    Baklava Bar

In office work week. Cooking yeah no. So to my friendly yelp app I go. I come in and Vanessa in the restaurant portion takes my food order. What to my wandering eyes should appear they have a flipping coffee baklava bar. Stop it and Turkish coffee first time I had it was in Tempe at one of the oldest Middle Eastern grocery store restaurants in AZ Haji Baba. Theirs is on that same punch you in your face coffee kick. Leah hooked up the coffee. The interior is gorgeous, due to my Ozempic journey my foodie experience are sample everything on the plate and I'll have a few days of leftovers. I had the lamb shank entree, can we say perfectly cooked tender and flavorful on the bed of rice flipping 5 stars. Love the dolma tender flavorful. I got baklava to go I'll likely update the review once I try them. My only 3 stars was the hummus it was a little too whipped for me & I would have preferred more lemon. The Greek salad 4 stars less dressing but I will get on side next visit but it was good. Customer service is missing in today's world but Vanessa & Leah nailed it. FLUFFY GRANDMA RECOMMENDS

I can't decide if I love the people or food more!! My husband said it's the best gyro he's ever had and I love their plates that include a meat, salad, hummus, pita, and rice. So much good for a great price and I always have leftovers for the next day. They have delicious fries too!! The Medjool cafe inside is also a nice perk for some treats and coffee. This is their newest location and is very beautiful inside and out, with lots of seating. The staff are all incredible, very kind and helpful. I love Princess Pita soooo much!!!

    #2 Chicken Shawarma Entree

Princess Pita offers a decent meal, but it didn't quite hit the mark for us. My wife ordered the Falafel Entree, which included falafel, salad, rice, hummus, and pita bread, while I had the Chicken Shawerma Entree, served with chicken breast, salad, rice, and hummus. The ambiance was basic but clean, and the service was great. However, the food itself lacked inspiration and felt fairly average. We've found other spots in the valley that offer more authentic or flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine, so we likely won't be rushing back.

Outstanding Mediterranean food in midtown! More and more great ethnic restaurants are coming to Phoenix and princess Pita makes a mark. Delicious selections and the hummus was spot on! The servers were attentive and they catered to my girlfriend's allergies. It's a large open space with plenty of seating and I'll definitely return.

Went during lunch it was a nice clean restaurant. There is coffee and pastries also. I ordered grilled chicken plate. Food was good.. The portion was pretty big considering the $18 price. It's not place with wait staff but rather you order and grab a seat.

came here for the coffee shop inside - Medjool Cafe and can't wait to come back and try all their good flavors. I also need to try the food here next time as it looked amazing. The people are very attentive here and I like the music too. It's a really pretty spacious atmosphere and not too loud. I got the white chocolate pistachio latte and it was just a little too sweet for me, but I am still down to try the other flavors.

    Gyro Deluxe and Greek Fries

Co-worker and I stopped in for lunch. We each ordered gyros with Greek fries. She chose regular gyro and I went to the Deluxe. Gyro was pretty good. It had pickles on it which I'm not used too and might order without next time. Flavor was good, though not too strong. The Greek fries were pretty good, but might want to try putting some in the basket, adding some toppings and repeat so all the fries get a chance at the feta and tzatziki. The interior is really nicely decorated. Simple, yet pleasing and clean. The sweets at the Medjool Cafe looked amazing and we both said we're definitely coming back to try some of those. But we also want to return to try some of the other menu items. The entrees looked delicious! Great to have something new in the neighborhood! Looking forward to many more great lunches!

American portions (HUGE). Fries were crispy I got em Greek style cuz I be flowing like dat. Pricey but that's obvious because Trump ruined the economy and makes us pay Patriot Prices. Food got done fast!!! Congrats kitchen, you guys must have hit the penjamin beforehand and locked in. Also the desserts were soooooo yummers

I usually like to visit a spot a couple times before I review but we really enjoyed the food and the staff were really nice. We ordered the gyro deluxe, dolma pita and hummus, my son had #12. Dolma was delicious, our gyros were so good, the Greek fries we loved. My son enjoyed his chicken plate, I tried some of his rice and the flavor of it was so good. We tried a couple different baklavas and so very good. The atmosphere is pretty chill, portions are pretty big. Definitely going to be coming back.

We went on the grand opening night, and the staff despite being quite busy provided excellent service. The building has beautiful art and helps set the scene and culture of the restaurant. For food, we ordered the Greek fries, the shawarma combo plate, and the steak kebab plate. The Greek fries were a standout. They were crispy, crunchy, and well seasoned. The shawarma plate was large and good value. We were also pleasantly surprised by the amount of pita bread we received on the side. However, we felt the beef on the shawarma plate was too salty, and the steak kebab was too bland. The chicken on the shawarma was perfectly seasoned. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will return!

Stopped by here today for lunch with my parents and had a wonderful meal. We ordered chicken kabob, steak kabob, and kofta entrees. I also ordered some Turkish coffee. Everything was delicious. The staff was very kind. We waited a very short time before our food came out. The establishment is very well kept. Everything is very clean and maintained. The ambiance is wonderful in there. They've got a beautiful mural outside as well. Looking very forward to coming back here.

Just off of Central with plenty of parking in the back side. You walk in the back through a patio with outdoor seating. The lighting is very inviting with the clean ambiance. There is a coffee shop inside as well for your caffeine fix. Everything looks very clean. Friendly staff greeted me as soon as we walked in. Apparently this location recently opened. Walk up to the counter and order. I had a gyro and Greek fries with a side of falafels. Very good. Tasted the chicken shawarma and it too was delicious. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made sure all our needs were met. I can't wait to go back and try the Turkish coffee, which looked really good. Bathrooms were clean, which always brings a smile to my face.

This was a pretty good choice by a friend of mine. Food was great and service was excellent. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Inside is really nice and clean. They also have coffee here that I hope to try while here too.

We had the Chicago gyros, chicken schwarma, beef kofta, lemon rice soup, tabbouleh salad and fries. All were great, but the fries were outstanding! I've eaten a lot of fried potatoes in my life, and really none better. They rounded out the meal-hot, fresh, crunchy and soft. Perfect! If I had to have a "complaint," the lemon garlic aioli on the schwarma was a bit too much, get that "on the side" so you can manage that. Otherwise a great meal. OPA!

The kebab consists of steak, lettuce, fries, paprika, onions, and tzatziki. I made it a combo with fries and a drink. Overall, an average meal. A little on the smaller side when it comes to the portion size too. I've had a bunch of excellent kebabs in my day. The food here is a notch or two below that. Not bad by any means, just average. The meat lacked the seasoning and tenderness that would make it an A+ meal. With that being said, if you're looking for a quick meal downtown, Nick the Greek makes for a decent choice.
