Always a favorite since grade school. They updated and moved the building, but still the same great taste. The best tuna hoagies and chicken cheesesteaks in our area!! The staff is friendly and my order is always right. There's easy parking in the lot.

A perfect back up for a cheesesteak. They are pretty good here. The steak is chopped up, just how I prefer it. The kids chicken tenders were great. Crispy, and the perfect amount. They happen to have some homemade Italian wedding soup available the day I went. It was perfect for the cold weather they had that day. The soup was piping hot and it had wonderful flavor. Only complaint was that my fries were a little overcooked. Staff was kind. Eating area was tiny, but worked well for what we were looking for. They do a lot of take out.

We could have shared a cheesesteak sandwich and the onion rings!!

I'm from California but today I officially ate a Philly cheesesteak sandwich in Philly!! It was delicious! I kept it pretty simple, added provolone cheese and grilled onions. It was stuffed with meat on meat on meat!! My heart was happy and I definitely did the happy dance while eating!! Honestly, I've had a cheesesteak sandwich in California before, and it was good. But here in Philly, it's all about the BREAD!!! The hoagie roll was FRESH and tasted so good! Ambiance gave the perfect hoagie shop vibes and I was not disappointed! Service was quick and customer service was great. The young lady at the counter was patient and very helpful with me. I will definitely stop by one more time before returning to California.

    American wit cheesesteak.

Pudge's has been on my radar for a long time. People still claim it's one of the best in the burbs of Philly. I had high hopes, but I just can't get on board. I've been in a few times over the past several months and they are consistent. The staff is extremely polite and professional...they are in Blue Bell so I'm sure that's a requirement for the area. The food, however, leaves some things to be desired. I ordered the same cheesesteak every time, American - wit. Every time the meat was so over chopped that it fell out of the roll, additionally the meat lacked flavor. The cheese was always on the roll so that kept the meat dry as well. And the onions, they don't cook them enough in my opinion and again, they're just thrown on top. A little more care, mixing the ingredients may make this a good cheesesteak but for the money and time...it's not worth it.

I ordered cheesesteak. It was about $12 after tax. Size was huge I couldn't finish. They were pretty busy and i could see why. It was really good. I could say hands down one of the best in this area. Bit pricer for one meal. Thats smallest size they said. Still huge. But hey price for everything went up crazy. So why not. I would definitely revisit !!!

It's a fun place to unwind and run into familiar faces. When the lunch bell sounds, the line forms swiftly, as the masses gather to devour their hoagies and onion rings. There's a nice mix between cold food, like salads and wraps, and hot foods, a majority of which fall into the soup and chili categories. At first glance, what initially comes off as a casual cafe bistro, shows off a surprisingly robust menu upon further inspection. In the spring months, sitting outside in the painstakingly crafted campus, with its obligatory man-made pond, is the preferred way to break up the day and maybe even get a little tan. In the backdrop, the blue sky shimmers off the reflective windows of each looming building, a perfect union of work and play. I am thrilled for the owners, who nearly had to close their doors for good during the COVID-induced shutdown years back. Now, with CEOs leading their return-to-office crusades around the country, the hardworking corporate café worker can once again flourish.

Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the reputation. We ordered Philly cheesesteaks, and while I was ready to taste something iconic, what I got was a black pepper overload. The seasoning completely overpowered the meat, which was disappointing. Even worse, the bread-to-meat ratio was way off. My roll was soggy, and no amount of mayonnaise or ketchup could save it. We also ordered onion rings and chicken tenders for our toddler. The onion rings were fried to the point of being rock hard. Not crispy, just tough. The chicken tenders were dry and flavorless. Our toddler ate some and said they were "good," but even she didn't want the leftovers the next day and neither did we. Hubby said to be fair, the staff was sweet and very accommodating, which we appreciated. However great service can't cover up subpar food. Sadly, High Steaks missed the mark for us, and in a city known for doing cheesesteaks right, that's a big letdown.

The biscuits for their sandwiches are flakier and much better. If you think you have twenty-years left to live, you might want to knock out a few things on your bucket list before ordering. They have a sign that says something like this isn't fast food and there isn't anything fast here at all. The staff and customers all agree with that slogan. No one is hiding it. A few weekends ago, we waited over 45 minutes like idiots for our food. I had a $50 gift card, most went to this meal, and I was ready to walk out. Sadly, I didn't complain to management, because the line was longer than the line to order food. They said refunds would take one week and the people who said they really would never come back, had the managers get their food quicker than ours. It's an interesting business strategy to ensure the angry customers who won't return got their food first, but I get it. If less people frequent this place, then the lines won't be as long. They even said there was no manager on duty. Anyone watching the staff work would know that no one was lying. No utensils, napkins at the tables, just people sitting there waiting for their to-go order and then freeing a table later. If you are one of those weekend people with nothing to do until you have some structure at work on Monday, this is the perfect place to waste most of your day, to get you that much closer to work. Sweet treats are alright, nothing special. Breakfast sandwich could be worth it, but you could also go to the worst grocery store in town and make your own better biscuit and sandwich in the amount of time you have to wait. $8 left on our gift card and in a perfect world I'll misplace it.
