Phong did an amazing job on my nails. They look beautiful and he is very gentle. I almost always get a cut due to dry skin but not at all with phong. Pedicure was done by Angie. Not the best. The massage was more like just lightly rubbing my skin and she initially used the wrong treatment. Over all though, good experience and will return. read more

This place is my favorite place for a mani and pedi. It took them about 1.5 hrs to complete my mani/pedi and I do not mind at all. The nail tech thoroughly cleaned my cuticles and took the time to massage my hands and feet. They made suggestions and the end results were beautiful. They also give you your own pack of tools they use on you and when they are done they give it to you to take home! It was great to see that they took the time in ensuring the end results were perfect. I got gel nails and a traditional pedicure and it came out to 55$ with my tip included. Not bad at all. Today was second time coming here for acrylics and I was pleased with my experience. I came to the salon knowing what I wanted. I showed my nail tech a picture of what I wanted (a French ombré with neon pink tips and a nude base). She then asked me to help her chose which colored acrylic powder to use because they did have a variety of neon pinks and nudes (if this makes sense ). My nail tech really wanted to give me what I wanted. She did one nail and asked me if I liked it. It looked beautiful and exactly like the picture, but I didn't like the neon pink on me. I told her what I thought and we both agreed to do a regular French ombré tip with white tips. She redid the nail with no hesitation or negative attitude. She paid attention to detail, shaped each nail perfectly, and blended each nail perfectly. I am very picky with nail salons, and this place is worth the drive all the way from Espanola. Would recommend and will definitely be returning. read more

I went here once before and it was great. Today I brought three friends with me and they got great treatment. My tech didn't show up for a long time after the other three techs showed up, yet I was done sooner than they were and we all requested the same treatment. I did not get the full calf massage I paid for nor one of the scrubs I paid for. My little toenail snagged on my sock later today - a couple of the toenails were not trimmed very well. Looks like the polish is all smeared already too. I think I'll try a new salon next time and take my friends with me. read more

Not impressed. One lady asked me what I wanted done . I explained that I wanted gel nails and a trim. She said that was fine. Then another lady came and I explained again. I asked to just trim my nails and they were trimmed much more than I expected. I asked to use two colors. As she finished two nails I asked when she was going to use the second color. She seemed like she forgot. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. She showed me on one finger and the second color wasn't symmetrical, just a blob. She tried again and I said never mind, just forgot the second color. There was a young man that was working on a lady's nails next to me. He could hear our discussion and the apparent language barrier I was having trying to explain what I wanted but he didn't help. I regret not asking him to help me explain. I might be back but I wasn't impressed by this lady's work. read more

My fiancée want to take both of us out for a pedicure, my first one. We called around 12pm and asked if they had any appointments for 2 pedicures. They replied that yes they did at 4:45pm. We took it, I was skeptical since that was soon for a place that is rated this high on yelp. We got to the place at about 4:35pm and did not see two seats free for pedicures so we tried to get the attention of an employee. When we finally did we were told that it would be a 5 minutes for a 2 chairs that are apart or 10 minutes to get two chairs that are next together. We opted to wait the 10 minutes, what's the point of going together if you can't sit next to each other? So around 5pm my fiancée finally gets a chair and we are told the lady next to her only needs 5 more minutes. When I sneak a peak at her toes that didn't even start painting them yet, sure 5 more minutes; but I figured I am not a nail artist so what do I know? Surprise they don't offer me my chair next to my fiancée until 5:20pm. At this point I just decline to get mine done at all. Overall if you don't value your time, please use this place. If you do value your time, go somewhere else. read more

This is my all time favorite nail salon. I have been going to Princess for about 3 years now and they have never let me down. Everyone in the salon is super nice and attentive. They can do anything you ask them to do. If you show them a picture of what you like they'll get it right the first time! I recommend making appointments so that you can get exactly what you want as they are usually super busy with full chairs. My go to girl is Jenny, but I've been a client of most of the employees and they all do a wonderful job!! I have had leg waxing, facial waxing, pedis and manis, and have been very pleased with each service. They are extremely busy any time I have been in the salon. I've been in Abq for almost 6 years and have gone to many nail salons in that time. This one was great! First, my sister and I walked in on a busy Sunday without an appointment and still managed to get seen within 15-20 min. (Recommend calling in advance to see how busy they are and whether or not you should make an appointment, or just be put on the wait list.) Second, they don't up-charge for the different regular polishes with the silver tops. I've been to salons that charge extra for different types of regular polish! I can understand up-charging for gel, but regular?! Third, they did a great job with both of our classic mani/pedis. I didn't feel rushed, they made sure to do plenty of base and top coats, and they were careful about sensitive cuticle issues. They also didn't try to pressure me into other services like designs, massage, wax etc. And last, but not least, the price was great: $35 with tax and tip for the Classic mani/pedi. We'll see how long it lasts, but seems like they did a quality job. Oh, and they give you a packet with your own scrub brush and file for the next time you come back, and they do punch cards. Noisy, crowded, not enough places to sit when they're busy, "appointment" times don't mean anything to them (be prepared to wait around until whenever they're free, even if you've made an appointment), the place smells like nail product chemicals and has horrible air circulation, and flies were continuously buzzing around my nail tech as I got my pedicure. Speaking of my pedicure, they gave me first degree burns on my feet from the temperature of the paraffin wax.. The lady next to me told me they just keep it in a crock pot and I doubt they check the temperature (it's probably boiling). The lines on my nail design are wobbly and crooked, and I wished I had known the language these people spoke, because my nail tech was constantly talking to the nail tech beside her in this other language, and it seemed like they were talking badly about their customers -- it was very rude and unprofessional. Overall the customer service and whole experience was terrible except for the fact they gave me my pedicure for free because of all of this. I've been to this place twice and I tried to give it another chance since the reviews seem so amazing, but I will never be going back now and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more
