For the second year in a row we made reservations for the restaurants fixed menu for Valentine's Day. My rule is NOT to go out for Valentine's Day however for this restaurant I make an exception. Again we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and served at the appropriate temperature for each of the courses. While we didn't partake of the wine pairing this year (we did last year) I would highly recommend it! Some of presentations were inconsistent but didn't take away from the flavor of the food ( I.e. lobster course one person didn't get butter, risotto course one person don't get asparagus etc.) Our server was Phil. While he was very nice and respectful he seemed flustered and overly busy. We would have liked additional cocktails before our main meal however we weren't asked often. Water glasses were only filled twice. Last year our waitress clean dishes away as soon as glasses were empty and cleaned crumbs from the table before the next course was served. We love the look of the restaurant. This year there were 6 of us. While we appreciated that we were off on our own the area was directly across from the kitchen so there was a lot of activity and it was hard to hear some of the conversation. While I don't have a picture of my filet it was delicious and cooked perfectly. When we had coffee do dessert they all came out at different eat times, we had to wait for cream for one coffee and the cappuccino was served after the dessert came because the "machine was warming up?!?" Which was never explained until it was delivered to us. Our bills came and the bar tab was a little different than we were expected. For example my Cosmopolitan was a 2 line entry with the liquor (grey goose) one item and the Cosmo ($4?) a second line item. We look forward to going back again and hope to have a similar experience next time as we did the first time we went for Valentines. read more

We went on a Wednesday and we didn't have to have a reservation, which was nice. Give yourself a couple hours because nothing's really rushed, which is a nice feeling. The food was amazing steaks perfectly cooked. I had no complaints whatsoever. Will be back. read more

I've been looking forward to a date night or special occasion in order to try this restaurant, especially since there aren't any upscale dining options in Leesburg. The appearance and environment is very lovely. Unfortunately, the service and food needs improvement. I visited this restaurant for my daughter's birthday. We were greeted by the hosts/ two owners, and they were very kind and informative. Once seated, our waiter and a trainee waiter came over; this is where is experience began to decline. We had to ask about menu items and the "Ladies Night" special. After they brought over the drinks and apps, they didn't come back again to check on the table or see if we'd like more drinks (they only came over when bringing out items or making orders). The food could use some flavor and more/less seasoning. The calamari was great! Very good... and my sister enjoyed her salmon. However, the rest of my party of 5 didn't enjoy their meals: the beef skewers had a strong vinegar taste; the potato croquettes and fried shrimp were salty; my chicken piccata didn't have any flavor, even after adding lots of salt and pepper (it tasted like butter and pasta; limited capers); and the complimentary bread was good, but they brought out one small basket for a larger party. I dont think I will return, especially if that was the service for a birthday. I recently had a wine tasting dinner with a good friend at Prime 3 Steakhouse in Leesburg, Florida. The evening featured a lineup of Spanish wines--mainly Rioja--which set a warm, relaxed tone from the start. We kicked things off with calamari, which was a pleasant surprise: crisp, flavorful, and paired with a dipping sauce that actually had some thought behind it. Off to a good start. The service? Top notch. Our server was genuinely attentive without being overbearing, and the owner even came out to personally introduce each wine we were tasting. That kind of engagement really adds to the experience. For my entrée, I went with the ribeye. It was... fine. Not bad by any stretch, but not the standout I was hoping for either. I added some chimichurri and paired it with a side of pasta in a butter sauce, which--surprisingly--was the star of the plate. I sampled a few bites from the other entrees at our table and would call them solid but not extraordinary. The vibe of the place was warm and laid-back. And here's a unique twist: they've got a piano in the dining room, and as a pianist myself, I was lucky enough to play a couple songs. Big props to the staff for being cool with that--it really made the night memorable. Final take: Good wine, friendly staff, decent food, and a cool atmosphere. Third time there...very Light crowd, so no reason for bad service and bad food. It was my wifes birthday dinner and I have never written a bad review for any restaurant, but third time is the charm for this place. Service was slowwww. They brought out wrong food, I ordered the pork chop and got a filet, wrong order, nobody there. They asked how I wanted my chop cooked, I said done but not dried out (165 f for pork please) they optioned to send all food back so we would not have to eat separate. After a lengthy wait, manager came to the table and said half off, free desert and sorry for the problems....no half off, wifes free birthday desert was a postage stamp brownie. Went there last Tuesday. My daughter loves it here and wanted us to go. We had muscles as an appetizer they were great. Perfectly cooked. The main course came. My husband had 2 lobsters tails, garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. His lobster was cooked perfectly, mashed potatoes were nasty and asparagus were very big. I had filet mignon with a lobster tail mashed potatoes and asparagus. My filet (which was cooked med rare) was tough and had no flavor, mashed potatoes nasty and asparagus to big. For the amount of food we got the price was not worth it. Service was good. The hostess had more personality than the server. We chose to sit outside the tables need tightened very shaky had to move ourselves to another table so we would be able to cut our food. Won't be returning. read more

Glad we came back for another dining experience. Our Server Callie was great, very professional. Food was delicious, our friend said it was the best they have had in a while. 2 had the Pork Chop special. 1 had the Twin Lobster Tails and the other had the Samon topped with crab. Especially liked the extras you only get at a fine dining establishment, sorbet to cleanses the palate and lemon with warm towels to clean your hands after the meal. Fantastic! Everything about this place screams classy. I love the way they fixed up the interior without taking away from the historic building. Our server was warm and friendly. Made reservation for Mothers Day on opentable. At no point was prime ever published. Showed up and the menu was a foxed menu with the price set at $110 per person- outrageous ! We looked on open table no price, Prime 3 website no price and even the menu the day of had no price. Sorry but this is a complete rip off ! Bruschetta as an app was ok but expected more for the cost. Two people at our table returned the French onion soup as it was s salty it was almost inedible. Lobster bisque was very good though, Main course selection was average and food matched that, very average. Vegetables were under good, steaks were cook to temperature though. Desert was good but was obviously an off site made cheesecake. Service was very poor with us being hurried through first course and then sitting for over 30 minutes waiting on desert. Piano player was a nice touch and made our guest feel special. Owner sat at bar drinking wine and was not mingling with guests as I'm sure the super inflated cost was going to be an issue for everyone. One and done for us, will never return. read more

Visited March ordered steak filet cut. It was not very tender and tasted like liver. Complained to waiter to tell the chef. Said he would tell chef but he never came Nor offered another idea or to address my disappointment with my meal. I was optimistic trying Prime 3. The offerings cover a range of options that anyone can find something they like and the side options are equally diverse. I dined with my wife and another couple. We made a 7pm reservation but arrived early and were seated at 640PM. We first ordered drinks, I asked for a glass of Roquefort Bordeaux, which was on the menu offered by the glass. The server brought a different offering, stating they didn't have a Bordeaux by the glass. I showed her it was on their menu, to which she did admit her mistake. The wine she brought, Burnside Road, was enjoyable, light in body with a nice fruit flavor. It was $12 per pour. I will agree with a comment on another review, "skimpy pour." As an appetizer, we ordered their calamari fritti $15. It took easily over an hour from the time we ordered before our appetizer arrived this should have been a warning of things to come. I did not enjoy the seasoning of the calamari and feel it was over fried. I believe the batter had black peppercorn added, which just offset the flavor enjoyment of the appetizer for me. With how long it was taking for the appetizer to arrive, we actually had to request bread which given the wait should have been offered by the server. Our dinner no embellishing because of the length of our wait for our appetizer we began paying attention took two hours from the time we were seated. I have never waited that long to be served a main. I ordered the 16 Oz prime rib, $48. I very seldom will use au jus or horseradish when I order instead preferring to enjoy the full flavor of the prime rib, this however was nothing other than cooked prime rib, it lacked flavor as though no preparation had been performed in the meat, no seasoning, nothing. Sadly, I have enjoyed more flavorful prime rib in chain restaurant establishments. The portion was generous and temperature was cooked to order. I just wish the flavor had justified the price. The server, Heather was the saving grace of our experience at Prime 3, despite her initial slipups with the wine and not offering bread to hold us over until our appetizer arrived, she was attentive, apologetic for our wait and continued to check if we needed anything and updated on how much longer we would have to wait. We were offered a complimentary dessert for the wait we experienced. My wife and I accepted their offer and tried the Strawberry Short Waffle. Creative, a shortbread Waffle. We did enjoy the dessert. Clever thinking, sweets always put a smile on people's faces. We arrived to a full house at around 640 and were the last to leave 3 hours later. As if the wait for our food weren't bad enough, proverbial salt in the wound came in the form of IT issues at checkout. They use iPads and Square to pay. From the sounds of the ensuing discussion, the server had the wrong iPad so we were further inconvenienced while that issue was resolved and then the Square device and tablet weren't communicating. These issues delayed our inevitable escape. I might consider this an isolated incident and give Prime 3 another try but wouldn't go until after spring when Snowbirds return up north and I def wouldn't order the prime rib again. read more

We are from VA and wanted to take my parents out to a nice place. We found this place on Google. We were very happy with the atmosphere and menu. Our server was very kind and helpful! Our charcuterie board was "ok". We order these everywhere and miss more carbs in it ( not garlic chips), my steak was good but my husbands prime rib was not hot. Our experience was over 3 hours which would be good for us but for my parents was too much.... they can't sit that long. If we lived here we would revisit. read more

We had a late lunch at Prime 3. It took about 10 minutes for an employee to appear in the dining room and escort us to a table. After that, service was excellent. All three of us ordered the turkey sandwich with bacon and cranberry chutney. We all enjoyed the sandwiches. Fries were cooked perfectly. There is an extensive wine list. The wines tend to be pricey. The interior is quite lovely with beautiful ceilings. It has an old fashioned feel. Overall we felt pleased and will likely return for lunch, even though the table cloths don't come out until dinner time. Well the prices were very high $57 for a filet My husband got the NY strip medium rare and it was cooked right but dry and grisly cut. We have had better steak at Texas Roadhouse! You supposedly get two sides with dinner and my husband got the medley veg and asked for marinated mushrooms which they ADDED $4 charge for which I thought was absurd!! Was great and my prime rib cooked medium rare. It had some fat but that is needed for the beef to be graded as prime. Lower grades are choice, commercial and two lower grades. It's the corn which fatten's them up and makes it tender. All at our table was very satisfied with their choice. If you want a top shelf food experience in Lake County this is your stop. The food and menu takes inspiration from an iconic steakhouse that used to be opened in Leesburg (Vic's). Ingredients are top notch. The Grouper fromage is a phenomenal dish that I've never been able to find cooked in a similar fashion anywhere else. Prime rib has never let me down here. Went on a Monday night and while it was a little busy (not full) there wasn't any turnover which exacerbated the inadequacies of the poor service. The ambience and cocktails I had were good. The table side Caesar salad was excellent and the French onion soup was good. The steaks were good but expensive. One person had the meatballs with spaghetti and could only eat the meatballs with the sauce scrapped off. Another person had a side of spaghetti and took one bite and couldn't eat anymore. The General Manager came to the table and had the audacity to tell us that many people have complained about the sauce and he will have to talk to the executive chef about it. The drinks and meal took forever to come to the table. The topper was the bill for my wife and I. $175 is way too expensive for the experience. read more

he Good: Beautiful place, nice staff high-class atmosphere. I give them props for bringing this type of fine dining to downtown Leesburg. I loved that we got a complimentary sorbet to clean or palet before the main course, a very nice touch. I also really enjoyed their finely curated wine list and the complimentary warm bread with dipping sauce. The meat is also top-notch very very good cuts of meat. The Not-so-Good: Value just didn't seem there. We ordered bruschetta for $16 as an appetizer and we got 4 pieces of 1.3-inch slices of bread with tomatoes on top. It was very good but I can't seem to get over the amount we received for the price. We also ordered tostones but received only 1 in a little bowl of beans. For the entree, we ordered churrasco and chicken parm. The rice and beans were good but the chicken parm and the steak lacked flavor. I absolutely can't stand when these places think they are Michelin star restaurants. Tiny portions, big price. Ceaser salad was exactly 4 half leaves of romaine. The dressing was homemade. Slightly acrid. The chicken I added to it was not the best, it was breast/rib meat with the gristle. $38+ for a side salad and a glass of plonk. Grrrr. read more
