Food was great up on the terrace and a nice place to watch the band from. We would come back here again . Why not five stars ? My water went empty for a bit while my husbands second old fashioned was attended to promptly . I get it. Restaurants don't make money off of water. Shrug . Not gonna lose my mind over it.

First time this restaurant in the new Eastport area of the villages. All I can say is well. Our meal was absolutely delicious. Service was wonderful. Find dining at its best. Everyone in our table had a different cut of meat. They were all melted in your mouth delicious. I love when you go out to eat and everything isn't rushed upon you perfectly timed from appetizer to dessert. Can't wait to come back again.

I so wanted this review to have more stars however it is not to be. I was looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate Christmas Eve and didnt want to drive to Orlando and with all the hype for this newly upscale local restaurant I made reservations. Very easy to navigate on their website. Beautiful decor and was seated quickly in a half booth with view of the outside area of the restaurant and this is where things go awry. It took aproximately 10 minutes for any server to greet us and let us know they would be with us shortly or order drinks. The assistant waiter Hannah came by ad filled our water glasses then our server Chase finally came to the table. Either he did not want to be working on Christmans Eve or he has the personallty of a wet noodle. A tray of meat is presented to each table for review of the cuts of meat available and complimentary fresh hot bread basket with butter is served. We ordered the Surf & Turf and the Filet & Shrimp Fondue. - Surf & Turf - while the wagyu ribeye was cooked to medium rare it had a char taste to it which ruined the flavor of the wagyu, the lobster was not buttery but overcooked and rubbery, the baked potato was barely warm could not even melt the butter or cheese on top and the asparagus also had a char taste - total disappointment in this entree and yes I did bring this up to managment but their only solution was to remake the entire dish, who needs 2 of an already ruined dinner. - Fiet & Shrimp Fondue was cooked was cooked perfectly and only complaint was the baked potato again barely warm - - Pseudo Hugo - this drink is non alcoholic and not sweet at all, very prominent lime & mint flavor, this drink was not for me even after I added simple syrup and ordered a Shirly Temple which was very weak in grenadine flavor and no Cherries in the drink at all. Not sure if it was the restaurant being newly opened or Christmas Eve but it was not a great experience and maybe willing to try again in a few months when the restaurant has been open longer in the mean time I will go back to FMK's other higher end restaurant Chop House.

Celebrated our grandparents 90th and 95th birthdays at the newest FMK location in Eastport! Prime and Ember is now open serving delicious steaks, seafood & cocktails! We had exceptional service and the restaurant is absolutely stunning with very clean bathrooms. I would recommend substituting a different side for the rice as it was very bland and hard. Ambiance is 5, beautiful restaurant Service is 3.5, they brought out our dinner entree while we were still eating our salads, waiter apologized and said he dropped the food order too quickly Food is 3, so so disappointing. For this price point and to be a signature restaurant I truly expect a higher quality of food. My husband ordered 8 ounce filet mignon with shrimp and scallops and the portion was poor , the shrimp were 2 shrimp and so so small and the scallops were about the size of a dime and quarter respectfully.... Not quality at all. I ordered NY strip and that was excellent. The sides are not served family style and come on your plate as a regular side dish, the carrots, asparagus and mushrooms were so so basic.... I could have made a better meal at home. The Baked Potato was stellar ! BIG and perfectly cooked. I love fine dining and this IS NOT that type of food experience even when the bill for 2 people is $250 plus tip, $300 Prime&Ember Definitely missed the mark. I have dined twice in dining room and will NOT do this again BUT I will try The Terrace for rooftop drinks and lite bites as I have not done The Terrace yet. I really wish Prime& Ember can do better , we need a high end dining experience in TV

We were excited to try out this new restaurant. I suggest reservation since this is a hotspot right now Arrived about 15 minutes early and the hostess informed me that tonight was the lucky night that the rooftop called "The Terrace" opened..... and she pointed me in the direction of the elevator and said I could wait there for the rest of my party and check it out. She would send a text when the table was ready. Beautiful establishment, nice elevator, gorgeous rooftop lounge. There was a hostess at the elevator that told me to go outside and sit anywhere open so I went out the doors and sat down. Two different waitresses came by and provided me with a menu for the rooftop so of course I had to explain we had a table downstairs we were waiting for. Then found out where we were sitting was reserved. Moved to another spot another waitress came by and told us that was reserved which left us standing up so why in the world were we directed to go to the rooftop? I'm not sure. We felt like ping-pong balls which should not happen in a fine dining restaurant like this. Went back downstairs to the original hostess, who said our table was ready, but we never got a text. We were seated in a booth and we're lucky to have a wonderful waiter who really seemed to know what was going on. He brought us a tray of the selection of meats to look at and explained each one ....everything was grass fed steaks. we ordered the French onion soup to start with, which was amazing, The best I've ever had. I ordered the Tide and Timber which was a 6 ounce filet and three Parmesan crusted shrimp with garlic, mashed potatoes and asparagus. We were provided with fresh hot garlic rolls and butter. Delicious! Service was on the ball. Our food came in about 20 minutes, which was pretty fast considering it was a full house on a Wednesday evening. The menu is amazing and I think once they work out the kinks it'll be even better. I will be back to try other things.

    Outside of the restaurant.

We had an excellent dinner at the newest FMK restaurant in The Villages--Prime & Ember in Eastport. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service was pleasant and efficient. Our Chardonnay was beautifully chilled and the bread warm and tasty. My crab-topped grouper was melt-in-your mouth good as were my carrots and loaded baked potato. My hubby loved his shrimp pappardelle. I only wish we'd had time for dessert! Next time. I hope this restaurant can keep up their excellent standards.

So when I say that this steakhouse is among the best meals I've ever eaten I am saying quite a lot. Honestly, I only ate here because I had a gift card, but I will be returning over and over again because meals do not get any better than this. Let me explain. From the moment you walk in your treated with incredible courtesy. Every member of the staff, whether they are waiting at you or just walking by make eye contact and make you feel valued just for being there. The ambience of the restaurant is typical steakhouse, but it is quite elegant as can be seen in the pictures. The tables are set beautifully, but still, I can't get over how good the service is considering the number of people at the restaurant. Other fine restaurants should experience an evening here to learn how to do it right. But at a steakhouse ir comes down to two things. The quality of the steak and how it is prepared. Here is where they excel. Every cut of meat is among the best. Not simply top cuts but carefully selected to be exemplary. And each steak is treated in a way that you would expect something so valuable to be prepared. They are cooked perfectly, but not just temperature. The balance of seasoning adds to, but never overpowers the flavor of the delicious meat that they are serving. We start our meal with the crabcakes, not your typical crabcakes which are heavily into the breading and minimally into the crab. These are wonderful cakes of crab prepared, unique and beautiful way, which was just so tasty that I was thrilled that I had ordered it. They brought over some complementary meatballs, which also were stellar. But the main event was the steak and as previously stated, it was just delicious. Clearly among the best I've ever eaten even a place ranked as the top steakhouses in the world. Clearly, the people that do the rankings didn't drop in here. Because we were celebrating a birthday, they gave us a complementary dessert. Nothing fancy, but we were not going to eat dessert anyway having filled up on a wonderful meal. Perhaps next time. This is the type of place where you are already looking forward to next time as you are even getting ready to walk out the door. Loved it and highly recommend.

Firstly, the complimentary cordial valet that greets you driving up is a perfect touch. It starts you off feeling well attended and pampered. Good job! All Staff are both formal (tux!) and friendly. They are swift, Helpful and with great attention to detail. I broke a wine glass & they were all over it in a moment, like it never happened! And apologized to ME?! We love our steakhouses for special occasions, so this is a definite yes in our list. We decided to choose an app to share, two entrees & one side. We got a crab cake app (fabulous), 4 complimentary meatballs (also delish!), side of au gratin corn flake top potatoes, 24 oz bone in ribeye and 8 oz filet mignon, butterflied. ALL great! Our table shared the Asian Seared Ahi Tuna - Sesame crusted grade A tuna seared rare, sliced over seaweed salad with wasabi, pickled ginger garlic teriyaki glaze & Chinese white sauce which was great. I had to try the Crispy BBQ Pork Belly - Slow roasted sweet & spicy pork belly glazed with house BBQ sauce over sautéed red onion with scallion & julienne pickled ginger, which was a little different than expected. It was more dry and less fatty for an appetizer like this and as unexpected as it was, I actually liked it that way. I also mananged a chicken dumpling soup that was on special. Wow! I could have made a meal out of this one. Heavy, almost like a chowder. I split the main with someone else at the table. We turned the special blackened mahi mahi and the 16oz Boneless Prime Ribeye - Tender, rich & juicy with an extremely smooth texture. Removed from the bone for easy carving, this robust flavored steak eats like butter, into a surf and turf for the both of us. The sides were shared as well. Steamed Broccoli Florets, Smashed Yukon Gold Potatoes, Sweet Potato Fries Drizzled with Honey, and Bacon Roasted Brussels Sprouts. All of which were amazing. It was a lot of food. Took about half home and I believe it was actually great value for the price. For a place in a strip mall that looks like nothing much from the outside, I really enjoyed the complete experience here. Sometimes places that are a little further out of the way end up with higher ratings based on their surroundings. Here, I believe that is not the case and this is a fair rating across the board.
