    Beingets and creme brulee

Visited on a Saturday night with a reservation for 7pm, party of four. Seated closer to 7:25 PM, a bit of a wait in a tight entry. Restaurant is decorated modern, upscale and has plenty of parking. The menu offers a mix of sushi and steakhouse options. We started with the poke crispy rice special, which was good. The pink lady roll had a lot of competing flavors and the sweet chili sauce overwhelmed the tuna. My lychee martini was ice-cold and delicious -- definitely a highlight of the meal. For mains, we tried the porterhouse and the lamb chops. The porterhouse ($149) was decent but underwhelming compared to other steakhouses we've visited. It was disappointing that sauce was not included and instead offered as a $3 add-on -- a bit off-putting given the steak's high price point. The lamb chops were well-seared but could have used more salt, though that's a personal preference. The roasted fingerling potatoes were greasy and lacked flavor - a miss. Dessert fared better. The creme brulee was spot-on -- creamy with a crisp caramelized top. The beignets were good, though the accompanying white chocolate sauce tasted more like a light creme anglaise and lacked the richness expected. Overall, the experience was mixed - we won't be back.

Came here on the last day of restaurant week for LI. Made reservations for 645pm, when we arrived, we waited maybe for 5 minutes and seated. Inside of the restaurant was clean, dim lights, looked classy modern. Our waiter was nice but a bit impatient but I can understand because he looked like he had a lot of tables. Food: We ordered the blue points, filet mignon, braised short ribs, lamb meatballs, crab cakes , dessert we ordered the NY cheesecake and apple crumb (waiter said it was delicious) Also, ordered a old fashioned and lychee mojito which was really good. Lamb Meatballs, Short Ribs, filet Mignon and cheesecake was delicious. However, the crab cakes lacked flavor and were mostly soggy. The Apple Crumb was disappointing and disgusting (waiter lied) I appreciate more if the waiter was truthful, tip would be better than 20%. Overall, I'd come back but I won't go out my way to come here.

Never disappoints. Went today for LI restaurant week and enjoyed it a lot. Have previously gone on non- LI Restaurant week and just as great. Will definitely be returning.

We love this place because they have really good sushi and steak so it's the perfect place for surf and turf night. It is on the price your side so just make sure you know that before you're headed in but it's a perfect place for a date night a big celebration or just to treat yourself The place is super clean and comfortable. They have a lot of seats for big and small parties and the service is very fast and friendly. You can tell they have been trained for a fine dining experiences.

Strike 1: poor service Strike 2: poor food Strike 3: 20% service charge for party of 3. Avoid. Overall : 1.5 stars rounded down to 1 Service: 1 Food: 1 Ambiance/layout: 3 Value: 1 Will I be back? No. Service: Our server was absent. The server adsistant (busboy?) was far more helpful. Food allergy questions/issues unaddressed, even after we asked him to ask the chef. (Note: not expecting anyone to bend over backwards, just tell us what to avoid, let the chef know we share food etc. ) Food: Came here bc was craving a prime rib. Meh. Desert "special" apple crisp was literally horrible. Tastes like bread pudding with some apple. No crisp. Sushi was ok. Overpriced but ok. Ambiance: don't usually care much aboutbambianc except that the tables are well laid out without other patrons on top of you. This was a well laid out restaurant. Plenty of space between seats. Other Was extremely irritated to have a 20% service charge on top of everything.

Arriving for an early Sunday dinner around 4pm, there was only one other table taken with some people at the bar. The vibe is warm,. comfortable and elegant. Servers were friendly and on top of everything. We started with the grilled octopus appetizer and it was delicious. The perfect amount of acidity to get our taste buds going. The octopus was tender, served with gigante beans, cherry tomatoes, yellow peppers and arugula. It all worked so well together. On the weekends they serve Prime Rib; either a Queen or King Cut and served with some veggies and mashed potatoes. We shared a king cut and it was perfect. Wonderfully tender and savory, cooked the way it is meant to be. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were well done as well. For dessert we had the apple Tarte Tatin. It was a large portion and perfect for sharing. Not at all sweet with lovely tender apples. I wish it had been served warmed up, that would have made it even better, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I want to start by saying that I like this place because it has a variety to chose from. The food was good but the service was the best part.

I'm cut down the middle when it comes Primehouse. I've been here a few times and there are times when the food is great and others where it really isn't that good. A few items that were terribly off a few times were the burger and the tuna. I don't like to judge something off of 1 bad experience so I came back and tried it again and it still wasn't good. The Calamari is fantastic though and so is the skirt steak. Service is always top notch, never a complaint there. It gets pretty busy on the weekends so arrive early or make sure you have a reservation. Inside is nice, one of the better interiors in the area. I want to love primehouse so much, but I can't until they fix these small issues on a few of the items on the menu

We came here on Saturday for date night . Our reservations were at 7:15 and we were not seated until 8 it was very busy , however the owner came and brought sangrias for the waiting patrons as an apology and all was forgiven for the long wait ... once we got seated we were giving a bread basket , sadly for 2 people they only had 3 small pieces of bread I felt they could have added more , however once the waiter arrived we placed our order , the appetizer came out with in minutes we ordered the bacon with Korean BBQ glaze it was phenomenal. Our entrees after they took a long time , maybe close to an hour of us sitting there , I order the porter house steak with a baked potato and my husband got the prime rib that came with mashed potatoes, asparagus and carrots... everything was delicious and for dessert we shared the donuts . The price was extremely respectable I would say , there is also a huge parking lot so there's ample parking . Besides the wait this place was perfection and we would definitely come back .

I came here with my family of 8 to celebrate my sister's birthday on a Wednesday afternoon. Our reservation was for 6:30 and the place had a good amount of people but wasn't packed. Pro: some of the appetizer were really tasty such as the Brussels sprout and burrata. The brussel sprouts had a soy/sesame coating that was really good. I ordered the 26oz ribeye and it was tender, juicy and everything you'd want in a steak. Cons: definitely on the expensive side. When we saw the bill, we were not expecting it lol. Also, the thick bacon was on the tougher side and we could've done without it. Overall, I would def recommend this place. The food was really good, the staff were nice and it wasn't a loud restaurant.

I've been to Primehouse many times since their opening and waited this long to review because I needed to amass as much evidence as possible. During the past year I have attended dinner there with friends several times, and each of these times there was the consistency needed to make a fair assessment. Primehouse has a convenient location with ample free parking. One thing I noted when walking in, besides the modern chic decor, was that the music played overhead was freestyle. My inner 80's teenager was thrilled (and for folks who aren't a fan, the volume was perfect--you knew there was music, but you could still talk across the table without shouting and my friends didn't even notice what kind of music it was, I had to point it out to them)! THE GROWS: Steak preparation for my friends at these dinners was inconsistent--resolved immediately, but that's a sticking point with me when it comes to steakhouses or restaurants that highlight their steaks as the center of their menu. My steaks, however, have always been cooked as ordered. One of the appetizers ordered was a special which was described as oysters fried with cornmeal. My friend and I both ordered that and when it arrived, luckily I took the first bite. The oysters were served in their original shell with a layer of smashed avocado with lime and cilantro: my friend, like 50% of people, has an aversion to cilantro because it tastes like soap to him. I warned him and he thanked me for telling him first, but it was something the kitchen should have shared with servers who were listing the specials. THE GLOWS: The prime rib, served only on Fridays and Saturdays, is among best on Long Island. Perfectly seasoned, simplicity being best, and an au jus that is mouthwatering. It comes with potatoes and a vegetable, which for me were mashed potatoes (creamy and smooth and in no need of salt or pepper) and grilled asparagus and carrots. The oyster appetizer (despite the cilantro debacle) was a marriage of flavors and textures that makes this a dish they should add to their rotation. As a lover of cilantro and avocado, it paired perfectly with the preparation of the fried oysters. I had a Sapphire martini (dirty) which was balanced and served promptly and to my liking. Bonus here is that I was offered olives, then offered blue cheese stuffed olives--wowser! That definitely raised the bar for me, as a lover of all things blue cheese. Our server was attentive and helpful and managed a large table without issue. Every course was brought out with deliberate timing so that no one was left waiting while others ate. To round out the meal, my friend and I shared the red velvet cheesecake. If you are a red velvet fan, I highly recommend this dessert. Their dessert portions are big enough to share, except for the gelato which is a one-person serving (and who wants to share ice cream anyway???). In the past I have enjoyed many seafood options they provide as well. For those times you don't want red meat, I highly recommend the halibut entree on their regular menu. I like their creamed spinach, but if you get the prime rib, it already comes with sides, so get it to share if you feel so inclined to order it. Primehouse is in my top 5 steakhouses to frequent--give them a try!

Over all this venue has a good vibe. The staff were really nice and helpful. One of the members of our party was a little late and they were understanding. I had the spicy tuna and skirt steak both were very delicious. The banana pudding was a bit too hard for my taste.

Honestly a very meh experience when it comes to steakhouses. Decor and ambiance are on point, drinks are good but steak was not on par with other steakhouses at this price point. Sushi was pretty good, lobster mac and cheese was also well done but the steak itself was disappointing. We ordered it medium rare and it came out medium to well done in certain sections. That's a pretty inexcusable miscue. Service was friendly and good. Not sure I'll be back but there was enough good to at least entertain the idea.

I even received a rose for the occasion! However, we waited 10 minutes before someone finally approached us and asked, 'Is anyone helping you? Are you okay with tap water?' I understand it was a busy Valentine's Day weekend, but I expected a proper greeting rather than just being asked about tap water. When she brought the water, she asked if it was our first time. We said yes, expecting a brief explanation of the restaurant's concept. Instead, she just said, 'Technically, the meats will come to you, and you can go to the market and get anything you want. That's our special for tonight, you can go ahead and head over to the marketplace.' We went to the 'marketplace,' and it was delicious! We tried several items, and everything was tasty and fresh. Salads. Cold cuts. Rice. Beans. Zero complaints there. Back at the table, the gauchos began bringing the meats--filet mignon, picanha, sausage, bacon-wrapped steak, chicken, and lamb. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service, however, stayed subpar. My mango caipirinha arrived five minutes later, but my husband's Coke never showed up. We waited all dinner for it and never received it. Our waitress only came back once because we flagged her down for water, and then again for the check. Even the tables around us were wondering where she was. This was extremely disappointing!!! Zero smiles or a nice tone from Her. The food was delicious (5 stars), but the service she provided was definitely 0 stars. I want to come back for the food, but the service is making me think twice.

No shade, but Ruth's Chris is like the Chick-fil-A of steakhouse; consistent, but not my go-to for fine dining. That said, I've been dining here for over a decade, and the food has always been consistent. The stuffed chicken and calamari are still favorites of mine. I do respect the effort to enforce a dress code in the dining area. However, it must be applied fairly and consistently not in a way that feels selective or discriminatory. Upon arrival, my party and I made sure we were dressed according to policy and even had the dress code on hand. When it was time to be seated, the hostess, Nicole, without much engagement, seated us at a high-top table near the bar. When we asked why, she stated, "We have a strict policy on athletic wear." This immediately caused confusion, as neither of us was wearing athletic wear. I was dressed in a custom Daniel's Leather, Fox Fur Trim Leather coat, leather leggings, designer sneakers, and a dressy off-the-shoulder sweater. My friend wore black jeans, a dressy off-the-shoulder top, and designer sneakers. We were both taken aback, as nothing about our outfits aligned with athletic wear. We asked to speak with a manager for clarification. The supervisor (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, possibly Melissa) was professional, understanding, and immediately clarified that leggings were not an issue and that our attire was appropriate. She was apologetic and even checked on us again during dinner, which was appreciated. However, when returning to the front with the manager so we could be reseated properly, Nicole remained unprofessional. She was neither apologetic nor interested in addressing the situation in a respectful or human way. What made the situation more concerning was that while seated, I observed several other guest all Caucasian who were clearly underdressed seated without issue. This included individuals in tracksuits (which are definitively athletic wear),regular running sneakers, ripped jeans, graphic T-shirts, (one with Michael Myers on it and bold white letters saying "Party Crasher" also two ladies with standard leggings that were far more casual than what I was wearing. Aside from this experience, everything else was great. Our waitress, Aya, was phenomenal especially for someone new. She was knowledgeable about the menu, kind, and attentive throughout the evening. Even offered add-ons, yet not being pushy upselling which myself having experience in customer service she was great employee. The food, as always, was consistent, and the manager handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, the experience with the hostess left a lasting negative impression. It's disappointing, because as the first point of contact, that interaction sets the tone for the entire evening--and in this case, it was handled in a way that felt distasteful, unfair and blatantly discriminatory.

The bread is like a toasted baguette cut into 4 triangles topped with piquillo salsa, arugula and jamon. Pretty good, I was surpised there wasn't pan con tomato but it was still enjoyable. This is a bit more on the acidic side so if you don't like things too tangy - might not be for you. Patatas bravas, classic with aioli and bravas sauce. Shisito peppers blistered, a bit of finishing salt and lemon. Garlic shrimp was cooked well, personally I'd like a bit more garlic in mine and some bread to mop would be nice but still tasty. Plancha burger was definitely our favorite. It's a blend of wagyu sirloin and chorizo, so it's very juicy with a nice smokiness. We ordered crab cakes for starters and they did not disappoint. The Beef Wellington was superb, done to perfection. When our dessert was served, it was personalized with a HAPPY ANNIVERSARY written in chocolate and accompanied by a card. I thank Madison for adding this surprising touch. It was a perfect ending to our lovely night.

The place is beautiful (as you might expect given its location) and the staff treats you like royalty from the minute you walk in. No bread when you sit down, but do yourself a favor and order the bread as an appetizer- it's so good. For entrees my wife got a pasta dish while I went for the New York strip, and it was perfect. The sides only enhanced the meal for us (seriously, the Mac and cheese was great and if not for my fish hating wife, I would've gone for the lobster mac which I'm sure is even better). We even went for the dessert and my wife couldn't get enough of the sorbet, while I had to fight her off from sampling my crème brûlée. It's a little pricey so probably not a place you'll dine in frequently, but for special occasions or a "treat yo self", you can't go wrong here!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with friendly and attentive service. There was no wait time, which made the evening even more enjoyable and stress free for such a large group. The food was fresh, delicious, and served in the perfect portions. Everything was so good that we left nothing behind. I had the flan, and it was honestly the best flan I have ever had. My niece ordered the chocolate cake, and it was absolutely perfect. This was one of the best dining experiences we have had for a special occasion. Whether you are celebrating a birthday, graduation, anniversary, or any important moment, this restaurant makes the experience feel memorable and special. We have been here before for my birthday dinner. We cannot wait to return.

I'm so happy to see how much they've expanded and improved over the years. The owner, Manny, is incredibly friendly and often comes out to greet guests when he's there, which really adds to the warm, family-oriented atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend the all-you-can-eat rodizio and the branzino, but honestly everything there is delicious. And don't even get me started on the desserts--Heavenly Whites... OMG!! Simply incredible.
