My family and I ordered a Sicilian pizza on Wednesday August 26 and it was the best pizza.

I have to pass many other pizza places to get here so I don't frequent Palermo's. We received a buy a pizza get one free so we decided to try it and I'm glad we did. The white capri pizza was excellent and I would definitely recommend it. The crust was very thin and the chicken was super fresh with plenty of cheese. The plain cheese pizza was also very good with a super thin crust, tasty sauce and quality cheese. It was definitely a different pizza than others in the area and I really led it but I'm not sure I would order it again. It wasn't hearty enough for me and not my favorite style , I would say one bite would consider it a " bar style " pizza which isn't my favorite choice. I ordered the Israeli salad, it's not finely chopped. Their stock photo is soooooo misleading. Also ordered the hummus, it has olives and onions in it. That was not in their description. Got mozzarella sticks and a goat cheese salad and both were great. Their salad sizes are really generous - the small salad would be considered large in other places. Everything was fresh and delicious. Loved their marinara sauce - savory, not too sweet, perfect. Would def try this place again. read more

Our go to pizza place ! Always consistently good pizza. I love their salads. This is the only pizza place who does just throw peppers, tomatoes and croutons in every salad. They have a good variety of salads, put a whole grilled chicken breast in the salad and give good quality lettuce. We've had various other items we've enjoyed from here too. I'm not sure how I haven't reviewed Palermo's yet since I've eaten here and gotten take-out plenty. A few days ago, I ordered a large plain, a cheesesteak hoagie, and fries for a little get together I was attending. I also picked up two overpriced($2/ea), yet delicious chocolate chip cookies (soft in the middle, slightly crisp at the edges) at the register. Everyone enjoyed the pizza and fries, as usual. I enjoyed the cheesesteak hoagie and was pleasantly surprised that they were more than happy to hold the roll and put it in a tin for me. The tin was FULL and the contents were flavorful. The staff I encountered were very friendly, although I know sometimes they don't come across that way over the phone. I will be back and do recommend Palermo's to others all the time read more

Went in today with my 7 year old daughter ordered chicken fingers and 2 slices of pepperoni (water&diet coke) bill came to $24 plus I tipped.When the pizza arrived for my daughter it didn't have pepperoni so I asked if they could put some on and heat it up real quick,the waitress walked away and came back and said she can't do it..I was like what?..she said it's already sliced for a kid(little squares) and they can't put pepperoni on it now..now normally they would just be like no problem we will get you two different slices..nope ..they said we have to eat the plain slices..lol..even know I paid for pepperoni,that place if full of idiots.Ill never be back again read more

I have been ordering takeout from Palermo's in Lansdale once to twice a week for over a year now. I've noticed the quality and consistency of the food has gone downhill the past couple of months. Tonight was my final push when I ordered a cheese steak calzone, halfway into the calzone I bite down on something hard and sharp to find a piece of glass about the size of a dime in the calzone. This could have been dangerous, how do you allow a broken piece of glass get mixed into the calzone? Way too many other pizza shops to choose from in the area. Palermo's is located in a little shopping center in Lansdale. My sister wanted to order take out from here today so was stopped by super quick to grab salads. For a pizza shop, Palermo's is super clean and the staff was friendly. Their avocado salad is too awesome. I ordered the large and it definitely was a hearty salad. Also the dressing that came w/ it was great. Super light, but favorable. We were in and out within ten minutes and I would definitely came back the next time I'm around this area! read more

After being a loyal customer for about10 years -- and granted, their pizza, subs and salads are good -- they sold me a FRANKENSTEIN PIZZA when I had ordered a large pizza, half sausage half extra cheese as I'd done dozens of times before. This time Palermo's Pizza put random slices from the shelf in my box rather than baking a fresh pie as I had ordered. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? DO YOU THINK YOUR CUSTOMERS DON'T KNOW PIZZA? When I use to eat pizza because I was younger and my metabolism could handle the massive amount of carbs, I always enjoyed eating their pies. Their calzones are also very good. But now as I age, I am subjected to choose from one of their other 50 choices. I usually get the antipasto salad and it's always good. It has plenty of meat, fresh lettuce and veggies. This place was good, but the quality has gone down over the past year. I placed an online order for a chicken cheesesteak calzone, cheese steak and a cannoli. They made a beef calzone and expected me to take it. After they corrected the calzone, I was very disappointed that the very small cheesesteak was cold, and the size of a hot dog and the filling in the cannoli was runny. I'll never go there again! Palermo's is my go to pizza shop in this area. It tastes fresh and so much better than any of the "fake" pizza places like dominos or Pizza Hut. The baked ziti is also delicious. They do offer clean indoor seating, but I usually prefer to take my meal to go. One of my favorite things about this pizza place is that you receive magnets each time you buy a pizza and once you collect enough, you can trade in your magnets for a free pizza! read more

Ordered online, first time through Slice. Non company employed delivery guy shows up. Forgot salad, dressing and soda. Palermo employee comes to drop off salad and wrong soda lol. Also ordered chicken tenders, it came with only 3 and way to many fries, they tasted like rubber. May have been reheated from the previous day. C'mon guys get it together. Palermo's has great pizza. The sauce is not sweet and fresh, the crust is crispy yet chewy. The white pizza is not greasy as you would expect for a white pizza. The dough under the cheese is not too chewy but also crispy. Sometimes its a little burnt but that is because the dough is so thin. Their sandwiches are tasty too. Cheesesteaks, hoagies, and their falafel is delicious too. They recently renovated the dining area and it looks very upscale. I got takeout from Palermo's Pizza the other night on the way home from work. I ordered a Medium Cheesesteak Pizza, a Small Margherita Pizza, and an order of wings. Somehow this came to over $30...which surprised me. But I figured it would be worth it because good pizza is hard to come by. Unfortunately, the pizza and wings were pretty crappy. The wings were basically without any kind of coating, and hardly had any sauce on them. They were jiggly and soggy and basically inedible if not for the supply of hot sauce we keep on hand. Not enjoyable. My boyfriend did not like the cheesesteak pizza very much. He didn't hate it, and liked the crust, but the sauce was too sweet, the meat was just super dry flakes, and the cheese was just a few slices of American cheese that were semi-melted on top. He ate a few slices and threw the rest out: something that is unspeakable in our house, as leftover pizza is one of the basic food groups. For this, I paid $15. The margherita pizza wasn't bad. Again, I liked the crust. It definitely needed more sauce though (this was a completely different sauce than what was on the cheesesteak pizza)...and more basil. 80% of the pizza was just crust and blobs of mozzarella. Also, it was $11 for a pizza the size of a pita bread. For that price, I could have gotten an amazing veggie covered pizza from California Pizza Kitchen. In short, Palermo's was super overpriced and super disappointing. I was pretty excited to try it from all of the awesome reviews on Yelp, but it was pretty grody and I won't be going back. read more

I have dined in and also gotten take out from this location. I have had good experiences on all occasions. Their chicken strombolis are delicious but the chicken pesto panini is AMAZING. Everything is usually seasoned very well. Their prices are fair (chicken pesto panini-about $9, comes with fries and a side salad). They are very generous with their portions. The restaurant itself seems clean. The workers are cordial. This is definitely a good place to grab lunch or dinner. There is never really a long wait when I go. Depending on what I order, my food is usually done in 15 minutes or less. read more

Delivery was very timely, but the 6 inch meatball sub was way overpriced for what I got, the Falafel balls were cold, which I have never seen before at other places, as well the Salad had the wrong Dressing. I really hate to downgrade my reviews, but here is one. The food remains good, spped and service are adequate. BUT Palermo's really should stop messing with credit card surcharges. In past few months they went from normal (same price regardless of payment terms) to CC minimums, to CC surcharge to posted cash discount. Now I was charged 3% extra, while a cash discount of 5% is still advertised. Stop messing around! read more

Favorite local pizza place! We usually order the plain and occasionally their Special (kind of like a fancy supreme) with a small side salad. Since it's a local chain it's def pricier than Dominoes or Pizza Hut, but something about their sauce keeps me coming back! I don't go out often for pizza and the like but there's one thing I do enjoy and one thing that can be a pain to find: Thin-crust tomato pies. They make a really good regular/thincrust tomato pie with sauce, garlic and a bit of olive oil. Also, more often than not, I've been able to get the large with a whole wheat crust. So if you're looking for something near Lansdale that's lighter than traditional cheese pizza, well made and tasty, Palermo's is an excellent choice. read more

Amazing pizza. Ordered meat lovers large plenty of food for 2 kids and 2 adults. Great price. Went with kids at 5pm on a friday and it is very clean nice place. Even with CoVID issue I felt very safe eating inside with kids. Very friendly place. I would recommend to people who enjoy thin crust pizza and who want to make sure the place is safe and clean in this new COVID year.
