Family, friends, amazing food, and plenty of smiles. A perfect birthday celebration.
    Claudia I.

We celebrated my son's 16th birthday at Fogo de Chão, and it was the perfect place for a special occasion. A special shoutout to Jenny Melo, affectionately known as "Jenny from Around the Corner." She was warm, welcoming, funny, and made our celebration even more memorable. Our servers, Michelle and Danny, were attentive and efficient, always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding. We especially loved the spicy steak, pork belly with honey, sweet plantains, polenta, and the warm pão de queijo. The gauchos were friendly and made sure we never had to wait for our favorite selections. What impressed me most was that everyone in our party of seven found something they loved, from adults and teens to a first-time 11-year-old guest. The complimentary birthday dessert was a thoughtful touch that made the birthday boy feel extra special. My only complaint is that I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could have gone back for seconds! We were a party of 7 and had a 10-star experience. Thank you to Jenny, Michelle, Danny, and the entire team for helping make this birthday celebration so memorable.

We went for the happy hour. The $6 apps and $10 cocktails and reasonably priced shareable plates. Although the happy hour is by the bar, since the bar was full, we were able to sit at tables by the bar area. Seems there was a healthy number of people there to enjoy the happy hour menu. We ordered 3 apps and 3 shareable plates, I had a cocktail and hubby had a beer. Yes we were here for the food more than the drinks but I think next time I will have to try a couple of glasses of the $8 South American wines. Favorites for me were the FREE cheese bread (can't get enough of these), Brazilian empanadas, filet mignon board w/ chimichurri sauce and the lobster & shrimp tacos. We also ordered saucy legs, yuca fries and lamb lollipops. In case you were wondering, we did have too much food (but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs) so we brought some left overs home for the daughter. There were patrons on the other side, I assume for the market salad table and the churrasco. If it was loud, we couldn't tell on our side of the restaurant, granted it was a Wednesday late afternoon... The only complaint I have is that the filet mignon board and lamb lollipops took forever to come out. We ordered the saucy legs after we finished the apps and tacos and that came out before the 2 missing entrees. Honestly there was another couple who were unhappy with their orders so sent them back. The waiters must have given our orders to them as a replacement and forgot to tell the kitchen to fire up another set. We waited a very long time and finally asked at which point they made our order. We did get more cheese bread and an order of yummy creamy mashed potatoes to appease us while we waited. We are headed there again tomorrow for a 4 course wine dinner. Hoping I will be wowed into upgrading this to a 5 star review! Yes 4 stars even with the order hiccup!

Four of us went on a Saturday night. Luckily we had a reservation for 6pm because it got packed and was already super busy when we arrived. Lots of parking outside since it's a shared lot. Service was good, they brought new meats regularly and the managers came by to check on us multiple times. One time, I mentioned to my friends I'd love more the cheese and honey, and within 2 minutes someone came by with it. Definitely recommend the candied bacon and picanha. We were seated near the kitchen which means a lot of foot traffic but also the servers pass by a lot with new meats. Always a fun time at Fogo!

2/27/26 - Originally "2 star" This was the second visit to this location (Garden City). This go around was pretty rough. I came in with a party of 3. We wanted to sit at the bar. When I came in I spoke to the girls at the front and they said I could walk over. I noticed there were tables and I then asked were they part of the bar area and was told yes by one of the girls wearing black attire at the front. When my party arrived we then proceeded to go to a table after being cleared by one of the girls that said we could be seated. The girl literally said the table just needed to be cleaned off. We started making our way over and we were then approached by a rude person who I assumed was the shift manager. He said that the tables were reserved. We did try to explain that the girl told us we could be seated there. Despite this persons disposition, we asked how can we get a table as he started walking away mid conversation and he then explained seatings rules that were apparently known to him, but not his staff that directed us to sit there. We then went back to the front and I politely inquired even though he was confrontational and asked about the tables and how can one beat seated in the "bar" area. He then asked if I had a reservation and I told him I specifically wanted the bar area. He then said you can book online and I told him there was no way to book the "bar" area through the mobile experience. He said blindly and confidently, yes there is. I literally showed him (Screens attached) and he, said whatever. I then said now that you "see" this, how should we proceed and he then used his tablet to book internally which isn't available in the mobile experience, ofcourse. I know because when I booked my prior rsvp, via the mobile experience it was for the main dining area, not the bar. In fact there isn't any distinction. Just a general booking. Smh~. He was wrong there again, and could have admitted he wasn't familiar with the mobile app experience for an organization he was representing, but no, arrogance and pride prevailed, and kept him from doing so. Ignorance is bliss, I guess. Now that the booking was reserved, finally we could be seated. It's quite a shame, because the food was decent, even our server was great and we tipped graciously, but all this was overshadowed by the shifts manager's lack emotional IQ, I'd say even bordering on pompous, coupled with the lack of greeting staff training. Perhaps this shift manager was going through something that day, but that shouldn't be on display when one is serving the public in hospitality. This could have been solved pretty easily. In all honesty I cannot recommend this place, unless changes are made with customer service experience. I even watch other people come in for the bar and they were confused. 3/12/26 - Downgraded to "one star" Reporting on the most recent communications from Fogo De Chao. This is not a real attempt to learn from customers bad experiences. They send out request and add an email. I did follow up on 3/6 and they didn't respond. They only do this for optics. No connection was made from them. Downgraded to one star for fake PR.

I had the distinct pleasure of celebrating my wedding anniversary at Fogo de Chao. The food, as always was sublime. Their Churasqueria is delicious. So many choices are offered that it truly is hard to choose which is my favorite cut. But the baby lamb chops are my favorite. My dear husband can't choose a favorite, the choices offered are all superb is his opinion. The staff were truly caring and welcoming. And we were offered a complimentary dessert of our choice to celebrate our Anniversary!! I thought that amazing. The crème brûlée was my choice! It was delicious. The best I have ever had. I cannot recommend Fogo de Chao enough. It is such a beautiful restaurant and the food and service top notch. It has become our favorite restaurant. And by joining their Rewards program, you just can't miss. Some amazing food is waiting for you Try Fogo de Chao as soon as you can. I promise you, you will not be disappointed.

Had a nice meal here while attending a presentation. The salad bar offered a wonderful variety of fresh vegetables, cheeses, meats, olives, grilled peppers, couscous, beets, potato salad.... On the side buffet there were pots of warm food like rice, black beans, chicken and soups. I absorbed loved the lentil soup! The servers walked around with meats but for the non meat eaters like myself we were allowed either sea bass or salmon. My Sea Bass was excellent The staff were attentive with keeping the dishes from stacking up. Overall very nice venue for a business meeting and enjoy a nice meal.

I have always wanted to try fogo de chao since so many people talk about how amazing all the meat is. I love eating a good steak, ribs, or lamp chops. I enjoy eating meat a lot. I have always pass by this location but never visited until this year. I came once early in the year and then again about a month ago. The first time, I thought it was okay, I was not blown away with the tenderness of the meats. The best was the beef short ribs which was the most tender of all the cuts. Most were dry and either too salty or not salty at all. It was not consistent. The cheesebread that they give for free was actually the highlight both visits. This was my rating for each cut of meat that I tried: *garlic steak 3/10 *house special steak 7/10 *bottom sirloin 8.5/10 *lamb 8/10 *steak wrapped in bacon 3/10 *chicken wrapped in bacon 4/10 *grilled cheese with spicy honey 6 *marinated chicken thighs 6/10 *ribeye 9/10 *filet mignon 1/10 (too dry and salty) *lamb chop 7.5/10 (a little salty, asked for medium well, texture good ask for no or less salt next time) *beef ribs 9.5/10 *pork chop 7/10 The staff are consistently attentive, however, for the price, I'd rather go to a Korean BBQ buffet which generally has better flavor and tender meat.

We were invited to a birthday celebration for a wonderful woman and friend. This restaurant was a fantastic choice. From the very warm greeting by the hostess to the delicious cocktails we ordered at the bar while waiting for everyone to arrive. I highly recommend the strawberry hibiscus caipirinha. It was a good first impression. The restaurant has a wide open modern, understated elegance. The servers were all friendly and professional. The salad bar was well stocked with a nice array of salads and toppings. The served meats were grilled to perfection, all types of steak, lamb and chicken. I

This place is absolutely amazing. When I tell you the food is out of this world and your never on empty unless you choose to be . The ambience is really classy. We absolutely love coming here

I love to go here for the all day happy hour that they have everyday. You can sit anywhere in the restaurant I believe for the deal. Service does take a little while but the drinks are good and I love the food. The prices are reasonable as well. I go here a lot . The decor in there is nice and it's a huge restaurant and clean for the most part.

3/6/26. My first time at happy hour, and I am not running back. I spent about 30 minutes at various points along the bar trying to get a drink, and it wasn't even that busy. I gave up and grabbed a nearby table to wait for my friends. We ordered the filet mignon board (a recommendation from a fellow yelper). I have NEVER had filet with that much fat in my life. We ordered the spinach dip, but one of the waiters RUDELY told us they ran out. How does that even happen? We opted for saucy chicken wings which was way too sweet! The burger was good but not med rare as requested. A bus boy actually emptied the crumbs from the plates onto the center of the table and walked away. Wild! Other than Tiffany, service really wasn't welcoming, friendly or even attentive. Drinks were inconsistent among the table. My skinny Caipirinha was good, but the bartenders and staff need to step up their game.

Alright, so, let me start off by saying the food was magnificent, and the atmosphere was soothing, but the service was horrific. The hostess was friendly but the waiter, I think her name was Angie? or Melanie? was unprofessional, rude, impatient, and the food did not make up for it. Came to the point where I almost got up and walked away.

    Yes please!

This was my first time at Fogo, and it definitely won't be my last! I'm so glad I got to experience this restaurant on a date with my husband. We made a 7 PM reservation for Saturday; when we arrived, we were at our table within 15 seconds! There were people waiting, but those were the walk-ins--I was so happy we booked ahead. Our server, Jesse, was fantastic. He explained in detail how the churrasco experience works. We visited the Market Table, and my favorites were the Brazilian street corn and the rice and beans with pork. Once we sat down, we received mashed potatoes, yuca, and plantains. Then the meat started coming! We had garlic steak, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, lamb chops, chicken legs and thighs, chorizo, skirt steak... wow! We tried it all and even had seconds of our favorites. I didn't want to flip my coaster to red because everything tasted so good, but we were so full! Every bite was incredibly flavorful. Jesse kept coming by to make sure we had everything we needed. Kudos to him for the excellent service! We were way too full for dessert, but we left very happy and satisfied.

I even received a rose for the occasion! However, we waited 10 minutes before someone finally approached us and asked, 'Is anyone helping you? Are you okay with tap water?' I understand it was a busy Valentine's Day weekend, but I expected a proper greeting rather than just being asked about tap water. When she brought the water, she asked if it was our first time. We said yes, expecting a brief explanation of the restaurant's concept. Instead, she just said, 'Technically, the meats will come to you, and you can go to the market and get anything you want. That's our special for tonight, you can go ahead and head over to the marketplace.' We went to the 'marketplace,' and it was delicious! We tried several items, and everything was tasty and fresh. Salads. Cold cuts. Rice. Beans. Zero complaints there. Back at the table, the gauchos began bringing the meats--filet mignon, picanha, sausage, bacon-wrapped steak, chicken, and lamb. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service, however, stayed subpar. My mango caipirinha arrived five minutes later, but my husband's Coke never showed up. We waited all dinner for it and never received it. Our waitress only came back once because we flagged her down for water, and then again for the check. Even the tables around us were wondering where she was. This was extremely disappointing!!! Zero smiles or a nice tone from Her. The food was delicious (5 stars), but the service she provided was definitely 0 stars. I want to come back for the food, but the service is making me think twice.

Our waiter was great when we first sat down to get drinks out and to order. However, during dinner service, we had not seen him again. I think we had to flag other staff just to grab him at some point as we needed utensils and refills on water. We also wanted to order more drinks but it just took a long time to get his attention. We were a party of eight and was here to celebrate my birthday. Appetizers we tried: 1) thick cut candied bacon (it was indeed thick, and we did not have the kimchi on the side it was paired with), 2) Double cream Burrata with fig (it was okay, not memorable), 3) Wagyu Meatballs (really disappointing, temperature cook was uneven. One side was hard/tough like burnt and the other side was softer). 4) two orders of lobster bisque (a tad salty, had some lobster pieces, I would've preferred creamier). From finishing the appetizers, we had to wait an entire 55 minutes for our entrees to come out. We were told any moment, two times, but it was not. It took way too long. And at this point, we needed water refills and wanted to order wine. It was very chaotic and we could not find our waiter. Onto to dinner entrees: 1) porterhouse for two (heavily seasoned and again cooked at an inconsistent temperature). A few pieces were almost raw near the bone. 2) two orders of King Prime Rib, most of it was medium rare. But again, as we got closer to the inside and near the fatty sections, it was too rare/raw even. 3) Queen Prime Rib was ok. More medium than medium rare. 4) Filet mignon, which is supposed to be the most tender, it was not. It was over cooked and the meat was dry and grainy. Very disappointed. I do not recommend this at all. Onto desserts: we opted for some cappuccino and just two desserts: two affogato's and an almond cake with citrus. It was fine, but not memorable. We spent almost $900 including tip but it was literally the most disappointing steakhouse experience I've had ever. I do not recommend. It's fine for a night out for drinks but not for the steak.

Our waitress was responsive to whatever we needed. The prices are a little high for the portion size, but the food is great quality. My vinho verde was a nice size pour. My husband loved the Iberian ham here. We both had the garlic shrimp which were very well flavored but unfortunately didn't have even one garlic clove, which was disappointing and there were only 6 shrimp. The olive oil they were in was great though and we dipped our food into it and they were perfectly cooked. The paella is supposed to be for 2-4 people which I can see if you have more tapas but we finished it off. It came with a healthy amount of shrimp, grilled calamari and chorizo and was perfectly seasoned. We also appreciated how the rice was a bit crispy and not mushy. The table next to ours ordered what appeared to be a very good looking fruit cobbler of some kind but we were too stuffed for dessert. They also have a weekday happy hour before 6pm that looks good with deals on booze. Really enjoyed this spot! Conveniently located in the middle of garden city with ample free parking.

The restaurant is tapas style so a lot of small plates. I thought the presentation of the food was very well done. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended great dishes. We ordered shrimp, steak on the bone, bone marrow, potatoes, polenta, broccolini, shishieto peppers, and paella for dinner to share. We all enjoyed our food. For desserts we got the lemon and blueberry pudding, was delicious. I loved the bread pudding. My grandfather enjoyed his Nutella chocolate.

The restaurant has a beautiful, bright, modern atmosphere that feels much more upscale than its surroundings. Based on other reviews, the standout dishes seemed to be the grilled Spanish octopus and the SB Smash Burger, so I ordered both. Unfortunately, the execution fell short in several areas. The East Coast oysters arrived with mignonette but without horseradish or oyster forks--small details, but noticeable oversights. The oysters, octopus, and burger were all tasty, but the presentation of octopus and burger was surprisingly sloppy, as though little attention had been paid when the dishes left the kitchen. The bar also was understaffed. A single bartender was serving both the bar and the entire dining room, which led to waits for drinks. My bartender was friendly, attentive, and worked hard, but one person simply wasn't enough. I finished with the Key Lime Custard, which had what appeared to be a layer of shredded cereal on the bottom. I wasn't sure what it was. The dessert itself was enjoyable, though I think a base of toasted sliced almonds with a few fried blueberries on top of it would have added better texture and complemented the flavors more effectively. One nice perk is the validated valet parking, for a reduced fee, which makes arriving and leaving especially convenient given the mall location. The whiskey selection could also be improved by adding a few more interesting, off-the-beaten-path single malts or blends. Overall, the kitchen shows promise! And perhaps I came on an off night. With better attention to presentation, appropriate bar staffing, and a more adventurous choice of spirits, Small Batch could deliver an experience that better matches its reputation.

From the moment we walked in the door, we were bowled over by the exceptional hospitality and elegant atmosphere. Not only were we checked in by Isabella; and waited on by Jose and Mary; we were captivated by Manager Michael and Executive Chef Anup, who both came to our table and introduced themselves to us. A round of applause goes to Mary for taking care of us by bringing our cocktails on time and continually replenishing our water glasses. We never had to flag her down. A shoutout goes to the Chef Anup for making food that was fresh and flavorful. Everything was beautifully presented and expertly prepared. My favorites were the caviar, fresh lobster, and the rack of lamb. David Burke's Signature Clothes Line Bacon was also incredible because it was caramelized and had good crunch. It got its moniker "clothes line" from the clothes pin that it is hung on--What an innovative presentation (see photo below). The unlimited alcohol was a plus, too; and the hot coffee was so good that I had a few refills, and I don't usually drink hot coffee. I prefer iced... The brunch was pricey, but it was worth it because of the vast array of food, drink and world-class service.

Initially the steak came out wrong temperature about medium to medium well done from center to edge with a tough texture. I don't love complaining, but when the server asked, I told the truth. I was not enthused with the steak. The second steak I received was perfect medium rare. The problem is the toughness of both steaks. I guess wasn't related to the temperature, but was the quality of the steak cuts themselves. I ate a little bit more and had the rest wrapped up, dog should enjoy the exercise. Tuna roll was great though, and the side asparagus was well prepared. Girlfriend seemingly enjoyed her risotto as well. Service was very nice.

Reservations are highly recommended. A lot of my mom friends rave about this place and I got to dine here twice with them, once for brunch and the other for dinner. The first time I came here was with my child for brunch. I got a mocktail and we ordered chicken and waffles along the unadvertised kids menu containing chicken fingers and fries. Portions for both dishes were generous and took home the leftovers. We also shared the Brussels sprouts and the infamois complimentary bread, which were really good. The second and most recent time we went was for dinner with the a huge group of moms. We shared the Caesar salad, Brussels sprouts, and general two's cauliflower, which was amazing. I had the red sangria and a taste of the Huckleberry lemonade, drinks were strong. For the entrees I ordered the salmon and once again portion was huge, took it home and the hubby ate the leftovers. Other moms ordered the frose, spicy paloma, le poulet and spicy Rigatoni. At the end we had key lime pie which tasted great but I was too full to finish it. I'll be coming to this spot more often because of great company and food!
