Not many places have crunchy fried mushrooms to go thru the drive thru . Mushrooms made to perfection

It's hard to find a restaurant buisness that has good fried crunchy mushrooms done to perfection and you can get to go thru the drive thru . I came for the mushrooms today but I've had there burgers , good quality and a GREAT PRICE !!

    Prime Bowl - Delicious!
    Erica G.

I'd been eyeing this location for some time since I heard it was open and I finally stopped by their drive-thru today to check it out. I ordered the prime bowl and loved it! I see people have said they've had to wait for their food, but let's be honest, real fresh food takes time! However, I didn't really wait all that long. My bowl was so good! The first layer is crinkle cut fries, then some mac & cheese, and then topped with a ton of delicious juicy crispy chicken and yummy sauce. I ordered the medium spice level and it had a nice kick. Everything was piping hot and fresh and all seasoned so well! I didn't even bother waiting to get home and ate in my car. Definitely coming back!

    Chicken Two Sliders

Went in the drive thru and ordered the chicken sliders and breakfast burrito! Both served at 11am :) I have gotten the chicken sliders before because it's a great value! Two sliders and two fries with a drink! I usually save my other slider for later. My first time trying the bacon breakfast burrito! It was delicious! Eggs, hasbrown, bacon, and cheese and the burrito was toasted on the outside, which was a nice touch! The salsa is a bit runny, but very tasty!

    Breakfast

Was very excited to try Prime Burger when I seen it took over the old Tams location. I was disappointed after picking up breakfast one morning. First, we noticed the menus looked like they were AI generated. I know menus can be a bit exaggerated but this seemed overboard. It took extremely long for me to get my food. As you can see, the hash browns are tater tots which were soggy. Pancake looks frozen and store bought. Not much scrambled eggs, and they were a bit burnt and cold by the time we got our food. The breakfast sandwich was decent but not worth the price. Not to mention, the cashier charged us for two combos when we only got one but I was so frustrated from the wait, I left.

This place took over the old Tams/Nicks. Finally we have a great burger spot nearby. Krunch burger is too pricey for what they offer and sometimes way too salty. This place is legit though. And reasonably priced. Prime bowl is the star of the show but the burgers are great too!

I had my first meal at the enchanted indoor garden in Mami Felipa Cocina today…read more Food: The green chilaquiles did not disappoint. They were fresh, crunchy, with ample green tomatillo salsa that was flavorful, making for a very authentic bite. The beans were very good and complemented the chilaquiles perfectly. Authentic Mexican flavors showcased well. Service: The waitress was friendly, attentive, and joyfully answered my questions about the menu. I also asked about the traditional colorful head piece located behind glass next to the register and learned that it is a Chinelo, a traditional iconic carnival character from Morelos, Mexico. It is clear, the restaurant owners are proud of their heritage and are sharing it with everyone. Ambiance: The small but cozy restaurant features an incredibly vibrant, maximalist indoor garden vibe that immediately makes you feel like you are dining inside an enchanted greenhouse. Dense artificial greenery blankets the walls and ceiling. The cozy, casual neighborhood layout is packed with personality, featuring playful multicolored floral tablecloths, festive flags, and unique lived-in accents. It's an energetic setting for a lively meal.

(See attached picture). This restaurant is in such an obscure location, I can't believe I was going to a Burrito Track across the street for so many years not knowing this place existed. Friendly staff and prompt service. The unfortunate negative is it's location and I'm referring to parking. There must be 8 business crammed into this lot. With a bar to the right and a laudermat on its left finding a parking spot is like winning the lotto. Now layer in one driveway and you have to make a 3 point turn just to navigate to leave. The short answer is I will absolutely go back to this place as long as there is a parking space to be had.

For the pickle lovers out there, they have a Dill Ranch and it is absolutely amazing. Burger was very tasty and the fries were seasoned perfectly. Good concept, but way too salty for my taste…read more I really wanted to love this burger because the concept is great. The charred cheese paired with the grilled meat creates a lot of flavor and gives the burger a unique twist. Unfortunately, the overwhelming saltiness completely overshadowed everything else for me. That said, there were several things I did enjoy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated the variety of drink options. The Strawberry Watermelon drink was my favorite. I also liked that they offer multiple dipping sauces for both the fries and burgers. My husband absolutely loved the fries and couldn't get enough of the chipotle sauce. I personally preferred the garlic aioli, and the creamy jalapeño sauce was surprisingly delicious as well--though a little too spicy for me to enjoy more than a taste. Despite my issue with the seasoning, I wouldn't write this place off. I think the burger could be really good with less salt, so we'll probably give it another try and ask if they can go lighter on the seasoning next time.

I went on a taco run yesterday to try to find the best taco in Whittier…read more Started off the run with a keto taco mixed with asada and al pastor and then a regular tripa taco. Keto taco - toasted/grilled cheese instead of a regular tortilla - needed to be done a little more on one side as the cheese wasn't quite toasty enough to stay in place to slightly resemble the shape of a taco. Bit hard to eat, covered my hands in grease. Asada tastes almost boiled, and this being my 2nd or 3rd time getting the Asada here, it consistently tastes like it was boiled and not grilled. Unsure of meat quality or preparation, but there are no grill marks and it's a bit chewy. Same with the al pastor. Tripa taco was bizarre. Strips of flat skin instead of the usual roundish, cylindrical shape of tripa (intestine). Usually a saltier, fattier meat than asada, which is my preference but the one here was lacking in flavor and the texture threw me off a bit. Tripa can be chewy - unless requested extra done, which is how I normally order it - but there was no saving this tripa. I think it needs to be sliced differently, the cuts made it inedible. Brother shared some of his chorizo taco and it was the better of the bunch. Red chorizo, TJ style, although it was also lacking a teeny bit in flavor... onions and cilantro to the rescue! Still, mediocre. Salsas were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think the tortillas were homemade. Service was fine, cashier takes your order, dude at the counter was chill and had a friendly attitude. Seating was limited. Mostly bar style seating but the majority was in front of a window and it had so much heat trapped from the glass that it was kind of uncomfortable. Other seats are too close to the bathroom. Good for a quick bite or just pick-up orders. Wouldn't plan a sit down/dine-in visit. Parking is scarce and has really small spots, wouldn't come if you're driving a pick-up truck or anything like that. Food was reasonably priced, which is good, however; the food was lacking so I would not return.
