    Amazing Scallops!

Had a super fun experience tonight at Primos! Paige was an incredible server and made the dinner truly special! I will definitely be back and looking forward to hearing more of the awesome live music and those incredible scallops!

We came here to watch one of the fifa games and were a party of 5 plus 2 kids. The staff were attentive and so friendly. We appreciated the manager (or owner? not sure) being accommodating to our seating, and overall dining experience which left a positive lasting impression. Nice place, good vibes, good food. Plenty of parking.

Parking lot just for the restaurant but spots are compact. Very large interior with may table and a private seating area. Music is quite loud so hard to have conversation. Dishes and cocktails were all delicious. Portion of the dishes were quite small relative to their price.

Love the new vibe and space here! Amazing drinks, space and a menus i am looking forward to trying! Did someone say piano bar? And if you want a private space for a small party or large that works too! Dj center stage at the bar? yup they have that too! Come check it out

TL;DR: I do not recommend dinner here. Menu is limited. Food doesn't taste good enough to justify the price. Service is mid. Ambiance is Miami vibes with a really cool piano and bar setup. Ample free parking in a dedicated lot. I'm quite disappointed in Primo's. I was targeted by their solid ads and loved the story of a bunch of buddies starting a restaurant. And perhaps this restaurant is what they always wanted and enjoy. But it's not aligned with what I want. 1/LOCATION. North downtown Bellevue. Lots of free parking in their dedicated parking lot. 2/FOOD. Limited menu. 3 main entrees. Several appetizers and desserts. We only got entrées: the gnocchi and the beef + orzo. The gnocchi was OK. Nothing special. Quite oily. Gnocchi wasn't chewy but mushy, but it was a large portion. The beef and orzo were not good. The taste of spices and truffle oil was too strong. The beef cut was fatty and anemic. It was cooked medium rare per recommendation. 3/SERVICE. The waiters are dressed in white shirts and black vests to offer the upscale aesthetic. However, service wasn't prompt as much of the staff were congregated away from the dining area... perhaps because we were only 1 of 3 tables occupied and thus they didn't expect to be busy. 4/VALUE. Poor value. The food is not upscale. The preparation is average at best, and the ingredients are buried in spices so you can't taste if it's fresh or not. We had two entrees. After tax and the mandatory 20% service charge applied for all sizes of patties (not just 6+), we were just shy of $90. That sure didn't taste like a $45/person meal we could've had at El Gauchos or even Jocovine. So it's pretty clear that I won't be back until they figure out these issues. The location is convenient, and the space is well decorated. I can see big events being a good time here. However they need to nail the value proposition before it becomes worth going to.

Food was amazing, we got the salad and orzo to split. The only thing was the food was kind of slow to come out.

Our group ordered the spicy wontons in chili oil, pan fried pork buns, and potstickers to start. The pan fried pork buns were lightly crispy on the outside and delightfully fluffy on the inside. We enjoyed the chili oil - it had the perfect balance of spicy and savory flavors - so much that we could have drizzled it on everything. For dinner, we shared orange peel beef, honey walnut prawns, chicken fried rice, and chicken master chef noodles. Everything tasted fresh and we would definitely go back.

The lollipop chicken was nothing like the menu's photo. The serving was excessive for an appetizer. The garlic was all concentrated on top and overly potent, while the breading had no flavor. The eggplant was a little too sweet and quite bland. Where's the spice? The Kho beef was served with an excess of baguette. Half the baguette would have been enough. The dish is very fatty and difficult to finish. Three dishes, three misses. Service was alright. Staff is polished and attentive. The room was surprisingly noisy despite the restaurant having a lot of empty tables.

I opted to get the flat iron beef with pork broth which was delicious. The happy hour set is a great value IMO - portion sizes were great and left us feeling full without being overly stuffed. You also get access to the sauce/buffet bar as well as ice cream at the end of the meal. As the Dolar Shop is what I consider to be a more upscale hot pot place, you can usually expect the food, service, and ambiance to be great here. It does get busy here (especially on weekends), so be prepared to wait even if you come during off hours. We had a short wait even coming at 4:30pm on a weekday.

At the Dolar Shop, you get a choice of your own broth which is only shared individually. They do have a choice of multiple. I personally chose the tomato broth, which is one of my favorites. I came originally for a reservation at 8:45 pm, but my boyfriend and I wanted to do happy hour so we can have more choices since it was closer to closing. We ended up waiting a few for minutes for this deal. We got a variety of meat, seafood, and vegetables. They were all of good quality, I especially liked the seafood. One thing I would note is the lack of noodles. Personally I like have noodles with my hotpot and Dolar Shop only had one type of noodle. Other than that, the Dolar Shop also had a dessert bar and appetizer bar. I enjoyed the dessert bar along with the ice cream you get at the end of your meal. Overall, I'd probably come again, but I definitely would like more noodle choices in the future.

You don't have to wait in line., just come to the front and tell them you ordered online and they will check to see if the food is ready. The place is pretty chaotic as it was busy and loud. Foodwise: I got the slurping noodle dish and it was refreshing but they either forgot to put sauce in it or was very skimpy about it since it was pretty bland. It was a good portion though. I got the bowl with half salad and half vermicelli. I went with the pork but the chicken looked pretty good as well. The flavor of the pork was on point. The fish sauce added a really nice flavor. I also got the cilantro sauce cause it was recommended. It was good as well but really didn't need it. The bowl was pretty packed. I was spilling all over the place just trying to get to some noodles. It was good though. Next time I'm gonna try the plate. It's pretty much the same thing but hopefully not as full and messy. Oh, and the fried egg always kicks it up a notch.
