This is nice little place which reminds me of my home town NYC so that's a plus. I eat some some of the best pizza in NYC so and honestly I didn't have a high hopes for this places but it surprised me. It's not a coal oven but with its slightly sweet pizza crust and fresh veggies, not to mention home ice cream, pretzels that are made front you and to top it off they had good cup of coffee. After trying to find an affordable place to sit down in Old Town Frederick in 90 degree heat we were about to give up when we found this place. My husband and I both got the turkey cheese with bacon on focaccia and it was so yummy. The salt on the focaccia really brought out the flavor of the sandwich. They have really good ice cream too and the servings are big! My only gripe that won't affect most people is that the bathroom didn't have a changing station for my son. If there was a location closer to my home I would probably weigh 300 pounds from visiting every day. I wish I had tried their pizza! read more

This place ended my 10+ quest for an excellent Roast Beef sandwich. If they added a touch of horseradish sauce, I might have to say this is the best sandwich ever, so for now, 2nd best. It will leave you craving more! The chips that come with it are to put it nicely, terrible. They were the 1st thing I tried- not good. I also go the pesto chicken pizza & the pretzel knots. I wish I would have known about this place before violating my stomach with the Little Caesars garbage pretzel dough. The pizza was good, but I have had better pesto. The knots were really good, but the marinara sauce was extremely watered down to where you could almost classify it as soup. I hope this isn't the same sauce they use on their pizza. Worth the visit! And if I was in my young 20's still, I would be here every night after hitting up the bars. If you do want delivery, they stop at 10. read more

I've enjoyed this local restaurant since they opened in my high school years. The menu has expanded to offer a nice selection. The expanded seating is good! Only complaint is I hate the syrofoam cups! Too bulky and why use such a bad environmental material? Please switch to paper cups! read more

This place is great and despite it being packed almost every time I've been there, service is always wonderful. The cashiers are always pleasant and they are fast considering they have so many orders to fulfill. I'm not fond of their pizza at all but their pretzels are amazing. They are a bit overpriced though which is kind of disappointing because i'd love to order more but cannot justify buying much due to their insane prices. read more

Holy... Amazing. This place exceeded all expectations. My boyfriend and I split a 14 inch three cheese (?) pizza.. I always eat 2 slices, maybe 3 if I'm just totally starving. I ate 4, and loved every second of that pigging out session. Best pizza around! We didn't grab dessert or anything but it looked like they had a whole set up of different amazing options. I came here for the first time today, for a pretzel-making field trip with my daughters. Despite nearly our entire group cancelling due to illness, the staff was gracious, friendly, and wonderful with our preschoolers. The food was fresh and delicious. Such a cute, downtown restaraunt! The sweet aroma of pretzel dough and pizza invites you right in. They have a glass wall between yourself and the employees preparing your food,which I loved because I was able to see if it was clean or not...and it was. I ordered a cheese pretzel pizza which was absolutely delicious!!! I also got an iced caramel latte which was sooooo tasty and fresh. I LOVE this place. If you ever pass through Frederick, MD you must stop here. The pizza dough is to DIE for. I mean literally, pull out the gun and off me now. I love getting a pretzel, and small pizza. Everything I have tried here has been delicious. On Friday/ Saturday nights during the summer it can get rowdy, they are right near the bars and stay open pretty late. read more

The manager came out after we enjoyed our pizza and harassed us. He harassed us to the point where it made us feel unsafe and feel like we needed to leave to go somewhere else. As I entered premises one couple was in front of me in line viewing a menu. They ordered as I waited next in line. Several couples entered behind me & each time they were greeted & offered a menu yet no one acknowledged me at all. A line began forming & as I stepped toward the register a man maneuvered his way in front of me & they took his order. So apparently I was invisible to them. As I left I stated loudly 'Guess you don't want business.' Reasonable prices for filling menu items. I got two pretzels for about $6, one stuffed with roasted peanuts and one with parmesan and spice. My wife got the beef chili pretzel hot dog for $6. We both left satiated and pleased with the meal. We will definitely be back to try some of the other pizza and/or pretzel creations. Atmosphere was casual, almost like a pizza joint. Great little restaurant that I stopped in while in Frederick. I ordered a butter and salt pretzel, a veggie 8" pizza, and a beer, while the two other people I was with ordered 8" cheese pizzas. All of the items were of great quality and the 8" pizzas were perfect portions for a midsized meal. The difference between this pizza and regular pizzas was that I actually looked forward to eating the crust, as it is made from pretzel dough and is absolutely delicious. The beer selection is limited to approximately 6 variations of flying dog and a couple of genetic brands, though I was extremely happy and grateful to be drinking some "raging bitch" while eating my pizza. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be stopping in when I go through Frederick again. read more

I have only ever had breakfast at Pretzel & Pizza Creations, and it is always delicious, my only gripe is they open so late! (sat 9am and sun 10am) I get they are open late but on several occasions I've had to go elsewhere for breakfast just because of the hour. read more
