They have a fair price for basic manicure--only $15 bucks. However, I mentioned to them several times I'm allergic to gel/acrylic and it seems they did not properly clean their tools from their previous client. The manicurist was very rough when trimming my cuticles and cut me. Then when I asked if she could fix the shape of some of my nails because they were uneven she became frustrated and told me to do it. On top of all that the salon was visibly dusty and dirty. After she was done with my manicure she did not bother to clean/sanitize her station or tools before moving onto the next client... Ugh idk why it's so hard to find a good/SANITARY salon in Montebello. Would not recommend this spot.

I absolutely love Pretty Nails Lounge. I will definitely go out of my way to get my nails done here! My gel manicure looks beautiful, they shaped my nails evenly, the color is so even and best of all, they didn't flood my cuticles. No product touched them, and very little trimming was done to them as well. I love how my natural nails look like acrylics! Very much worth the price.

Scheduled first time appt with Ken for manicure with builder gel. Ken was very rude and actually yelled at me. He hated me having questions when it's my first time getting builder gel. He completely forgot to do manicure and ignored me when I told him. Seems they also don't know how to properly apply builder gel. After applying it he used nail drill to practically file it all down. I was so confused, that's when I asked about the process and got yelled at. He proceeded with 2 coats of pink and clear gel polish, but where did the builder gel go? I left with dirty nails and full cuticles. Never got response on missing manicure. Paid for mani paid extra for gel nail polish that shouldn't have been needed. Also, when paying I told woman who seemed like the manager that Ken yelled at me. She gaslit me and said he didn't yell just has a loud voice. Nope, I read reviews after I left and several comments on Ken's rudeness and yelling. Noticed once at home that he didn't polish my nails all the way to tips. Now I also have bare tips. Never again,

Feeling conflicted... I made an appointment via IG and was told a price for a soak off was $8 and when it was time to pay they charged me more. It makes you think if you get up charged for other services... I feel comfortable making an appointment online than IG because I can see what I will be charged and not have any surprises... it's disappointing because I love coming here.

Love getting an acrylic nail set here! The are always so nice and it's very relaxing.

I'm giving it two stars I called and ask for a pedi which they had room for which was great went in and there doing my pedi and I just made up my mind that I want to do full set so I asked to see if they were able to do it and they said yes which I was happy about, but the guy who was doing my nails Justin I think his name is idk but he was doing my nails and was actually hurting me when he was using the machine and as of right now my nails are hurting me from how much and how hard he was doing my nails and some of the nails length weren't the same and the nails are very thick was just very disappointing because I've been coming here for almost 3 years I think I might just have to find a different place because there service is not as great as it was before

This was my first time here and I like it a lot. I needed my nails fixed and Ruby did a soak off and redid my nails very well. I'm extremely picky so I appreciated the way she asked if I was happy with my nail shape and did what I asked . She was very pleasant and helpful with what I needed. Their receptionist is also very informative and explains the service that is needed according to what your nails need (gel, dipped, soak off etc) She was sweet and very nice. I will definitely come back to Ruby and would have all my nail services done here !!!

So I almost didn't get birthday nails done because of all these bad experiences at other salons recently (fights, sloppy, rude service, etc.). I feel like many places lost their touch. I found Pretty Nail Lounge on Yelp and thought I'd give it a shot. I am so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, Jennifer greeted me very nicely and had me take a seat for my pedicure! The salon is very clean and pretty! It has a vibe. My nails!!!!! I got a full set of acrylic with marble and chrome... Tee is heaven sent!!! She saw the photo of what I wanted and she gave me exactly that! She was so patient and sweet! I tend to stiffen my fingers up when I get mani's and she was understanding!! My first time being sooo comfortable with a nail tech! Also got my brows done, PERFECT. The Pretty Nail Lounge is my new spot! Thank you!

I used to love coming here and would always go out of my way to get my nails done here. I eventually stopped coming for my nails as I felt the designs couldn't be done the way I pictured but I continued for pedicures. Now I won't even come back for that. My last experience was they didn't even do anything for my pedicure. The only thing that was done was filing and removing old nail polish. I stopped the service short and didn't even get french tip because I was already upset at the quality of service. Me and my boyfriend left with our feet hurting still. Still paid but felt like a waste of money. Disappointed because I genuinely liked coming here. read more

So, I'm pretty easy when it comes to my nails getting done. Just a color change, shape my nails, and gel manicure. I don't do that extra stuff, because I don't need too. Although, this place seems promising, and they offer a lot of services, my review is based on my manicure. It was ok, nothing special like the rest of my manicures, HOWEVER. I feel as though the girl who did my nails, as sweet as she was, was not very smooth in her application. I even asked for 3 coats of color hoping to cover up the uneven polish, but u can still see the brush strokes. My pointer finger top coat is already turning that grey color, and it's only been a day. It's also began to chip. She did file my nails, but she did not make them even. Now, this isn't my go to spot. I just so happen to be in the area with A LOT OF TIME to kill. I would recommend them!! They're clean, and very friendly. They do take their time, but if you're someone who is anal about ur nails, this isn't the place for a gel manicure. read more

I ended up going back to get my clear polish redone and get my broken nail fixed. I was able to get an appt the same day, again and my nails lasted about 3 weeks, including the clear polish. I loved the way the shop handled my complaint and overall very impressed. I walked in, wasn't questioned about my nails, which I loved. I ended up going back to give them another chance this past weekend and was assisted by Tom. wow, he did an amazing job. I got the dip powder again and he made them look so natural and not thick, which I love! He applied 2 different clear Coats on top and so far no problems. I would definitely go back again, to him specifically. I love how this shop closes so late and is open on Sunday's. Thank you to management for handling my complaint in the appropriate manner. read more

They DO NOT use new tools for clients! Every shop I have been to uses new tools. They open it from a new package. They pressure you to get gel nails. My pedicure looks so sloppy and my manicure too. read more

I came here on a Friday night and it was pretty busy, but they still greeted me upon arrival! I was attended to after a short wait and Thuy did my gel mani. She was very friendly and easy to converse with. My gel mani lasted for about 1.5-2 weeks! They have a wide variety of polishes: regular, gel, and dipping powder. They do other services too like acrylics, waxing, lashes, and of course, pedicures! Prices are great and they have friendly customer service! I love the design of the place. Clean, bright, spacious, and very inviting. Definitely will be coming back and recommending my friends and family! P.S. you get a 10% discount when you check in on yelp! read more

This review is a bit overdue as I visited a few weeks ago. I thought I was going to treat myself a little extra coming here, but it was just like any other salon you walk-in to whenever. The host doesn't have to act so posh... in fact I didn't even get a massage for my pedi that usually came with every pedicure I've received elsewhere (even if it's just for 5mins). Anyway back to the host or the girl that checked customers in... first thing she said was "you can wash your hands". Instead of asking she was demanding which I found kind of rude. I 100% agree we should wash our hands in these times; it's not about what she said it's about how she said it. Also, I did get served right away as I made an appointment, but so did all the walk-ins without an appointment. Again, don't act so posh. It's just any other nail salon in the area. The woman who did my pedi did it decently fast (I believe it took her only ~20mins) which is also one of the quickest pedicure I've received. It still came out nice, but for what it's worth and how they present themselves, I expected better. read more

Loved the dip nails and the pedi spa was aMazing! Will come again. Helen and Kathy was very informative! I never did dip nails but was glad I did. The environment is nice and quiEt, not super busy but customers seem to come in often. Total time spent on services was 1.5 hours. Not bad, including a wait time since I walked in. read more

Please DO NOT waste your money, gas, time or energy going to this salon. First off I went in & requested a pedi. KATHY then convinced me to get gel since they'd "last longer". Well it's was my birthday weekend and we got a room at the Mondrian so I knew I'd be lounging by the pool, didn't mind getting gel! Went out to dinner same night came back showered & my polish was CHIPPED!! My weekend was ruined as I couldn't even go to the pool after my toes looked this disgusting and when I called to let them know all they offered was for me to go back. Why would I waste my time and gas again knowing it would happen over and over again as their polish is no good!! I spent around 120-140 for a pedicure that only lasted a couple hours and they really didn't even try to work with me! Please ladies don't step foot here luckily I'm a tiktok influencer and posted content & a video exposing the terrible service and polish they provide ! I know my tiktok video will reach millions of girls in LA & Like I said if you're on here looking for somewhere to go, go as far as you can from this cheap scamming salon !! No other girl should have to go through this and have their weekend ruined after paying a good chunk of money !! & their staff & Manager refused to send a refund terrible Customer service read more

I'm giving 2 stars, 1 star because the front desk girl was very sweet and communicates very well, I had called to make an appt and she told me a time, and texted me back saying that they had a cancellation that if I wanted to come earlier I could which was great! 2 stars bc overall they were pretty nice However, I sat down and showed them the design I wanted and it's like all the employees knew that the lady who was going to do my nails probably wouldn't have known how to do it, though she did start my gelx removal, she attempted to rip off the gel x (you don't do that cause it damages your nails) and it hurt, she noticed and started to do a soak off, immediately I was nervous bc I didn't want a painful experience. They had me wait until a guy was finished doing another girls nail set, because apparently he was going to do my nails. He sat me down in his chair and he was very nice it just frustrated me that I picked about 4/5 different nail colors that they display they have and he told me they didn't have any color I wanted, and I was pretty frustrated because I didn't really like the other colors and I just told him to do a basic French tip with a pink base. They came out okay, I just wanted to get it over with because I feel like I was already there for a long time, anyways not even a week later 1 nail fell off and I was going to go see if they can glue it back on but then realized 4 of them were lifting and pulling my hair while I was washing it, next thing you know I only have 3 nails on and it's only been 10 days. The girl I usually go to, to get my nails done would not even lift in 4-5 weeks(she's just an hour away and I didn't want to drive too far) I don't know if it's their application but definitely didn't last as long, and it cost $80 plus tip. I do like how it is local and the customer service was friendly but I really do appreciate a quality service that I didn't feel I received. read more

A bit more than what I normally pay but if you want quality you gotta be willing to pay! I definitely found my new nail spot and it's so close and convenient. I was able to make an appointment for the same day and I was happy to get one because the set I had before from another salon was falling apart already. I love the scenery. Walked in every one was nice. BUT the girls need to be educated on their supplies. I asked for PIXIE dust 3 times and they said no only Fairy Dust. So when I was done i saw the pixie dust in the front counter. But other than that i had a great time. LOL. I will come back. read more

I love this place. It's quiet, clean and parking is always available. I also love that it's by appointment and they always honor my time slot. Andy does my nails and does a great job, every time. My full set last 2 weeks if not more but I never wait that long. They have an array of colors including Gel X nail, nail dip and the fancy pedicure add ons. I hate to even post this because I know it's going to get busy but the previous reviews don't do it Justice. I do appreciate their work and always tip more than 20% simply because of the quality and care. I always bring cash although they accept card. read more

I used to be so faithful to coming here and I'm now looking for a new nail place. Their service and quality has gone down drastically. I went in a couple weeks ago for a full set and let the tech know I didn't like how thick the French tip was and she proceeded to say no it's not and grabbed my hand and was looking at it like she was confused. It wasn't until I made her take it off that she fixed it. When she finished my nails they were HORRIBLE the shaping was off and lines were crooked on the design. I decided to give them another chance and go back for just simple gel. The nail tech that did my nails kept cutting me with the drill, not to mention they don't make it comfortable for you and keep you in the chair while doing your nails and toes at the same time just so they can get you done faster. So I kept having to reach my arm all the way across my body just so she couldn't paint my nails. Within hours of me going my gel was already ripping and peeling off. I went in this morning to get it fixed and the gel they used kept not sticking and it kept peeling. I will NOT be going back here anymore. read more

I have been coming here with my mother and husband for the past 6 months. I love it here. I have made a personal connection with the nail techs and know most of them on a first name basis. My first time here, I got a gel-x set with Andy. It was for my birthday and came out beautifully. After that, I decided to do dip powder and see how long my natural nails could grow. I go every 3 weeks now and have very long natural nails. I always get my feet done by Diana, I love how she shapes my toenails and how clean she gets my feet to look after removing the extra skin. I always get my hands done by Andy who does AMAZING designs... as well as Ruby who also is creative and throws out ideas for me. With Andy I can show him any picture and get a replica or a more intricate design that is spot on. With Ruby, she does not replicate, she gives me something new fresh and different from what the trends are. Anytime I go, I leave with something that I'm happy with and they make sure of that as they are doing your nails. Thank you to the whole staff there for always taking care of my mother and I and keeping the conversation going throughout the visit. You are all the best. i usually love this place but something was in the air today i guess.... went to sit for a pedicure and there were someone else's nails all over the seat... so she moved me. then she refused to cut my nails even tho i said i liked them short, kept insisting filing was better (even tho i kept asking for a cut) but then filed them crooked so now they're long and crooked??? in between all this a fly is constantly landing on me and my legs from the back door being open (definitely not a relaxing experience) AND THEN the guy in the shop heat up fish in the microwave for lunch which is like a cardinal sin if you ask me so i'm sitting here with a fly landing on me every two seconds, smelling like microwaved fish, arguing about my very visibly crooked toe nails. cool. anyways the service continues against my better judgement and i end up having to file one of my nails myself LOL a whole mess.... the person doing my nails tries and can't (surprise surprise) paint a french tip so the microwave fish person came and saved the day. that's why my review is two stars and not one. he may have no microwave manners but at least he can do a decent french. to put the cherry on top here there's dead cuticle skin hanging on my toes for dear life and my nail tech told me she was "still learning." what an absolute waste of time and money and as a mom who has very little of both, i won't be back. read more

First off, I'm not one to leave a bad review but to be honest the quality of work I received was so not worth the money. I wouldn't have bothered the price if the work was decent...but I must say that the pedicure I got was not what I expected. It's like I didn't get a pedicure and my toe nails were not even at all and over cut on one of my big toes. My feet looked as if I got two different kind of pedicures. My gel manicure was just as bad my nails were not squared, they were really bad shaped & polished. The polish was off the same week. read more

I love their safety disinfecting methods first and foremost. By appointment only for the most part. Hand washing as you enter so that your hands are clean touching the colors. Pedicure was decent. Kevin did my dip nails and he is AMAZING. Price is a little on the expensive side for dip nails, $40. Pedicure was $23 with callus remover. Not sure if it's worth the price. Overall 4 stars for KEVINs work and their safety measures. read more

What makes this situation frustrating is the strict enforcement of the company's cancellation policy, which charges customers a 50% fee when canceling less than 24hrs in advance. It is only fair that the same level of accountability be upheld on both sides. Customers are expected to respect the policy, and in return, the business should demonstrate the same consideration and reliability. Not be compensated with a $5 discount. When if I had canceled the appointment would have been charged $30. Experiencing this issue more than once concerns me about their consistency and professionalism. I hope improvements are made to better manage scheduling or compensation.

Went back a couple times during 2021 and their Covid protocols are still in place. WONDERFUL! I believe that they are accepting more walk-ins but I still made my appointment ahead of time. The work from the ladies meets my expectations every time. The gentlemen receptionist was helpful and accommodated my last minute request of adding a friend's pedicure the day of my appointment.
