Sicilian Margarita with a sesame crust delicious!
    Jennifer T.

This is one of my favorite pizza places in this area. My husband and I love coming here to get a variety of slices because they have so many different styles available. They make a delicious red sauce here! My favorites are the tri color slice, grandma, detroit, and their Sicilian slices. There are too many good ones to choose! Tramonto's is a must try and worth a drive to go! I highly recommend Tramonto's Pizza in Ocean Township!

This place was the cutest and has the absolute best pizza!! The pepperoni by the slice with hot honey was DELICIOUS.

When you walk in there are so many pizza choices in the window, but I knew what we wanted. We had been lured here by countless social media posts and I had my heart set on one pizza. But first... We started with an order of Garlic Parmesan wings with their hot peach sauce on the side. Fresh jumbo wings cooked perfectly crisp and juicy on the inside, covered in a generous amount of homemade Garlic Parmesan sauce. And that peach sauce... absolutely dynamite. Do not skip on these wings and save that peach sauce for dipping their sidewinder fries in it. After seeing all the videos we had to try the prime rib cheese steak. We knew we had a pizza coming so we decided ahead of time to split one half and only eat half of the fries. This was no easy task, will power around great food does not play well in my brain. The bread is perfect, the steak was tender and the cheese was melty and gooey. So much flavor, I was so thankful the pizza showed up because that other half was not making it home otherwise. The pizza that called my name and lured me here was the Chicken Vodka Burrata Detroit Style. After seeing so many photos and videos, my expectations were high and this pie far exceeded my expectations. They let their dough ferment for a few days and wow does this make for a delicious airy yet thick deep dish base. The cheese crust was perfect and not oily. They obviously use the best quality mozzarella. Their vodka sauce tastes like vodka sauce not tomato cream sauce. The creamy burrata adds a silkyness that pairs perfectly with this amazing pizza. The chicken... Imagine a chicken crouton that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. A perfect taste and texture addition to the best Detroit Pizza I've ever had. Seriously folks this pie screams cover me in cheesy goodness and come back tomorrow. And come back tomorrow is exactly what you will want to do. This is not in our backyard but we will start making excuses to drive to the area so we can enjoy this place again and again. Wings, Cheese steak and Pizza, the trinity and they do all 3 perfect. To Lee and Teddy, thank you. It was a pleasure to meet you both and we wish you all the success you deserve. ... Until we eat again

We tried the Trio Pizza. It had red sauce, pesto and vodka sauce. Thin and crunchy with lots of flavor. We also shared a meatball parm hero. The bread was excellent but meatballs to so much and neither was the sauce. Stick with the pizza.

Ordered online here to pickup. The lady at the counter was super friendly and nice. We got hot honey wings which were so good. The pizza was thin, crispy and very good. I'd definitely come back if I was in the area

pizzas were great! i forgot which type it was but the wife (owner/coowner) was so nice and welcoming! It's a smaller place with some seating off of sunset ave. there is parking in the side street. the pizzas were a perfect crispy on the crust and the sauce was perfect

Tramonto's has some seriously delicious food! Highly recommend the Detroit hot honey roni square pie - it's like nothing we've ever had before! The interior is cute, although this is more of a takeout spot/very casual pizzeria. Can't wait to go back and try some of their entrees.

Had never heard of this place and then saw it online. I enjoy detroit style from time to time. The detroit hot roni was nicely done. We got delivery and it came lukewarm which wasn't the best. I did find the crust a little salty but that is sometimes normal with detroit style. The boneless wings are out of a bag so I would skip. Fried oreos were a nice end to the meal. I would reorder.

Tramonto's! So happy your location is revamped. When I came here two years ago after my wedding weekend, I got so so so sick from a single slice of plain pizza before getting on a six hour flight to California. It was bizarre. When I moved back into the area recently, I was pleasantly surprised to see you had been under new ownership & the menu was different, & the shop looked cleaner. I've been wanting to try your drunken buratta pizza but I wanted to try out the new menu first before I committed to a pizza. I ordered fried ravioli (super yummy) & and a drunken chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich is huge, like a legit foot long portion. Chicken is nicely seasoned & breaded. Flavors are nice. But this sandwich needs a "drunken vodka sauce" served on the side. It gets too dry alone. I used my fried ravioli sauce to dip my sandwich in. Otherwise, food is delish.

Big Mac slice, thin crust - tastes just like a Big Mac!

Tramonto's Pizza is a true gem! From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with a warm, family-oriented atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The menu is a perfect blend of classic and cutting-edge Italian cuisine, offering something for everyone. The quality of the ingredients truly shines through in every bite. Whether you're indulging in one of their old-school pizzas or exploring their more modern dishes like the Big Mac slice or the Panko fried pasta blocks. you can taste the care and expertise in the preparation. The pizza is nothing short of perfection--crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and the freshest toppings. But the other dishes are just as fantastic, a must try is the OG Philly Cheesesteak !! The variety on the menu means there's always something new to try, and each dish is just as tantalizing as the last. If you're in the mood for high-quality, authentic Italian food in a welcoming setting, Tramonto's Pizza is the place to be. Highly recommended!

We got the garlic parm wings for an app. And you could taste the better quality wing that you were eating! Bell and Evans poultry man..... no joke. The lady had a hot honey, basil, ricotta dollop, (and some Italian meat that I am forgetting as of right now). It was good. I had the cheesesteak. When I say it was quite possibly the best cheese steak I ever had. I mean that solely on taste!!!! I dunno what Pat LaFrieda does to their rib eye....... But it is damn good. The thing I really love about this cheese steak is, even though you get a cheesy cheese steak, the cheese never drowns out the taste of the steak! I have had so many cheese steaks where the cheese overtakes the meat or the meat itself is completely tasteless. THE BAD. The price of this place was definitely above my broke A$$ to get on any regular basis. Between the price and the distance I am glad I don't live closer to this place (I would probably end up homeless!). And charging 2 bucks more for a salad instead of fries I find insane (but that is everywhere). And the 3% service fee is insulting especially since the price is on the higher side anyway! The over all is this...... Even though we went on July 19th, 2026 and there were tornado warnings (wild... I know!) that day, it was busy and yet the staff was nice and the food was excellent! Just know you pay a bit more than a typical pizza joint!!!!

Detroit style pies are not to be played with, like don't do it if you can't master it because getting the mass of dough cooked thoroughly throughout I empathize is tough but just like putting a steak on your menu, don't do it unless you're ready to cook it perfectly. The smell of this thing had me salivating, the look got me excited, but when I bit into it my heart immediately sank because it was not cooked through. I'm not talking soggy I'm saying raw dough, like major rookie move. It kills me because when I chowed through to the crust, where everything was cooked correctly, it was PERFECT. That's why I'm conflicted because the crust was FIRE; airy, fluffy, perfect everything tasted spot on but they effed up the cook through. I respect how challenging it is to master the delicate balance of that PERFECT THICK CRUST and some how magically making the center perfect too. I've had it and it's like a unicorn of pizza but I've also encountered this rawness so many times which is why I typically stay away from these types but I had gone to BELO a few nights prior which was terrible so I figured this spot could make up for it and it sure did but the raw dough really made me sad because this could've been a 5 star spot and I do want to go back though in disguise because I don't want them to spit on my pie for the 3 stars but I do want to revise this post, round 2, to 5 stars.

One item was a cheesesteak. Seems simple, right? Well, ordering a meat item with a vegan cheese was waaaay too much for her. Literally couldn't wrap her head around it, we had to explain it like she was from another country. After a few minutes, we threw the complication of putting mushrooms on it. No mushrooms came on the cheesesteak, but tons of unordered peppers and onions. The person who got it in our party took ten minutes to make sure the onions and peppers were off, but even then, the flavor was so peppery and onion-y that you couldn't taste the already small amount of steak. But the kicker was the pizza order. Getting a large pie, we began telling the topping we wanted...only to get like four ingredients into the list to suddenly, rudely, be told they don't do that many toppings, it will ruin the pizza. (Scooby Doo head shaking WHAAA?!) Holy sacrificing your profit margin , Batman! Aren't they in business to sell what the customer wants? Couldn't find a way to maybe put the extra stuff we wanted on the side, then we could put it on later? It's mind boggling that the owners and managers don't put some kind of warning about that...seems like then you'd have a fallback for that occurring...but whotf does that, on any level? I guess the crust crumbles if too many toppings are chosen. The food is good, kinda unique. That said, so is having someone being rude in a service-oriented job. Read the other reviews, this feels to be a common element in people's experiences. Five stars for food, one for the multiple times (three different) I've had this happen here. Three overall seems fair, if not generous.

The buratta cheese melted on the hot cutlet. The veggies were fresh. It also came with additional salad greens, Cherry tomatos halved and onion. It took almost 15 minutes for my sandwich and twenty for my brother's shrimp scampi dish. Well worth the wait. As I said cooked from scratch.
