My boyfriend and I went to Germany about two years ago, where he ate schnitzel every single day he was there (for a week), so when he found this place so close to our house, he berated me until we tried it. A standout favorite for this spot is that they give you blankets when you sit outside which (in my opinion) should be a standard in restaurants with outdoor seating. Our waiter was super friendly and really knowledgeable about the menu, which is always great when dining with my boyfriend who is known to order whatever is most recommended. We started with the spaetzle (which will be replacing my current go-to mac and cheese order) and then had the Frankfurter Schnitzel and the Jägerschnitzel. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection! We had to order the Schokokuchen for dessert which was incredible, rich, chocolatey, and the perfect end to the meal. We had a great night and would definitely go back. It will absolutely be added to our favorite dinner spots!

The problem started when they cashed out our tab before we asked and said they added a 21% gratuity to it THEN kicked everyone out to wait in the cold at 1230 (before 0100 which is what they posted the event ended). I said this and they told us oh well you have to go outside we're closed. The tab clears my bank and they added AN ADDITIONAL $80 tip! So now this bartender gave himself over $140 of tip on my tip between the forced 21% they originally gave then added the additional tip. We immediately called the next day ask asked to speak with the manager the hostess said she would get him to call us back, gave name and number and told the situation. They didn't call us back. Once again the place was cool but not for how they treated their paying customers there for an event they decided to host then to think they can just add extra tips on the tabs!!

The Rt 17 location has a neat Filipino Fusion restaurant inside called Bok Choy Boy, also excellent. They have another property with a dog friendly beer garden. Beers on tap are available in 5, 10, or 16 oz. Prices are reasonable, way better than Trillium. Service for both the bar and restaurant were outstanding. My only complaint is they their swag sucks.

Luna was offered water (we always bring our own bowl, but it's always nice when places offer), and she happily curled up under the table to rest after a full day of swimming at the beach. Nice place for a casual meal, some drinks, and they always have sports on, if that's your thing.
