I ordered ahead 45 min for a 1:10 pickup. When I get there 1:15, there's only 2 customers in the shop and my food hasn't even been started. Then they proceed to make everyone else's order first. What's the point of having online order if you cant honor it. What a waste of time. read more

I picked up a hoagie for lunch here recently and it was subpar. I ordered online which was quick and easy. I wrote toppings on side and dressing on side (oil and vinegar and mayo). I ordered a salami ham and provolone sub. I got home excited to eat it to see there was no toppings and no dressings, the roll was so hard I could barely bite it. Just meat and cheese and not much of it. It was terrible. I wrote an email because I couldn't eat and it really was not cheap. I got no response. Service was friendly and place was clean however I will definitely not come back. My order was a waste of $19. Do not recommend. There are plenty of places nearby that offer good hoagies and this is not one of them. It used to be good but this was really bad. read more

Zuma here. I went to primo hoagies a couple months ago, and I have to say that this place is just average to me. The service and wait time are good, and they do have a wide selection of mini desserts and side dishes, but the sandwiches are just ok. The sandwich bread isn't the softest here, dude, and it outshines the rest of the ingredients. I feel like they never put enough sauce on, but the ham, turkey, cheese, etc... is good. Terrific hoagies! Unfortunately their app is so poor I gave up on ever ordering again. Many times buttons are just missing and an order cannot be completed. I tried to order three times today and the place order button appeared for two seconds and then disappeared. This is on an up to date iPhone. Just outside of downtown Easton, PA is a strip mall, you will find Primo Hoagies. Living in Chicago, you cannot find great hoagies anywhere. So, visiting family in PA got me thinking about finding the best place around. I asked a few locals and everyone said Primo's. Now, I don't know if they are really the best around, but they were very good. I was unable to find them using the Yelp iPhone app, so I found them on Mapquest. They offer online ordering, but I wanted to see before ordering so we went there. It is fairly large, and there were very few people there at around 6:30 PM on a Saturday. The place is well lit and very clean. Their menu is huge, but really mostly consists of Italian hoagies with minor variations between them. I simply had their standard Italian with lettuce, tomato, oil, vinegar and oregano. The hoagies are HUGE. A small can probably feed a small family, but I got the "primo" size. (It is between a small and a large.) My father got a meatball any my mother a veggie. We also got a side order of their homemade potato salad. The sandwiches were fantastic. After a few bites I noticed that they were also quite spicy, so be prepared or order them not as spicy if your tastes are that way. But wow. It is a couple of hours later and I still taste the spice. The potato salad was fresh, but I have to admit that I've had better. Overall, though, these are first class hoagies. A visit here is well worth the time. One other thing - although I didn't ask, I believe this is family owned. Based on looks, I would guess that Dad was making the hoagies, Grandpa was delivering and the daughter was working the cash register. It's always best to go to a family owned place (even if I think this may be a franchise.) read more

Hoagies were spot on, Italian was amazing great flavor subtle spice but just enough to dazzle the taste buds, honestly we would have given the place 5 stars, but we had a bad experience with ordering through GrubHub (no fault on the restaurant) where we didn't receive our two sides or desserts. Primo Hoagie is located on the western edge of Easton in an outdoor mall, so parking is plentiful. The bread is fresh, with good consistency and texture. The cold cuts are fresh and the selection sufficient to meet almost anyone's needs. Then why the three star review? The only two negatives regarding Primo is their New York City pricing. Come on guys. You're in Easton, PA, you're not 6th Ave Deli. Similar quality can be found for about 80% of the price in the same area. So, if you don't mind paying a premium at Primo then dig in as you won't be dissatisfied with the product. The other negative is delivery. They claim they do, but its catch as catch can. read more

Went here yesterday and picked up a couple of subs( they're not hoagies in NW Jersey, got it?). Really surprised as to how good they were. Seriously good. We got a roast pork and broccoli rabe and another with prosciutto ,cappacola, salami, ham and provolone. I'm a bread snob coming from the Bronx and Long island and man.. Their menu advertises delivery in big letters on the front. I was staying at a local hotel so delivery was a must. The hotel provided some menus but warned that this primos location delivers "when they feel like it." Lo and behold I called and the woman who answered told me that she was told not to take any more delivery orders for the night. This was at 7pm and they close at 8. Who turns down business these days?? Their local competitor didn't! Won't be calling primos next time I'm in the area. read more

I'm not from here I'm from New York recently moved to Pennsylvania.. a coworker came here a couple times told me it was really good so since I work across the street I decided let me try it, I saw there menu once remember they made an eggplant parm and I was craving one. Well holy batman did it SUCK I got the promo size which was an outrageous $10.00 plus tax. When you get an eggplant from an New York pizzeria it's like $6/7 bucks ... usually a good amount of fried eggplant there's was super soggy more sauce on the wrapper the on the sub no cheese .. parmigiana means sauce and cheese .. that would be nice .. but I was extremely disappointed especially for that price! read more

I have officially had my last Primo hoagie today. The past few times I have been there I have noticed they are very skimpy on the meat. The taste and bread is good but there is no excuse to skimp, especially at the price they charge. Used to live outside of Philadelphia and before Primo became a chain they were a small, local South philly place. You'd have to get there early enough or they'd run our of the great Sarcone's rolls they used. My family and I would make trips there, about 30 minute drives just for their hoagies and the off to Potito's bakery for canollis. Moved back to Pennsylvania to the Nazareth, PA area from Florida after 6 years away. Was thrilled to see Primo expanded to locations outside of Philadelphia! Never disappointed when we get a Primo. Too many good hoagies on the menu to list them all, so train any of them and you'll experience what a true hoagie is. read more

This used to be a fantastic location, however, the last two times, it's been a mess. Gave it another try today. Asked for a turkey Diablo with mayo and light spices. Instead, I got a completely dry sandwich, covered in spices so think I couldn't tell what the meat was. Completely inedible, and into the garbage it went. Complete waste. This location is absolutely outstanding. My mother was placed in hospice and at a time when food was last on our minds a family member called to order food for us. The platters normally require 24 hour notice but they were able to work out a large order and have it delivered to our house within an hour. In addition, they delivered even though we were outside of their delivery range. We really appreciated how considerate and compassionate they were in regards to the situation. The food was outstanding and kept our family fed for nearly 3 days, 6 meals. Thank you to your team for being so flexible during such a hard time. You're team is awesome!! read more

Wow, really great subs here and I've never had any issue with the help as some other Yelpers said in their reviews!! This place is by far the best in the Valley for a sub. I grew up north of NYC where authentic Italian delis were all over the place. I am pretty finiky when it comes to "Italian" subs. These subs are as good as I remember and as good as any I've had in NYC lately (and I work there every day)! What really makes the subs is the sesame seeded bread. It's a bit crispy on the outside and chewy, like classic Italian bread from New York. Also, the meats are sliced very thin and not skimped on. I've ordered from Jimmy John's and while delivery was fast, the taste cannot compare to these. I do also like Lee's Hoagie House in Emmaus but that's more like a Jersey Shore sub...soft bread piled with meat and veggies. Good, but just different. Don't be afraid to customize your own sandwich either. I've ordered the Sharp Italian with the fresh mozzarella and roasted red peppers. read more

I have been a big fan of Primo Hoagies for years, but this particular location has some problems that they just don't seem to be able to resolve. First of all, they have no clue how to properly dress most of their long established sandwich designs, so don't be surprised if you end up with mayo on your Italian Diablo or lettuce/tomato/oil/vinegar on your Schwartzie. ( I guess they never thought to wonder what the "asterisk" on their menu signifies). And even though you didn't order a Diablo, it's not uncommon for them to inadvertently add heat and lots of it to your sandwich. I agree with some of the other reviewers, the staff here can be a bit rude, particularly if you arrive there within one hour of closing time. This location doesn't do the rest of the chain justice. Do yourself a favor and go nearby to the Primo on Catasauqua Road in Bethlehem if you want the real Primo Hoagie Experience. read more
