Let me be 100% honest and raw. SERVICE: sucks! They are VERY SLOW, molasses, turtle moves...they gave me the wrong food, owner was nonchalant and mean looking. AMBIANCE: dismal at best. The place is in an abandoned shopping center strip. It's very small inside the restaurant. FOOD: so damn GOOD!!! This is my third time there and everything I have had, tasted so good. Get the suya wrap 10/10, wings and fries 10/10, Egusi Soup and pounded yam 10/10. I guess what they say is true. "The worse the service and decor, the better the food." Prime Grill in Laurel DEFINITELY embodies that saying 100%. Want more authentic opinions? Check out my video reviews and more on my various platforms: CocoasJoy

A little hectic when I came in but everything was sorted out quickly. Did an online order, which I suggest doing. Got the famous suya wrap and chicken wings to go. Driving home with the food smelling so good heighten my anticipation. And BOYYY, it did not disappoint. It was flavorful and delicious, what really pulled it together was the sauce that came with it! Definitely will be coming back!

Thoughts: So you heard about this from Tik Tok too hahaha but that Suya Wrap, finally a great Nigerian dish (I want all the smoke lol jk) Food: Grilled Beef Suya Wrap- typically a plate is brought out and a WWE battle royal commences in order to get suya, so it was nice to get my own and I must say that combining it with red onions, tomato, red cabbage and a splash of house sauce makes you suck your teeth and in the good way lol. Very juicy, tasteful and a mouthful to eat- 9/10 Fries- Solid it was not over or under cooked and the sauce(taste like yum yum sauce) was good if you prefer a tangy sweet-7 /10 Service: We walked in and the place was packed and it seemed like we would be waiting an hour like Tik Tok said but it was a smooth 25 minutes, not too bad and it seemed everybody was there for the same thing. You ordered from a kiosk and everybody was in the back and only really came out to announce completed orders and give food out. - 6/10 Ambiance: It has open seats like a restaurant but everything was kind of close. I would say you can eat in but more than likely want to just grab and go, but if definitely had the Afrobeat blasting in the backroom- 6/10 Recommendation: I came just for a Grilled Beef Suya Wrap, I had to make sure that was solid before trying anything else, but yes it was and I will be back -Arnold S. voice I would recommend a solid 8.5/10

Suya suya and suya! My family and I ordered 3 Suya wraps, and two suya platters highly recommend you either order online or call before you go. We waited 30 minutes for our food. This place is currently going viral for their Suya wraps so we decided to give It a try. Suya wrap is worth the hype, the wrap contains a lot of meat, nice spice and ask for suya powder It makes the difference! Suya itself is pretty tough but it's thick cut and full. You get your moneys worth coming here. Ask for more suya powder!

Don't sleep on this place guys. I ordered a suya wrap from this place the other day. Listen! It was so good. And they were generous on the filling too. Can easily be shared. It was that big. Not skimpy at all. It came with a side of fries and dipping sauce. The sauce is very spicy! 5 alarm type so tread lightly. lol. Overall, I would visit again.

Came here only for the suya wrap! The actual wrap is like a 4/5 but just know it tasted so much better after I reheated it in the air fryer. This wrap has SO much meat like they definitely are not stingy with that but it is also twenty dollars so that makes sense. I would've loved more veggie and tomato to give more of a wrap-esque and less burrito. The fries were stale and not fresh. I definitely recommend placing an order before because it takes 20-30 mins for your food to be ready and the restaurant isn't very cozy for waiting. Not sure I would come back but thanks TikTok for the rec!

I have to tell you. The suya wrap is everything! The flavor, the grilled wrap filled with suya, red cabbage, onion, tomato, finished off with a house sauce. It was delicious! Served up with crispy golden fries. This was well worth $20. I'll be back again soon!

I wanted to like this so much! But I couldn't force myself. I stopped by a pretty empty shopping center and decided to try this restaurant out. I paid for Steak & rice with a ginger drink. The jollof rice was the best thing I had. It was seasoned very well. The steak unfortunately was extremely overcooked. The meat was more like jerky in texture, even though the seasoning was flavorful it was really tough to eat. I plan on returning on a weekday, maybe I just went at closing on a Sunday.

The food was delicious, Prime Grill definitely gained another customer. Ordering is a bit confusing as it's self order off two tablets. Suggestion, save some time and order online. I got the famous wrap with the jollof rice which was packed with flavor and hot! The only thing that could be improved is customer service.

Just awful what a waste of calories. It was cold and bland. The fries were stale and had no salt. The wrap tasted like nothing. The restaurant smells bad, feels isolated, and staff and unprofessional. I wouldn't be surprised if they were violating health codes. I've seen uncountable positive reviews raving about this place but they are likely paid. The wrap yes is big but isn't worth the price. The suya isn't good and I've had suya since I was a child from several countries in west Africa. I havent been this disappointed in a restaurant in a while, save your money.

This place lived up to the hype behind all the social media ads I've been seeing for it. I went for the suya wrap and got a side of fries. The first bite I took was heavenly! The flavors and spice of the suya was exactly what I've been craving and I see myself going here again. The only reason they didn't get 5/5 stars is that you have to come here when you have time to waste because the wait will be a while. But the wait is honestly worth it!

The bland sauce didn't help - I don't think they had scotch bonnet simmering in the stew at all - it appeared seasoned but nah just specks on the surface. I'm quite mad as this was dinner and for almost 30$ take-out is egregious work. Also, why are Caribbean spots stingy on the plantains - which aren't expensive - they only gave me 2 pieces. FTR...it would've been more rice & peas but I asked for less (a carb thing).

When I showed up about 3 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready, they had actually just received it on their end. There was some bug going on with the system. I was supposed to be able to pick my protein and whether I wanted a spicy sauce. I was able to make modifications on the spot and thankfully it didn't take long to get what I wanted.... They were out of the initial patty I wanted too. The lady said she was going to contact and see what happened... Hopefully that got addressed. Anyway, I finally got the food, and it wasn't a lot, though I know lunch portions do tend to be smaller. I loved the chicken,. cabbage, and one piece of plantain, but not so much the rice (it was on the drier side). When I'm in the area I'd return though!

Everything on that plate hit. No complaints about the food whatsoever. The space itself is small, clean, and minimally decorated. Nothing fancy, but very well-kept, and I appreciate that. Service was good. The owner personally took care of me and accommodated my request to swap out the rice for extra cabbage with no issue. I always appreciate when owners are hands-on and attentive. Now for the hiccup: the credit card machine wasn't working, so I had to pay via Cash App. Not ideal, but okay. What almost took me out was the attempt to add a service charge. I definitely spoke up because that extra $1? Yeah... it was about the principle. Sheesh. Overall, the positives outweighed the minor inconvenience. The food alone would have me coming back. Usually with brunch we would do the bottomless mimosas and all but because I was driving I decided not to participate in that. And usually I would get chicken and waffles but I was in the mood for a burger. So I thought because their name is "Mad Cow" the burger would be the bomb...but nope it was not good at all. So I prefer a beef burger cooked medium with blue cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onions. When I burger got tot the table it was dry as a board. No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! I tried their punch drink which was really good but for $15 a pop in a regular water glass was ridiculous. Today, I gave them another shot because Uber Eats was offering a buy one, get one free deal on the jerk chicken meal. I chose rice & peas with plantain for my sides. The chicken was cooked on the grill--which I love--because it really brings out the flavor in jerk chicken. I also requested my jerk sauce on the side since I prefer a dry rub style over a saucy one. The only drawback was the small bone pieces in the chicken and rice. That's something to be cautious about, especially if a child is eating the meal. The plantains were also inconsistent--some pieces were hard, while others were mushy. On the bright side, the coco bread was perfect and the Jamaican rum cake was phenomenal. Whoever baked that cake clearly took their time soaking it in rum. It reminded me of the way my grandmother used to make it--absolutely delicious. I would definitely order the rum cake again.

At heart, I'm a man that truly enjoy most Caribbean dishes ( oxtails, goat, curry/jerk chicken,…read moreroti, etc ) So, I set out on a quest to give a new Caribbean cuisine restaurant a shot at winning me over. That's when I bumped into Caribbean Dish... The name got me, yes it's basic, but the title was exactly what I was looking for. The restaurant is in a small unassuming parking lot... if you don't know it's there, you probably will miss it ( so glad I didn't !! ) The minute I walked in, I felt authentic family vibes ( something I look for when choosing my Caribbean locations ) The service was very friendly, and they cleared everything up when I wasn't sure if my particular craving could be fulfilled ( the combo I desired wasn't on their daily menu ) My sights were set on the oxtail and curry goat combo ( of course with rice & peas and veggies ! ) And when I say the goat was tender, and seasoned to perfection... while the oxtails had that juicy meatiness that will for sure keep me coming back. The rice & peas were cooked just right ( texture was on point ) and the veggies still had that freshness that brought everything else together. I love my Caribbean dishes saucy and not dry ( they get two thumbs up in that department ! ) Family vibes, cheerful greeting, and amazing food....
