She did a full balayage on my hair and I LOVE it. She repaired my old, grown out, yellowed hair and gave me a gorgeous ashy blonde. Friendly, professional, good vibes. Would recommend her to anyone I know and can't wait to go back!

Not only is she talented and professional, she is also incredibly friendly and can make you feel comfortable right away. She has been cutting my hair for about three years and about two years ago started to balayage and tone to give me extra dimension in my otherwise flat bland brown locks. She listens to her clients; she knows I have no patience for styling most of the time, so she spends a lot of time making my hair look lived in and natural so it's low maintenance for me. It ends up looking polished and stylish without me having to put much work in. I've seen so many different stylists; like over 20? Because before Sam, I would usually never go to the same person twice. If you want a talented, artistic, warm, lovely person to help elevate your style, look no further.

Left smiley because they're all smiles, and also left with droppy lashes on one eye which just emphasizes my already bad asymmetrical face. I was told kindly by Megan, the sweet owner of this aesthetic place, that it's because my lashes on one eye are longer than the other. Roxanne, who did my lashes, should take that into consideration, it says they're the professionals, so i'm unsure what happened. I'm not the expert with lashes, but I hoped she would've been. Roxanne is super friendly though and Megan is very customer service oriented. I got i ntouch with her hoping to get it redone, but was offered a lash tint when my lashes are already black.... I feel like a lash lift is just a lash lift though. Just sucks having paid what I did for a 'professional' lash lift that wasn't accomadating to my lashes. Beauty is a science, and I dont think it was measured in my appointment with Roxanne. I wish I could give 5 stars for how friendly they all are and how beautiful her business is, but i'm just still not happy with the outcome. This lash lift adds to the crookedness of my face. I'm sure their other services are much better and they're all worth a professional price, but not with a lash lift based on my experience.

I went with my friend Andrea, who's kind of any intermediate makeup maven and she started right in with the questions..."is this too dark? do you think this would look good on me? does this look like a shade darker?" I'm like, "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" *sounds of a faucet dripping in my brain* as I give her a wide eyed stare as if I'm looking straight through her. Anyway, I tell her that is why the ladies that work there work there...i.e. to help her. So the gals and my pal strike up conversation and trade secrets and talk about people they follow on Instagram and I'm thinking that she is never going to purchase any makeup. So much for a "quick trip in just to pick a few things up". While the ladies were preening over each other I took some time to scope the place out. Many of the stations and counters appeared to be in need of a sanitary wipedown with alcohol or something. There were just smudges and fingerprints and swabs and cotton all over the place. It just didn't give off a clean feel to me. Then I started to wonder how many people put their crusty busted lips and leaking eyes all over the sticks & liners and go digging with their funky fingers in all the compacts as a few of the ladies that were in there were doing. I'm sure they have a cleaning regime and you gals obviously know what you're doing when it comes to makeup. The gals on duty were very nice and happy to search and find something if you couldn't find it or even order it. They have all the basics but this store is kind of small though as it's not a full store, just a hotspot in Macys.

Katie was absolutely beyond the perfect example of customer service. I gave her a hug at the end of…read moremy purchase.... Very long story short - for the past 13 years, my family has endured outrageously difficult trails. In that time, I lost a big part of myself and hadn't been taking care of myself for years and years. I'm trying to get better with that. I rarely shop for myself (our medical bills are endless), but I decided to just get out and try to spruce myself up some. I've missed MAC...the lipstick is just one of those items that makes me happy. And the eye shadows. Sigh. I know that may sound superficial, but trust me, I'm so far from that. So, I go in just wanting to find a new lipstick that has a little more life than my bare lips and my years old nude lipsticks. I'm 42 and always worried about looking like I'm trying to be 25 again. I tend to err on the side of boredom these day rather than a spark of fabulous. This was my tiny attempt to break a thread of boring for a moment. In walks Katie. First off, she and the other very lovely sales associate (I didn't catch her name - she was wonderful) greeted me in such a genuine way. We instantly started chatting...from dry shampoo to how I just need a little pick me up to brighten my summer. Now, I owned a business for 10 year in Vegas. I have also led a major corporation customer service training program for current employees. I'm a stickler for excellent customer service. I'm not a jerk though...I realize sometimes people just have a bad day. I can also spot a fake in a heartbeat. Nothing gripes my shorts more than someone who is obviously trying to just get a sale. I love it when I meet people like I did today. Instant connection and sincere hearts. I never once felt like they were trying to up-sell or that they were pumping me full of complements just to make me fall in love with the product. Katie was responsive to my concerns, to my opinions of what I do and don't like, and she answered my questions with many options. She was so kind and patient. After trying many combinations of lip colors and liners, I asked her about powder foundations. I used to wear MAC liquid foundation ages ago, but have been using another major brand powder foundation since. I have oily skin and don't like thick liquid foundations that feel cakey (which is every liquid foundation of any brand, to me). She not only found the perfect color, but she picked the most gorgeous blush as well. I won't even start on how long it's taken me to find such the perfect shade. The other lovely woman then came over with a little bit of sunshine and rainbow cream (I obviously don't have the product in front of me and I'm too tired to get off my rear to get it or look it up online lol) and dolled up the top of my cheeks and under my eyes. It made me look alive and like I was back in the game of life again. I know that last line sounds a bit dramatic. From everything I've been through, it's truly the little things in life that make a big difference. Even beautiful MAC products, but especially Katie. I'm definitely going to go back, hopefully soon, to have her teach me how to do my makeup again and with an updated 42 year old version. I haven't been this excited to do something for me in years. Years and years. Thank you, Katie.

What a hidden gem in little 'ol Tumwater! I saw reviews for Jesseca on Yelp and was impressed by…read moreeverything that clients had to say about her and her services, so I booked. She is super warm, engaging, friendly, yet professional and made me feel right at home. Her little room is so beautiful, inviting, and relaxing. Jesseca knows her stuff! She examined my skin and it's condition and then talked to me about a maintenance plan. She was not pushy and came off as being very helpful and wanting to work with me within my budget and skin care needs - refreshing! She explained what she was using, why, and how it would help. Her bedside manner was truly the best I have experienced (besides my sis who is an esthetician but lives in another state). She was technical and relaxing all at the same time. She gave the best arm and hand massage ever. I can tell she loves her job and could feel the love pouring out as she massaged and took care of my facial. Hard to describe but if you have ever had a "clinical" facial or a facial with someone who just isn't that into it - you can definitely feel the difference. I get facials to help slow the aging process but also for relaxation and Jesseca hit both of those areas exactly perfect! She even offered fuzzy warm socks to keep my feet warm. The bed was super comfortable and cozy too. Jesseca's pricing is reasonable, which is one of the biggest factors for me. I don't have a ton of discretionary money so I want value for services and you definitely get it here. Jesseca even told me about a special package she was offering, which I ended up purchasing as it was a good value. I can't wait to go back and continue with routine care. She carries Image products which feel amazing to the skin. Online booking was ridiculously easy with nice reminders leading up the appointment. Easy parking, easy to find, right off I-5 for those who may want to travel to Tumwater. Lots of services offered at different price points. If you have shopped around, you know her prices are reasonable. This is not a "super spa" with a glitzy glamorous ambiance and ridiculous prices to match - this is a simple little spa that is clean and warm and perfect for those looking to take care of yourself, either splurging or on a budget. There is nothing small town about her services, though. She is excellent at what she does. So happy I found Jesseca. I will be back and plan on being a loyal customer from here forward. I am looking forward to trying her airbrush tan services prior to a vacation in March. Yelp for the win, again!

The spray tan itself is phenomenal. Smells fresh, and unlike every other spray tan I've ever had, it was not sticky! I immediately saw color too which was nice. I am looking forward to see how well it swears in the Las Vegas heat for the next few days. She definitely has my business and I am looking forward to recommending her to friends and family.
