Let's start off with the most important part...the food. I ordered Mike's Good Morning Sandwich (crispy potato, fried local egg, sweet pepper jam, PG aioli, avocado, and pepper jack cheese on a ciabatta type bread) ($7), the strawberry kale salad (quinoa, shaved fennel, lemon dressing) ($6), and sweet potato fries ($5). I was hungry. The sandwich was unbelievable. The bread was perfect. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. I wouldn't think to put potatoes in that breakfast sandwich but it just worked. The salad and the sweet potato fries were also amazing. My friend ordered the BBQ Pulled Jackfruit sandwich and also loved it. Can you tell that I like this place? The whole experience was great. They have a window outside you can walk up to to order and pay, then they call your name when the food is ready. There were benches out front where you can wait for your food and even sit and eat but they also have an adorable back patio with tables where you can sit and enjoy your yummy food. I will 100% be back here to try the "cheeseburger" (pea patty) and everything else on that menu. Such good quality food at an insanely affordable price. I'd say pretty bad advice unless you like to clog your arteries. The healthiest part of my sandwich was the Avocado, but I could barely taste it over the fried everything else. Mikes Deluxe had zero flavor and was absolutely uninteresting. But if you've got a thing for Mayonaise then I can see how you might like it. Had this place bookmarked to try but can't remember how I heard of it. Finally got to try it today. It was pretty chilly out and with no indoor seating I was pretty darn cold outside but I have to say it was still worth it, sitting out in the cold eating my Hot and Cheezy vegan burger, fries, and pomegranate lemonade. It was all fantastic! I was shivering by the time I finished but that didn't stop me from trying their oat milk soft serve ice cream. They recommended getting half chocolate half peanut butter. Delicious California Ranch "burger" and Mike's Good Morning Deluxe breakfast sandwich! We didn't even notice it was a veggie burger until a few bites in, the textures and flavors were so good. Breakfast sandwich was tasty also, with VERY soft ciabatta and delicious egg and avocado. Still, burger = better. To order in, go to the front of the restaurant near the parking lot. The menu is small but mighty, and they have cold drinks (including sparkling alcohol water, if that's your thing) available for purchase. Cups of water are free. The patio area is shaded and inviting, with plenty of room to social distance. Fries were only OK, I think they'd be better if they were crispier. Good for dipping in the California Ranch Burger sauce and the Good Morning sandwich sauce, too, which was both spicy and sweet. Happy to stumble on PGA during a trip to a local farm in Soquel. Long overdue review. Firstly, I'm a proud carnivore, and before moving to the area I was standoffish when my wife tried to entice me to eat here. Not only am I not vegan, I take some offense to what I recognize as vegan righteous indignation. Lets be honest... this part of California is not exactly a culinary wonderland. In January, against my better judgment I gave in and tried the Spicy Boy, one of their 'All Day Sandwiches'. It's basically a fried egg, hash brown patty, caramelized onion, jalapeño jam, and some other sauces on a toasted ciabatta. It was top five sandwiches I've ever had. The result is that I eat here four or five days every week. I've tried everything on the menu... from the selection of delicious burgers to the rest of the 'all days', to their seasonal rotating salads and soups and have never been disappointed. This is truly local, farm to table, gourmet deliciousness. I can't recommend this place any more than I can find anything in the area that even comes close. Thanks PGA. read more

PORTIONS ARE RIDICULOUSLY SMALL. I came with my two kids, spent over $30 and left starving. The Whole Bowl was super scrumptious but it wasn't even served in a bowl! It was in a little dish you might have a side of fries in. My teenage daughter got a small Pretty Green Goddess salad which was in a dish you might have a hot dog served in (SO tiny!). At most other restaurants, my daughter is generally satisfied with a small sized salad, but this was definitely an exception. She liked it but it was baby-size. My picky 10-yr old son opted only for the $4 Cinnamon Raisin Bread. I wish I took a picture, it was the most pathetic waste of $4. It wasn't even a whole slice and the hard crust was totally burnt. He said it wasn't even sweet. It looked like artisan olive bread and should have been complimentary with the salad - not a real menu item! They should change the name of this place to 'Freakin Fabulous Advice'! This place is outstanding. My new favorite restaurant. Just wow. The food is super fresh, lots of vegan options, I had the Bimbap bowl, the chili, and the carrot soup and an extra side of the house made kimchi. All were excellent. Everything I ate was grown 5 miles from the restaurant! Talk about fresh and tasty! The kitchen is kind of open air, meaning not hidden away, and you can see it's super clean. In fact the whole place was really detailed. Compostable eco-containers and utensils show how much they care. They've got a bunch of outdoor seating on the sunny patio (with umbrella) in addition to indoor seating, and their own parking lot. The music inside was simply stellar: I heard a couple of my favorite less-played Nirvana tunes, the Pixies, the Talking Heads, Mazzy Star, and a bunch more. The folks working here are super friendly, really upbeat, and deservedly very proud of what they offer. Incredibly well run down to every detail, they're doing everything right here and it shows!
