They don't have a fancy website, or even a dedicated email address and texting system. Nor do they provide elaborate diagnostic spreadsheets to customers electronically. It's old school all the way. No frills. Dial their phone number, tell them your problem and drop-off your vehicle. They don't do appointments. Despite these 21st century shortcomings I've had nothing but positive experiences at Global and that's saying a lot considering the charlatans that exist in the auto repair industry. I've taken three cars there over the years and while there has always been a lengthy turn-around, I've never been nickeled and dimed with bill-bloating diagnostics or exorbitant shop supply fees. You bring it in, they give you a quote, they solve the issue and deliver the vehicle for the price agreed upon. I can't say enough good things about Global. I only wish they were closer.

After the repairs were completed there was still major noise from the pinion bearings ( I kinda figured they may be bad also) so after getting another great price I had them do the repairs. I immediately drove 1250 miles to WA with trailer in tow and about 4500lbs of payload. The truck ran like a Swiss watch ! Absolutely phenomenal work by Don and his team. At first we had a couple communication problems but in the end I was very pleased that I went with Autotech Services. Autotech Services is a mobile repair service, which was a big plus for me - I didn't have to leave home to get the work done. Willie arrived at my residence to do the work and here's where our communications proved to be out of synch -- he'd understood me to say I had the parts but that wasn't the case. No matter, this was resolved immediately by his going out of his way finding and getting the parts needed for the repair. Armed with the right parts, he completed the work expeditiously. He also discovered a problem with work done by a previous mechanic and resolved that issue. And he noted and fixed a problem with the battery tie-down that wasn't part of the work I'd hired him to do. Bottom line is I'm very happy with the repair -- the suspension noises I'd been hearing are gone, and it was cool that he took care of the other issues he found along the way. I'm very pleased that the rate he charged to do the repair was very reasonable. Parts plus labor were a little more than half of the quote I got from a chain repair place. Willie was friendly, polite, and pleasant, so a personality bonus on top of the other good stuff. Full disclosure -- I tend to stick with businesses that have lots of (positive) reviews but this time I didn't worry about review count and I am glad of it.
