I went in for a routine gel manicure before a job interview, and after my manicure something felt off. That night, my nails began to burn and itch, waking me up in the middle of the night. The following day, they became tender and I noticed a crust appearing under my nails. The following day, they began to puss and bleed. After getting the gel polish taken off, a bruised and infected nail was revealed. I went to urgent care and they put me on strong antibiotics for a staph infection caused by uncleaned tools or improperly cured gel. It has been 2 weeks since this debacle and I am still in a great deal of pain, and won't be able to get my nails done for the foreseeable future (for medical reasons and out of sheer fear of this happening again). The store refused to take responsibly when I told them about what was happening and insisted it was my body having an allergic reaction to the polish, not them. If you need your nails done, go anywhere else but here.

I had Cindy last time and she was so attentive. I'm a new mom and am always taking care of everyone else first. She was working on my feet and checked in to see if I was ok and to make sure she didn't hurt me. It doesn't sound like much but to be so taken care of by a stranger was a nice feeling. The needle in my toe was extremely painful. I learned that nobody should ever cut the side of your nail of down the side. My toe always bothered me after 2 weeks, for years. I came here as a new customer since my spot didn't have the winter green that I wanted. I came in…read morefor fill in and pedicure. The spot is cute but small, nice colorful lights on ceiling . Tom did an amazing job, once he completed my fill in, Kim said I couldn't get a pedicure and stated that I only requested fill in. I told her I had an event tomorrow and needed both done since if I didn't I would be mismatched with my polish and having to return would be an inconvenience . I spoke with Tom and asked if I can get just a polish change since Kim was initially refusing to let him do my pedicure then wanted me to allow another customer to go ahead of me to make me wait for pedicure. Tom didn't a great job, he trimmed my nails , filed them and sprayed water to clean them. I had full intentions of returning to be Toms regular but Kim said charge her $5 extra since she is a new customer and we don't know where she came from and had to fix her nails. I informed Kim that I didn't have anything fixed then she went on to say that they only do short nails , which mine are by the way and that they charge extra to shape them. My nails didn't need any shaping it was regular filed as done with any acrylic fill in. You would think as a new customer that I would get red carpet treatment to get me to return but Kim treated me like shit. She told him to charge me regular customer price then "tell her to get out and remember her to not let her back since she caused trouble". I asked her name since she was so rude so I can document in my review and she said "Kim but I don't work here". I asked what do you mean you don't work here if you are sitting here doing a customers nails as we speak. Kim said she is only there once in a while. I asked to speak to manager, Tom said they were in queens. They would not call manager but Tom was taking orders from Kim which didn't make sense to me. I told Tom I would've returned for him but due to Kim's behavior I would not. I found it ironic that I saw this business on yelp in past but it must have been removed by owner due to bad reviews. On Facebook reviews I saw Kim is the owner and had positive reviews so something is shady about this scenario and makes it more clear as to why Tom was taking orders from her. I've been getting my nails done for almost 20 years and never experienced the treatment that Kim gave me. She was extremely rude as she raised her voice and argued with me in front of other customers. Kim is definitely bad for business

Super neat, great shape, and exactly what I asked for. They pay attention to detail here, which makes a big difference. The massage at the end was a nice touch too and I've never gone anywhere else after that overall, it's just a really comfortable, well we're on place with consistently great & warm service. I'm taking my daughter here when I come back and I'm so excited! Highly recommend this place if you want your nails done right and want to leave feeling relaxed.

Where do I begin!!!! I was greeted nicely and barely waited and I didn't have an appointment. I got extremely lucky with the most perfect and funny nail technician I have ever had. Her name is Delilah. Truthfully she needs to be the head nail technician there (even though I haven't had anyone else) she really sealed my experience. I will never go anywhere else going forward nor use anyone else. The main thing amongst others was that she was SO knowledgeable and patient with me about the different services they had and that she made it clear the choice was mine (did not push any expensive options on me like most nail salons do). Thank you so much for having her apart of your staff and for being so close to my job where I could even go on my lunch break or right after work. Oh and her work by the way is so clean and neat as you can tell by the photo. I will be telling and insisting everyone I know go to this salon and use Delilah specifically.
