Very disappointed. I had been here before and loved it, went again to celebrate a friend's birthday. Worse evening out. I had a long black course hair in my dinner and one on the napkin. After pulling it from my mouth, my friend got the Manager. The Manager came to the table and told me it didn't come from the kitchen. I felt like she was accusing me. Weird combo of Italian, sushi and craft beers. But I like all those things, so it works for me. Good quality stuff and nice selection of microbrews that you don't find out here too often. I'll be back next time in the area. read more

I've been here plenty of times, usually a 7 or 8 out of 10 experience. I went for dinner on 7-31-2013, ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca ( which means- jumps in your mouth, in Italian.) The Chef must of Knocked over the entire salt container into my dish, It was mouth puckering salty. Not being a complainer , I forced it down. Not a hint of lemon in dish, as stated in description. We were a little worried when we saw a full parking lot but the wait was only 20 min for the dining room and no wait for a high top in the bar. Service was prompt and friendly throughout the evening. Lots of great beers on tap (20) and in bottles. For dinner, we ordered the Salmon Timothy, the Seafood Risotta and a cheese pizza for the kids. Everything was excellent, even the kids pizza was above average. Dessert was very good too. Total will was about $100 for 2 adults & 2 kids before tip. We will definitely be coming back. read more

Went on a Friday night. We had reservations,was seated immediately, meal was very good and the waitress was awesome. My only complaint is that I had a visa gift card and was the only reason we went to eat out was to spend it .upon getting the bill was informed that they don't accept gift cards. I've been a patron since Prezo opened. It's good enough to keep me coming back, but it has issues. Service changes as the staff rotates. That said, the current staff do a good job. But busy nights should be avoided as the kitchen and floor staff stress is guarantee of a bad meal with slow service. Try Acapulcos next door instead. The bar is a great place to hang out, featuring the entire menu, great beers, good service and good people watching. The sushi bar menu is good, but the execution is inconsistent. I have been repeatedly disappointed by the seaweed salad and the eel. Busy nights can make for long delivery delays and sloppy execution, but the maki and sushi are good on the slower nights. The pseudo-Italian menu has evolved, and does feature great chicken and veal dishes. The seafood menu is extensive in summer, but can be inconsistent in quality. The regular menu quality depends on the crowds, but at least the wait staff is responsive to adjusting the check. This is the best pizza in the area, and the only place we get pizza to go. It's worth the drive past the other local pizzerias. That said, it's not really about the food so much as a place to gather at the bar with friends. And the food is good enough to curb the buzz. read more

Very Good food and great people watching. We eat here on a regular basis. I've never had a bad meal here. Pizza's are really good, one of my favorite places to get pizza. The menu is huge and they usually have a good selection of specials. I noticed recently that for some strange reason they don't like to fill their martini's to the top so the martini's are a ripoff! They sound good on the menu but they are small and weak! Thankfully there's a decent selection of beer and wine and of course there's a well stocked bar. The bar is great for people watching but can be a little loud (which doesn't bother me). Our service has always been very good. read more

Prezo is a great choice for lunch, dinner, or just the bar. Staff is super friendly. Food is always top notch, and they have a creative menu. I'm a sucker for their seasonal specials too. Food is great. Ive eaten here multiple times and have tried many dishes. Im always pleased with the quality + taste. Lots of flavor, good presentation. Nice lounge/bar with large microbrew beer selection. I believe its owned by Wormtown brewery and features many of their beers along with others. Staff is also knowledgable of the beer. My favorite Italian restaurant in the area. I have been to the lunch buffet a few times and for the price, it's a good deal. I like to sit at the hi top tables in the bar for lunch, great quick spot for people watching. Everybody has to pass through the bar area at lunch. But more so, for dinner, I cannot complain. Background - I've been going here for years. Food is normally great, atmosphere is great and staff is also great. So, why 3 stars? Easy, parking and crazy busy. Good problems to have I suppose, but of the 8 times I've (tried) to go there, 6 had no parking (and I don't valet in Milford!!), we got in once, but 3 deep at the bar, and the most recent time we actually got a spot to park and at the bar!! Food was marginal this time, not bad but not good either. Biggest issue is that they have 1/2 the bar filled with people that are not drinking or eating, so it just makes a busy place overly busy for no reason. Very frustrating experience. Very doubtful that we will go back, too much BS, and there are other places to eat.... I hate turning a night out into a Frustrating experience. So three stars for what could be a great place. read more

My wife and friends and I had a very nice meal at Prezo Saturday night. Both couples started with splitting a salad and both were huge servings. We had the beet salad. I believe friends had Ceasar. All good. Three of us had the swordfish medallion special that was excellent my wife had a chicken dish that was also good. Excellent beer list. Reasonable prices. Great food! Great service! I've never had a bad meal here. The prices average about $20 a plate which might scare some. But the portion sizes are always generous unlike some restaurants. I've had almost every dish on the menu and the only thing I can complain about is the peanut dipping sauce with the Thai lettuce wraps. Just not my thing. This has become one of our favorite places when we are looking to go out to eat. The food is basically amazing. We tend to have a favorite dish that we get often, but they are always changing the specials around, so there is an opportunity to try something different. Literally the only time we were unhappy with the food, we switched entrees and we both liked what the other had ordered. (I was sad when the white zinfandel dressing disappeared though) Another thing we love is that they feature new, local beers. The first time we ever had Jack's Abby was at Prezo. So much nicer than picking from 5 generic draft beers that their competitors might offer. On a weekend, you probably want to make a reservation, unless you don't mind waiting a while. I have always been a fan of Prezo, their seafood is always excellent; I just can't get over the noise level. My husband and I went there for dinner last night and we were put in the front room and it was so noisy that we couldn't even have a conversation. The bar is always loud and I expect that but when I am sitting at a table and I can't even hear a word the other person says without leaning over I do not enjoy my meal. read more

A restaurant is more than just food; it's the atmosphere, the hospitality, the customer service. It's those elements I must critique. Last Saturday while celebrating my mother's birthday, the fire alarms went off. We were barely halfway through our meal, so while we finished, our ears were assaulted by the fire alarms blaring and deafening any conversation. My mother, instead of enjoying a family meal including my father who's in the middle of cancer treatments, ended up leaving to go sit in the car because the noise was unbearable. Our waitress came over several times to assure us of our safety and to apologize. However, despite our meal being ruined, the manager never once came to our table (though she did stop at the adjacent table), nor was any part of our meal comped. Given the cost of the meal (nearly $120 for 4 people, with only 2 drinking), I don't think it would have been all that difficult for the manager to come over and apologize for the inconvenience and knock a couple bucks off the bill. Frankly, it seemed the least they could do... That is until our waitress told us that we were being charged fully which is clearly the least they could actually do. We should have guessed the meal wasn't going to be a good one at the start: neither wine my sister or I wanted (rose and muscato) were available. And the waitress got my mother's beer order wrong. To sum up: my mother's birthday meal was ruined, we spent 15 minutes listening to the deafening fire alarms go off, and the management didn't even care enough to apologize for the inconvenience of the whole thing. Shameful. We won't be going there ever again. read more

Food and service are really good. Came on a busy night and got seated quickly. I like that there are two completely separate rooms for the bar/high top seating and a dining room. So if you come for a nice dinner and the bar is packed, you still have a quiet time. read more
