I got a bacon burger with fries delivered and it was fast & delicious & I'll do it again.

I gave them a 4 because every other time I have been there it has been just perfect, but tonight they were a little off. First of all, there was a table of 6-7 year olds when you first walked in and they were screaming so loud (and the parents did NOTHING). That is neither here or there, and definitely not the restaurants fault but after my failed massage across the street that was the last thing I wanted to hear. I ordered some dinner to take home to the wifey. I order two prime burgers with cheese and other various toppings. I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries and a chocolate shake. The girl behind the counter gave me me a number and I went to have a seat until my order was ready. After receiving my food and returning home, I was super excited to pull out the food and start eating. oh, and Holy crap batman that was one amazing chocolate shake which I downed on the way home. The burger was just perfect and delicious like always. But the sweet potato fries were horrible. They were so soggy and cold. I could not believe it. It was like they cooked them 4 hours ago and then just let them sit out. I was very disappointed with my fries and will not be getting them again. read more

I work down the road so I figured id try it out after reading decent reviews online. My first experience here: I ordered a Bacon cheddar burger (medium done) with waffle fries. I received an American cheeseburger with a flavorless meet and missing bacon. It's a burger so kinda hard to mess it up but I was disappointed in the taste. Negative -My order was all wrong -The meat was flavorless (no salt no pepper just ground beef) and a small portion -The bun was not even toasted and was cold (did not complement the burger at all) -It was well done (no red what so ever) Good -1 Came out fast -2 Waffle fries tasted good Would not recommend you go to BareBurger right around the corner much better read more

The burger was re-heated (not freshly cooked) as it had no semblance of juice in it whatsoever. the Cheddar cheese was almost melted off the burger by the person manning the grill. The fries were excellent. As always. And they couldn't mess up the fountain drink. But when you have food prepared by people who don't care, this is the result (note: all staff was friendly and polite, just the tall guy didn't seem to be into it). I am a BIG fan of prime. There is a lacking for QSR outside of delis in Ridgefield and Prime has totally filled that void. Their burgers are 9/10 consistent with what I have ordered. The bacons awesome sand super flavorful. I like how many add insult they offer and variants which steps it up from other burger shake joints in the area. The weekly specials are awesome to mix it up. The special sauce is very similar to 1000 Island but hey it's Ridgefield, we love our Cluckin Russians! It's a town staple. Solid 4.5 stars! They once forgot the bacon and I while I forgive them (supered crowded music in the park evening), I never forget the bacon. read more

OK, let's start by setting expectations properly. This is a burger joint, with a very limited menu consisting primarily of burgers, fries, and shakes. It can be crowded during the busy times of the day, and you order from the counter then sit and wait for the food to be dropped, so it is not traditional table service. That said, Prime delivers a good quality burger, that for me, brings up the memory of the diner counter burgers I used to get forty years ago, or circa 1975 Friendly's (before it went to hell in a fast-food hand basket.) This is a simple burger place (burgers, fries, salads, shakes) but what's great is that they have burgers for ever dietary need. Veggie burger, turkey burger, salmon burger, chicken burger and of course hamburgers, too. My dining partner loved his beef burger with bacon but wished it was bigger. Above and beyond for us! We recently had an event with 20 people and the food truck we originally booked cancelled at last minute. We called prime burger at 8:00 AM on Saturday morning, 4 hours before the event, and Anthony saved the day! He hooked us up with burgers, dogs, veggie burgers, fries and LOTS of extras. I'll start with the positive: the prices aren't bad for a fresh cooked burger in downtown Ridgefield. Simple, easy to understand menu. Otherwise the place has a weird vibe. The server taking my order didn't seem to want to be there. The lighting was dim for a place full of windows. I appreciated not having to hover around a counter to wait for my order but once it was ready it was plopped on my table with no sentiment. I don't need a lengthy diatribe about how much this meal might change my life but a smile will do. As mentioned in other reviews, you can't order how you'd like your burger. The burger itself wasn't bad, it was juicy and seasoned well. The establishment was very clean and the ordering system was very easy to understand. It just needs a good infusion of love. There are other places in town that just have friendlier staff and are brighter and cheerier that I can go to when the call of the burger hits again. read more

So, I'm in Danbury, CT on business this week. I've had some delicious meals every night and topped it off tonight with an awesome burger at Prime Burger in Ridgefield. It is the best burger I've had in a very long time. ( and I eat a lot of burgers!). The quality and flavor of the beef was damned near mouth watering! The fries were great and the shake was smooth and creamy - probably one of the best shakes I've ever had. The place has a nostalgic feel to it, the staff is friendly and I even had a chance to chat it up with the owner. One of my goals this week was to find a great burger. Mission accomplished! My son, who is picky about his burgers, always finishes his burger here because they're so tasty. Every week there is a special on the menu, be sure to check it out. My wife and I stopped in here while wandering around town last Saturday. I had been in the mood for a good burger for a while, and the other reviews here said I could probably trust it. We ordered a couple of burgers and split the waffle fries and a shake. The burgers were excellent, the bun was perfect, the patty had the right thickness and toppings, and the bacon on mine was just right. With the number of toppings they have available, you'll be pretty well set.
