    caprese sandwich.

What an adorable and quaint little place. I tried the caprese sandwich. I love a good caprese salad and the sandwich was just delicious! The menu is the cutest presentation and the staff was great!

Good food but limited options for vegetarian. Potatoes were a bit overpriced. Service is quick but the servers don't really pay attention to what you might need - for example no one asks for water, etc., they just bring the food you ordered.

Food was so good, and the vibe was immaculate! It's little but right on the water and great view of the mountains over town

The food and ambiance was great, but there was no individual seating at the bar and the large group at the 'family style' table sorta made me feel like I was impeding. Very classy, very mindful, not very demure.

Amazing service and delicious food with a view! The avocado toast was probably the best I've ever had. So nice to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Seriously great service!!!

Very accommodating, friendly and down to earth atmosphere, food was great! Smaller plates but they were filling!

    Burrata Plate - amazing!!

Came here after our cruise let out in Seward. Among the many cool places to eat in the city, I think this is a must. I had a coffee (perfect) and the wife had a jalapeño-lime flavored mimosa, which she loved. We split the Burrata plate, which was chock full of delicious olives, olive oil and onions, topped with a very generous dollop of cheese. The chef gave us plenty of sourdough to layer it on and even offered a refill when we ran out. Be warned - there are only 10 seats in the restaurant - but I believe it is intentional to give the place a really homey feel!

    Can't beat this view.

Cozy little wine bar with great charcuterie trays and the best view in town. The avocado toast is a must (best in the state!) as well as the sandwiches.

Great food and great view! Couldn't even resist taking a bite of this yummy sandwich before snapping this pic.

This is a cute little wine bar with relaxing music and breathtaking views. This is also a small boutique shop.

Smoked fish board. It had two different types of smoked fish, two spreads (similar to a whitefish salad) &berries

I planned a small wedding in the area and worked with Carri on catering options and she knocked it out of the park.

All dishes were cooked perfectly again. The fried chicken was lightly breaded and sat on top of an Asian slaw that was the perfect acidity to balance with the fried chicken. The grits had the right texture and was delicious. My halibut was seasoned with tons of flavor and cooked to perfection. Do you see a theme here? We sat near where the cook and prep the dishes before going to their respective tables. This place hums like a well oiled engine. Going to the owner's sister restaurant tomorrow and can't wait.

We took a walk to the waterfront for 15-20 mins and could have easily gotten a drink somewhere or done some window shopping. Everything was really good - starting with salmon gougere amuse bouche, the soup of the day (curry carrot?), and local oysters to the smoked scallop cocktail. The fried chicken, salmon, and shrimp and grits. We ended up ordering the cream cheese ice cream which ended up taking FOREVER since they forgot about it and never checked on us. Unfortunately the cream cheese ice cream was also kinda disappointing and was just like scooped frozen cheesecake - which don't get me wrong is delish but not worth the wait or $. Service was good until the end. Great wine options! Prices on par with SF and presumably Alaska/touristy areas.

This place is like a mini-Whole Foods mixed with some touristy stuff mixed in. Mind you, this is…read moretouristy stuff that is actually thoughtful and that locals would want to buy! The 5-stars is mainly for being open year-round. Seward is a ghost town in the winter. It feels like 80% of business are closed, making it challenging and frustrating for Alaska residents to visit in the off-season. The main/only negative is that the prices are high, really high. Also, the anti-science rhetoric around GMO foods is a huge turnoff. We need more science in our food supply chain, not less. Fear mongering and food shaming (see also: "clean eating") by people of great privilege is not helpful to improving the outcomes of those that are less fortunate. GMO fresh veggies are about 1000X as healthy as non-GMO, organic, GF cookies. Not everyone can afford massively expensive organic/non-GMO/GF/etc products. And eating those is not necessary for good health for the vast majority of people.

Great natural grocery and wellness shop…read more Everything is pretty much full sized here - so it's more for local grocery shopping. So much healthy goodness! A mini Whole Foods: pantry, frozen, beauty and even a cafe/smoothie shop in the back! We stopped in to do some browsing, ended up with some healing hand lotion, sulfate free dried organic cranberries and some cute Darn Tough socks for gifts.
