Don't go. Even with a reservation it's an hour wait. Why make a reservation if you have to wait an hour? Their technology and managers are not in check. One of the best Italian meals I've had in a while. We decided to share a few plates, the pasta was delicious. We had the orecchiette, the cacio e Pepe and the parpadelle and wild bore and all were delicious. We also had the orso buco and risotto and the lamb and they were delicious as well. Piero the chef came to greet us and he is a real Italian trained to cook in Italy. The ambiance is fairly elegant and appropriate attire is recommended. Well this little gem escaped my notice but looks like I'm the only one! Great crowd on a Tuesday night- restaurant and bar were humming the entire evening. Appetizer calamari classily tasty and crisp, warm, with excellent dipping sauce. Fresh bread (whole grain and..sourdough? Nice!) with extra virgin olive oil. Classic ceased for my Dad and his lady friend-actual anchovies if you like-and the did like! My chicken parm was warm juicy flavorful with excellent tomato sauce. The Ciopinno was pop pop POPPING like a Champagne bottle on a night of wedding! It was timeless. It was classic. It was a dreamy bowl of soup that I'd say, "I DO" to everytime. So, let's rewind real fast? What is Ciopinno? It's a delicious fish stew that started cooking in San Francisco, CA (circa late 1800s) when fisherman would come back with no Catch of the Day. Of course, they still needed to eat! So, they'd grab a pot and walk around the Wharf asking other fisherman to give whatever they could from their catches. Eventually, they'd add some seasonings, tomatoes, wine and water to create a beautiful broth that encompassed all the different fish and shellfish! Just like that, Ciopinno was born. Nowadays, Ciopinno will have more of the usual mix and match of seafood. Pricci included crab, cod, clams, mussels, shrimp and scallops. It was beautifully presented -- and truly full of the richest Ciopinno flavors. The bowl was filled with all the fish/shellfish goods, including a toasty piece of sourdough! A slice of sourdough bread is a must--have when getting this tasty dish. You need it to help soak up all the amazing broth at the bottom. You do not want to waste a bite of it! Trust me. It's like not smearing your spouse with wedding cake, it's going to get messy but gosh it's the best and one of the most delicious parts of the day! Beyond the Ciopinno, there were other amazing dishes. My friends got all different kinds of dishes. I got to try Cacio e Pepe for the first time! It was rich and creamy, which I imagine is everything you want and need in a Cacio e Pepe? However, I do not feel like I can judge it as it was my first time ever trying it. When comparing it to the Ciopinno, I'd still get the Ciopinno (if that helps you decide who you should give your final rose, too). What and who really nailed the experience was the atmosphere that was created by the staff! Upon walking in, Pricci is decorated to the nines. It felt warm and inviting. A perfect place to have a special group dinner or low key romantic one with one other guest. The entire staff working the floor was so attentive and SPOT ON. There was never a moment when my water glass was not filled or they were checking on what we needed. Our main server was Copper ~ what a person to have take care of you for the night! When we had a few things come out wrong, Copper made sure to correct it as quickly as possible and did it with such ease. Everyone very much appreciated the service. I came to dinner with my wife for Mother's Day ( 2 days early) and their service was amazing, from the nice lady that answered the phone and was flexible with us being late ( my wife is pregnant, and Atlanta traffic is ridiculous) to our server Daejah who kindly answered all of my many questions! Getting over 22 days of Covid. really: this. Is. My. Place. Chef Peiro rarely misses - except when he takes the ossobucco off the menu for the summer. I have never had a single bite here that did not make me want another one. A few faves: carpaccio Burrata Orecchiette (the sausage is handmade!) Truffle fettuccine - I've had it 4 times now and just... swoon. The pizzas - excellent! Veal Milanese Ossobucco - I await its return every season. Sincerely. I think it's one of the best dishes IN ATLANTA. That's hard to narrow down but please go eat it. Trust me. And don't skip the bite of marrow. The wine list is lovely - sliding into a bottle of Super Tuscan or Amarone is always a good idea. Wrap it all up with a limoncello and a double shot of espresso. Even the arguably sorta dated decor still feels just right. The phases of the moon depicted in the lighting that goes around the dining room has always made me smile. It's cozy. Oh man we almost missed the deadline for the Buckhead Summer Dine Around program. I'm so glad they give you a 7 day grace period. We got the pepperoni & sausage pizza, the Margherita pizza and the Chilean Sea-bass. William was our server and he was super. The food took a minute and he must have been able to tell how hungry we were so he sent over a salad. It was on our bill but we didn't mention it..I guess he forgot. The gesture was thoughtful. The sea-bass was super moist and flavorful. The pizzas were really good too. I'm not a sausage fan but my mother in "love" really enjoyed it. He also brought us a tiramisu...that was indeed a gift as it was not on our bill. This visit to Pricci was one of our best experiences here. This was our second time to Pricci; both have been date nights. The first time we came, we were strictly focused on eating branzino. I remembered liking the restaurant but on this second visit, the experience was perfection. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers --Carpaccio --Mushroom Risotto Entrees --Chilean Sea Bass Livornese --Funghi Pizza Extra side: Spinach I'm a mushroom lover, thus the mushroom appetizer and entree. The risotto was some of the best I've ever had. The flavor was perfection and it was very saucy. It was so good that we ordered another (this time entree portion) to go and ate it the next evening as a side for our dinner. The pizza was just okay. It was better reheated the next day, but if you're only going to try one mushroom item, go with the risotto! My husband had the carpaccio as his appetizer. The flavors blended well, but it's definitely one of those dishes where you have to get a little of each ingredient in the bite to get the full experience. His entree was the sea bass. Honestly, the fish was made well but needed seasoning. This is again a dish where you have to work to get the flavors blended. The sauce was where the flavor was! NOW ABOUT THE EXCELLENT SERVICE...our waiter was everything: knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, pleasant to chat with, and responsive. Because we had a reservation, he greeted us by name the first time he approached the table. When my husband asked for Italian seasonings to add to the oil that was brought for our bread, he went to see if it was possible. We were presented with small bowls/ramekins of various spices (dried oregano, crushed red pepper, fresh basil, and pepper; see the attached picture!) to create our own experience. I'm truly addicted to having good food and great times with good people! My mom and aunt share a birthday, so while in town we went to Pricci! Pricci is a Buckhead staple. It celebrated its 30th anniversary last year and has amassed quite the following from locals, tourists, and celebs alike. We started with a small tasting from the chef which was a ceviche with cubed cod, grated cucumber and microgreens. It was my first time ever trying ceviche and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Polpettine as an appetizer. These are veal and ricotta meatballs, simmered in pomodoro and topped with mozzarella. They were succulent and tasty. Other appetizers included the creamy Georgia goat cheese in warm marinara served with just baked focaccia, and the Burrata Pugliese. For my meal I opted for the Lasagna Espressa. This was a rather large portion for me so I was able to eat it for two more days once I took it home. This is more like your traditional lasagna and is made with a veal bolognese sauce and has creamy Parmigiano reggiano bechamelle between the layers. I did have to add a small amount of salt. You can taste the hint of nutmeg in the bechamelle also and it makes it that much more authentic. We had a lot of different wines but the one I liked most was the Hindsight 20/20 Cabernet Sauvignon. It was very full-bodied, robust and accompanied the meal well. Pricci is only open for dinner. There's the option to self park or valet which is fairly inexpensive. It's a very large restaurant with an open kitchen concept. It's great for people watching, date night and large groups and they do upscale dining very well. read more

Prices are in line with current day finer dining, and quality of the food is slighlty off top notch, but in the category of very good. We added this dining experience to our list of "good ones", but not on the list of "must returns". Nothing that affected our opinion, but 2 points that were , at worst "annoying". Our staff, was efficient, and delivered a great service, but lacked connectivity.Normal cordialities and verbal engagement were absent, almost like a rude diner experience. I saw almost, because it was really that bad, just slightly off. I also think a class restaurant, provide its dinners with a place to park where the Valet keeps his tips, and $3.00 does not go to the house for parking. I always thought this was a well respected Italian restaurant. However, save yourself and go to some other Italian restaurant, there are plenty of better choices. We got the ravioli, it wasn't seasoned, the sauce was super bland, worst ravioli in my life. I also got the creamy goat cheese and marinara, which was just okay and was served with very oily bread. Their truffle risotto with asparagus, the truffle had no taste or smell, and also had very small amount of truffle. I recently watched a truffle documentary and honestly it seems like they're serving Chinese truffles. Their truffle tasted like pencil shavings. Sadly, the best thing we ate over here was the french fries. Service was alright. This restaurant seems like it's stuck in the past and majority of the patrons were old people that are living their glory days. He's from Naples, and the chefs are from Italy. The service was top drawer. The water glasses were filled. The soiled plates were immediately removed. The food was outstanding. We had the fried seafood appetizer, the arugula salad, and the bread with olive oil. All were delicious. Our entrees were Frutti de Mar filled with scallops, mussels, and shrimp and the Brazzino, which was two fillets. Both were wonderful. We are just visiting, but we want to return. My dining cohort and I decided to use her Dine Around card this month at Pricci. We have eaten there before but never had the urge to go back. This time was an eye opener. We each had all we could eat and I took some marvelous linguini with fruite de mar home to re savor it later. After ordering a few appetizers, which were out of this world,, we opted for more apps and called it a day. First came the calamari with eggplant chips and 2 sauces. The fry chef was brilliant. Each bite was exquisite. The eggplant just melted in my mouth. Our server was Charles and he was very patient with us as we couldn't decide on what to next. Our palates prevailed and we did 1/2 a Caesar salad chilled dressed properly and plenty on the plate and a creamy, melted soft as butter cheese in a tomato sauce with 1/2 a loaf of focaccia bread for dipping. The sauce was fabulous and with out a trace of bitterness, we could have drunk it from the bowl. Then we ordered from the menu of pasta dishes which could be ordered in 1/2 sizes. So we picked a ravioli dish which was cooked al dente and stuffed with a mixture of beef and veal. We also chose the appetizer portion of the linguini with seafood of every description all cooked to perfection. It was laden with mussels, giant shrimp, clams and baby octopi. We normally sit as I recall in the front by the windows. We were however directed to a table in the main dining room behind the bar. We had the added glamor of the art deco decor as well as their famous moon lights near the ceiling. We were bowled over when the diners behind us ordered truffles for their dish. The gentleman came with truffles under glass and proceeded to cover the dish in sliced truffles so you thick you couldn't tell what was under it. The service was impeccable from start to finish. This was early on a Friday night so as the hour passed, it became much more crowded. A reservation is a must. All said and done, Pricci became a favorite of ours and we will be back for more pampering. read more
