Extermination was ineffective, no follow up was given, second extermination was pure poison, after8 hrs you could no breathe inside, causing me to go to doctor for intoxication from pesticides. I have contacted several pest control companies who all turned out to be mediocre at best. I wasn't satisfied with any of them so asked around for a referral and God bless I was referred to Ben at Prime Pest Management. Ben made time in his fully booked schedule to go look at my property that's currently rented out. Tenants were complaining of a rat problem. I already paid another pest control company a few months back to take care of the issue but all they did was place traps and didn't solve the inherent issue (locating and blocking entry points so no rats can return, etc.). After Ben inspected the property, he called me that same night and spent over 45 minutes explaining all the details to me and the exclusions that he would do. Unfortunately, I may have a rat in my attic. I contacted Ben from Prime Pest Management and he came out for a visit in the following week. Ben is great; he's so easy to talk to and is so knowledgeable. He took the time and effort (it was a hot day) to walk around the perimeter of our home, go up to the roof via ladder, to show us possible entry points for the rats. He gave us tips on what to buy and how to set up traps. He gave us no pressure, was completely honest with us about pricing with regard to the cost of doing it ourselves or through his company. My family was waking up with all kinds of bug bites, and I was concerned it was possibly bed bugs. However, upon my research, I suspected that was not the case. We cleaned and vacuumed everything in the bedrooms, but we're still waking up with new bites. Our, only option was to call exterminators for an inspection to determine what the bugs were. I recently took over as QA Manager at a Food Processing Plant. We just failed our third party audit, over pest control deficiencies. I've worked at this company for over 5 years and our last pest control company never failed us. The former QA manager hired this company, who's owner used to work for our former vendor; he just cut the price and apparently...the service as well. This company has no back up, no QA department, and no Entomologist - all things that the previous company had. His response time leaves a lot to be desired, not like our last company who would respond the same day and had after hours and weekend support (this company does not). Now I have to battle ownership to change back to the former vendor. I'm not saying this company is "Bad", just ill-equipped to handle a large account like ours. I'm sure this one man operation is great with houses and apartments, but I think they may be over their head in a food processing or warehouse environment. Sometimes the lowest bidder can be costly. I own a duplex property and my back unit tenant suspected they might have a mice issue. I found PPM on yelp and gave them a call. Ben came down and provided a thorough property inspection of both units. Ben informed us we had a few areas of possible entry at plumbing wall holes and a crawl space. I had a bug problem but couldn't locate or identify them. I hired two other companies before calling Prime Pest Management, with both companies misdiagnosing the problem. Ben from Prime Pest Management was able to locate and identify the bugs that had infested my home and sofa, while successfully treating the problem.The sofa needed to be fumigated for several days. Ben wrapped it completely with plastic after fumigating it and came back several days later to remove the plastic and check to be sure the bugs were dead. My landlord paid the bill so I have no knowledge of what the charges were but I would have paid anything to get rid of those nasty bugs. Ben removed staples to my sofa where he found the bugs nesting and then came back after the bugs were dead, removed the dead bugs and stapled the fabric back to the sofa. If I ever need a pest control company again, I would only hire Prime Pest Management and highly recommend this company to anyone who has any bug issues. Ben is pleasant, trustworthy, extremely knowledgeable, professional, arrives on time or even early and perhaps most importantly, is able to locate and identify the problem.
