This is probably my favorite burger joint. And I have been to plenty. All homemade the burgers, sauces, fries. Amazing I love the short rib poutine, the ultimate grilled cheese, the tomato jam is to die for. Get extra of it I have tried the turkey burger there bomb. The fries are cut in-house n the sauce that comes with it omg ask for the fry sauce. You won't be using ketchup. Lol Make some room dessert the super duper milkshakes are incredible. I actually got the Oreo supa dupa. Amazing so thick has to use a spoon. And my friend had the brownie sundae , in-house made brownie you will never taste anything like that before. Wonder if I can buy a tray of that. Ask for Jonathon he was our waiter and Rose made our shakes she's amazing, btw the shakes are individually made not Premade n frozen, can be made to your liking. Loved it!!! Super cute vibe. I had the Tex Mex burger without a bun ( no carbs) Didn't even miss it!!! There meat combo I is fantastic! My husband had the meatless burger & said it tasted just like meat. MAC & Cheese with breadcrumbs on top, delish!!! Great waitress! Super friendly. We had been to prime burger when they first opened and it was a fantastic burger cooked to Perfection and my only complaint was the 7 fries They gave you! When I asked for the check the server wanted my honest opinion and honestly I was happy enough with the burger to refrain the small Portion of fries. The server said they had gotten the same comments from others and it would be addressed, well this afternoon a friend wanted a burger and I explained how delicious primeburger was but I actually went a second time and they overcooked it but that happens so lets give it a shot. First we heard how there now consider the best on long Island. We placed our orders, 2 cheese burgers with fries and coleslaw on a soft bun. What we got was two small burgers on stale bread and shredded cabbage with no Dressing. Once again the concerned server asked how it was and my reply was, ok! She wanted me to explain so I did. She clearly pointed out how the coleslaw often disappoints and grabbed the manager explaining to him this issue needs to be addressed, i also pointed out the buns Were stale and hard and he said he was told the same thing last night! How if you are aware of these issues would you continue to disappoint your customers? He told thankyou for giving him the heads up and walked away. We received a 10% discount on a terrible meal Which didn't even cover the Shredded dry slaw that wasn't eaten and they still Charged us for. We won't Be going back as we only had one good meal out of three and it has been a steady decline! read more

I don't like to give only three stars but the dinner we ordered tonight was nothing like the reviews. I know it's hard now with only take out as an only option but I was far from impressed. We ordered 5 build your own burgers and cheesy Mac and bacon and a giant pretzel. One of the burgers was a bacon bacon burger. The burger came with not one piece of bacon! The cheese was almost invisible and the burger was extremely dry. All of our burgers were very dry. Some burgers were on pretzel buns. The buns were not fresh they were hard. Mac and cheese was ok. Nothing special and the pretzel was hard as a rock. French fries were good. Everyone enjoyed their fries. This place came recommended and I was very disappointed. Take out is tough but this was unacceptable. Maybe once you can actually sit and dine here things will be different but for now I'll pass. read more

The food at this establishment is absolutely amazing 5 stars all the way. Now as to the guy Michaels review I happen to be regular at the restaurant and happen to be sitting near the older gentlemen and the jersey shore guy ( with full head of hair ) the older gentleman is a regular and one of the nicest guys who is absolutely harmless he is funny guy who doesn't mean anything he says and has a great relationship with the bartender working at that time. Talk about someone like that is absolutely disgusting because especially if you heard the whole thing like you claim you would of saw they know each other and it's nothing personal. Tried Prime Burger Bar for the first time tonight. Started with chicken wing appetizers. Asked for them crispy, when they arrived they were not what we asked for. Jess the bartender who happened to be attentive, recognized we were not happy. Immediately ran over to us and asked if everything was ok? We said we don't want the wings. She went in the back and then the manager JP came over and rectified the problem immediately. They came out better and were perfect. I ordered the tex mex salad with grilled chicken, my friend ordered kobe beef burger on a pretzel bun. We both loved our entrees. Jess & JP saved the day. Hit this place for a quick bite after reading about it in Newsday. Cool little place, met Ed, one of the owners who welcomed us in and told us to let him know if we needed anything. Seated right away, waitress was very nice. Burgers were great (I had Bacon on Bacon, wife had Mac and Cheese burger) and fries were outstanding (love the garlic aioli). Also grabbed a chocolate milkshake which was also really good. Ed asked us what we thought on way out, stopped and talked for a few minutes. Went to this establishment on 11/12/19 and had great time with the bartender Nick, who is definitely a good guy to chat with and makes one hell of a Moscow Mule. The staff was really friendly compared to Bleachers and Bantry Bay. I was too full to have any food but would return to try it soon. I had won a $25 gift card from a Facebook group for this place... I took my mom here for Mother's Day. The server was very friendly but maybe a little pushy when it came to add on ordering (ie desserts/shakes). My mom & I are used to ordering French fries well done. All I can advise is DO NOT ORDER YOUR FRIES WELL DONE HERE. The fries were literally so burnt, when I first saw them, I thought we were given sweet potato fries. There's a difference between well done & literally hard/burnt fries bc what were given, they were inedible which was extremely disappointing bc whatever white sauce came with them was good. We should've sent the fries back, but didn't. The breakfast burger itself was good, nothing special imo. What was really strange is that the last 4-6 bites of the burger all of a sudden got very salty (I didn't add any salt or pepper). Would I return? Maybe, but I wouldn't be rushing back. read more

Hi, Im back! The Covid has kept us in lock down but the promise of good food and accommodations can't keep us away. We visited the PBB after seeing the joint showcased on News 12. Let me preface my comments by saying the "Covid" restrictions placed on bars and restaurants may be the blame for methods or procedures followed by the businesses, not the normal way they do things. We entered a dimly lit bar area and was seated at a (low) table opposite the bar itself. The view of other people's asses sitting at the bar was not going to compliment anything we would order. High top tables would be a better choice. The room was dark with tables spread out to allow for distancing and the 33% rule. It was rather loud, speakers were ubiquitous throughout the room, making it difficult to hear each other across the table as well as the staff. Two waitresses came to the table to take our drink order, then realized we did get a drink menu. They both ran to get one, only to return to explain "there out of them", so we just ordered drinks. Our appetizer order was taken quickly, along with our entree order. Apps returned quickly. The large pretzel was "large" ,very good. I had soup, it was hot and just okay ( no oystereetts or crackers were offered). While in the mist of conversation and our appetizers the entrees arrived...now the table was covered in plates " tins" and now we felt rushed to get thru our apps or the entrees would get cold. The waitresses returned as we began with the burgers to take our dessert order. I asked her to slow down...lets get thru the burgers first. The burgers were very good, nice size, seemed fresh. However, the fries sucked! The "house cut" fries sounded good...but they kitchen staff killed them. We asked for well done fries, crispy fries. They were soggy and dripping with oil. Not sure if they were in fact house cut or not, appears the came from a frozen bag. So on to desert...we ordered the "chipwhich" sunday/shake. It took awhile for it to arrive, which was fine considering its lager and needs to be made...plus the rush thru apps and entrees. The pause was needed. The desert lady approached with what appeared to be our order and continued past us to another table placing the order down. The patrons at that table waved off the desert indicating its not their order....they had just sat for dinner. The order was then removed and delivered to us. Never in my years have I seen food delivered in error to one table removed and taken to another. THAT JUST NOT DONE IN THE RESTAURANT INDUSTRY. While we social distance, our food is past around. The desert lady laughed while saying she can't find her way around the numbered tables..I think there were 6 tables in the room. As we ate we saw her do it again...she took and order to the bar, meant for a table. We could hear the table guests question her about the mistake...they were not pleased. I've rambled on more they planned so in closing let me say more, this is a BAR, not a restaurant. The burgers are very good, the sides need tweaking. Someone in the kitchen knows what their doing! The fault in this joint in the front if the house...no one seems to understand what they do...they seemed very busy but busy at just looking busy. Training is the most important in the service industry, this place needs it, that is, if they want to a food establishment. As a bar....they're fine. A beer and a burger at the bar they can most likely pull off. Other reviews reference and bartender with a crappie attitude...if the guy on last night was the "guy", the reviews were correct. This guy didn't want to be there and couldn't be bothered. I could see that from the low table. Thats bad! I'll end this by repeating, the burgers were good...the staff was trying but appear to lack training. The front of the house is hurting the "BAR" You decide! read more
