The service is friendly and the food is tasty. I was mildly disappointed by the limited menu and the prices, given the relatively small portions. We ordered four small items and rang up a $40 tab. The cup of cauliflower soup was better than expected, while the small green goddess salad was crisp with slightly mushy croutons. The pork pâté was a surprise favorite, and the "mustardy onions" were a great compliment to the dish. Finally, the mushroom bruschetta was "pretty good" according to my wife. I do not think she intended to be punny. We did not get to try their beautiful desserts, so we will be back for another try soon. read more

We started coming here recently, and their walk-up ordering window is ideal for current times, since we're doing our best to limit going inside buildings at the moment. Pretty good 'twas! I had the green goddess salad with chicken and it was super flavorful and light. I got the half salad which definitely lives up to the 'half' size title, so if you eat a lot I recommend a full salad, even though the half filled me up. The chicken was also very unique and yummy. My mom and I came in on day 2 of being open for lunch. I'm super glad Soquel finally has a restaurant that has healthy/artisanal food options that aren't exorbitently priced, definitely the kind of restaurant this area needed. The toast with tangerine jam and ricotta was amazing, as was the smoked sturgeon pita dish and the sweet and sour brussels sprouts. We weren't the biggest fans of the fennel soup or the baby lettuces salad. The soup was too heavy on the cream and too light on the veggies, some chopped pieces in there would've added to the texture. The baby lettuces salad had good ingredients but kind of a bland dressing. Basalmic reduction or another bold flavor would be nice for that. Overall I'm a fan and will be excited to see new menu items as they come up. read more

Healthy. I love food that makes me feel good about myself and my body after I've eaten it, without skimping on the taste during the meal. I particularly liked how cleanly the staff person Savanah was --and when I ordered dessert she gave me the biggest piece. Awe. I loved the brussel sprouts (surprise wedges of citrus in there), the whole bowl had tasty greens too. I liked the taste of mushroom bun, the cinnamon babka, the bay shrimp medley, and the lemonade (there is a kick to it, even without alcohol). :-) Just 4 out of 5 stars b.c. My husband(omnivore) and I(vegan) took a day trip to Santa Cruz and had to stop here, because I have been wanting it since the last trip I took. We both ordered the spicy chkn sandwich and fries. He loves hot sauce and was very happy with the house made hot sauce that was offered at the pick up window. The vegan ranch was also super yummy and had a great consistency. Food came out quick, hot, and delicious. The service was great as well. I would drive from sac again just to eat here and so would my husband. read more

Pretty Good Advice is what has been missing from my life. I always take family here when they visit. Their changing menu is always awesome and I love trying all their dishes. I miss being able to go in and see all the produce sitting on the counter but I'm glad they're handling COVID well. What I get: Mike's Good Morning Deluxe, Country Fries (if I'm eating there, they don't travel well), and any of their salads. Soft serve when it's got basil or chocolate and it's hot. Service: Always fantastic. I've ordered 100's of things from PGA and I think they only messed up one and caught it themselves and corrected it without me doing anything. They're always accommodating to my weird requests. Atmosphere: Love the patio when it's open. Inside is nice and clean. Price: Unbelievable good. This is not ihop so it's a quality over quantity for the peeps that were complaining about that, the flavor profiles of each dish are distinctive. Service was kind and efficient. My wife and I moved to the area about a year ago and I kept having Pretty Good Advice on my radar as a place to try out. Today, that day came and goodness are we glad it did. Hands down a new favorite place for us to get AMAZING vegetarian/vegan and gluten free food! I'm bummed it took us this long to make it a point to go and I missed out on a year of this. The burgers were more or less ok, but they came with dressing already which I didn't like. I was expecting a healthier type bread for a Veggie restaurant. They don't allow you to use the bathroom like every other takeout place I went. I was giving 2 stars but since you're so funny with your reply Matt, I guess I'd give 1, and next time I'll schedule the pee pee in your bushes how about that. We tried pretty good advice yesterday and were SO impressed! Right off the bat, the person taking our order was so kind and friendly. The menu is really interesting and the food tasted yummy. They gave us a free carrot soup (which tasted super good) and we ordered the breakfast sandwich, the whole bowl and the romaine salad, which was my fav. I loved the tahini ranch dressing and the crispy chickpeas. We also loved the strawberry lemonade. I appreciated the friendly and welcoming vibe. They are a tad small of a portion but i do think the flavor makes up for it. Food: i got their signature salad:Pretty Green Goddess. The salad was GOOD & FRESH! Its a creamy dressing and at first i thought it was like a cilantro lime , but there is something else in it that makes is so yummy!! I also got an iced coffee & they have almond milk & half/half as creamers. I do plan on coming back to try the other dishes. feedback: Def plan on coming back! However: I do wish they added a few more coffee drinks options. Like maybe a white mocha or caramel drinks.
