There's a nice mix between cold food, like salads and wraps, and hot foods, a majority of which fall into the soup and chili categories. At first glance, what initially comes off as a casual cafe bistro, shows off a surprisingly robust menu upon further inspection. In the spring months, sitting outside in the painstakingly crafted campus, with its obligatory man-made pond, is the preferred way to break up the day and maybe even get a little tan. In the backdrop, the blue sky shimmers off the reflective windows of each looming building, a perfect union of work and play. I am thrilled for the owners, who nearly had to close their doors for good during the COVID-induced shutdown years back. They said refunds would take one week and the people who said they really would never come back, had the managers get their food quicker than ours. They even said there was no manager on duty. Anyone watching the staff work would know that no one was lying. No utensils, napkins at the tables, just people sitting there waiting for their to-go order and then freeing a table later.If you are one of those weekend people with nothing to do until you have some structure at work on Monday, this is the perfect place to waste most of your day, to get you that much closer to work.
