**Edit to company response from google 5/30/24 I am partial homeowner, I took ownership in 2021 through the existing mortgage. My mother also the owner and policy holder - whom you guys have avoided and who is at a communication disadvantage due to english being her second language, I have had to step in. We, the client of HomeServe a Home Warranty company - would never have to pay for your services. That is why I pay for home warranty and have full coverage for my mainline. The issues I have as a homeowner and an unfortunate customer of Priority and Plumbing due to them being contracted by HomeServe - Said they would fix our sprinkler lines and electrical in Nov 2023 they destroyed. - Got avoided by this company for 6 months UNTIL it was discovered they didn't replace 4ft of the original pipe that had SEVERE root intrusion (the entire reason we got our mainline replaced.) - 05/01/2024 Sean Farris said they would fix the sprinklers and has avoided us once again. This company absolutely did not go above and beyond. Priority Plumbing and Heating HAD to come back to fix a problem they were legally contracted to fix in Nov 2023 and did NOT complete. Above and beyond for adding some soil? The stress and financial burden this has caused has been significant. Original post 5/29/2024 Another bad Sean Farris (VP/ Owner) review on a mainline replacement (Estimated $18,000+ Insurance job.) On November 9, 2023 Priority Plumbing and Heating Littleton was hired to replace and install a new mainline on our property by my home warranty company (HomeServe.) They acted in several negligent ways, did not complete the job they were paid to perform, destroyed my front yard, sprinkler lines and electrical. When we raised the concerns to Sean - Sean Farris, told us to kick rocks and that our concerns were not his issue. We were persistent and knew this job was not done correctly. He continues to give us the run around for 6 months, he was conveniently always in a "meeting." After paying a 3rd party to scope out and make note of all the things Priority Plumbing and Heating did wrong, they told me it would be $18k+ to fix their mistakes. I had a demand letter written up to get them to pay attention to the issues that I had complained about for 6 months. Things they did wrong: - Did not backfill our soil causing a sinking trench. - Cut all of our sprinkler lines/ electrical and buried them. - Failed to replace our mainline in its entirely, left with severe root intrusion. - Failed to clean up - left old clay pipe strung along our front yard. - Clean out caps were below ground level, improperly glued and secured. Fast forward May 01 2024 - Priority Plumbing and heating said they would replace the rest of the line that they failed to replace the first time, clean up the trash they left, back fill our soil that was sinking into a trench, and get someone to fix our sprinkler lines/ electrical. Once Sean and his crew came to fix their original issues - his crew member showed us that our mainline was leaking sewage into our front yard for six months from. Sean never mentioned anything to us other than everything looks great. Now its a month later 5/28/24 - Sean Farris wont return my phone calls about getting our sprinkler lines/ electrical fixed, he continues to be in "meetings" Company's motto is - we were paid to replace the line and thats it. If we break it, its not our issue. Spent over $3,000 to get my sprinkler lines and electrical fixed, had to pay to get my line scoped by a third party. Spent 6 months trying to get them to fix their mistakes. Avoid at all costs They came back was because they HAD to. HomeServe was made aware Priority Plumbing and Heating did not perform the job in its entirety that they were paid to do. IF not for that, I would still have sewage leaking into my yard, unfinished mainline, a sinking trench etc. 5/28 President of Priority called my fiancé after leaving a bad BBB review because he was required to by the BBB. He was NOT trying to resolve the issue and make it right but wanted the complaint taken down.

The "new" cartridge that was cracked when they installed it
    Adrienne R.

***Updated review: Priority was extremely professional when working on a resolution to my issue*** Grossly incompetent plumbers. I had a leaking faucet which only needed a new cartridge. Priority Plumbing sent 2 different plumbers, and a manager, but after 9 visits, they couldn't fix the issue. During the multiple visits, one of the plumbers caused several other plumbing issues throughout my house. They then attempted to charge an exorbitant additional fee to "find another resolution" to the problem. I then called another plumbing company who was able to change the cartridge and stop the leak in less than 2 hours. I gave the plumbing manager, Ben Napier, an opportunity to refund the cartridge replacement fee and he didn't bother to respond. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I had Priority replace my main water line in October of 2018. At the time i felt that the did a really good job. Keith did a good job of selling his company. They were NOT the lowest bid, at $4500.00. I did have a lower bid from PipeX, who has pissed me off in the past by doing quick and dirty work, I went with Priority anyway because i thought they would do better quality work. Well, turns out they use cheap parts. It's been almost 2 years (22 months) and I just noticed that the ball valve the put in as the main shut off has been leaking and is nearly rusted out. I contacted their office to see if they would cover the repair, and of course, since it's been over a year, they won't. A quality ball valve should not leak after 2 years, not even after 20 and a company should be willing to back their work for more than a year. Use quality parts and you shouldn't have a problem. If you use them for any plumbing, I would get your own parts and not let them use the cheap contractor pack stuff they get. It will save you some effort or money later. I'll be replacing both my main water line valves myself.

Sludge coming off the cooling pipes thanks to priority not putting a filter in my new unit
    Mike A.

At first i was happy with the service, except for the gash in my front door they left as they banged the door with the new unit. But then i went to change the air filter after it had been in use for 6 weeks and discovered the technician did not put a filter in the unit. Actually, let me correct that. He might have, but the water heater had a gas leak i discovered the day after they replaced the AC/ furnace. He may have taken the filter out then and then forgot to put it back. Good thing i discovered that gas leak, or i may have gone caboom since the furnace room is closed and it would probably exploded before i smelt the gas. When the tech came out to address the missing filter, all they wanted to do was put a filter in. Funny how critical it is to replace the filter every month, but when they drop the ball it's not a big deal. I have pictures of the sludge coming off the coils, but they tell me it's all good, evenv guy though my electric bill went from $115 to $175 last month. When you spend $10,000 on a new furnace/ac, you expect to have a new efficient unit. Guess i have to learn to live with it. Least i can do is let everyone know to double check these guys' work, less you end up wondering how did you get screwed here when you were just trying to do the right thing.

We had to have a back flow issue resolved per Denver Water which entailed removing a hose bib connected to our main water line and sweat capping the open part of the "T". Nathan came out and not only removed the hose bib, but instead of sweat capping the opening, actually removed the "T" altogether. He also fixed and replaced the water pressure gauge which was incorrectly installed by another plumber. He went above and beyond, all with a smile on his face. He was super nice and knowledgeable and said the training he received by management ensures all of their techs as pleasant and knowledgeable as he is. These guys are really good and the owners must really know what they are doing. I have been burned multiple times with various plumbers. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Leak was never fixed b4 new floor done.

Hyper Flow Service has been my trusted plumbers since 2021, for the past 4.5+ years. The owner,…read moreKyle, has also referred me to my equally trustworthy HVAC/Electrician, ArkEHC, and I couldn't be happier! I've worked with David, Jacob, Brian, and James, and can't speak more highly of all of them! They've all helped me in various ways, the past few years, during both emergencies and routine maintenance. It all started in Labor Day 2021, when I had just flown here from Arlington, VA (Washington, DC), to "hug my dad for surviving COVID," as he returned home from the hospital after starting at the VA, then being at a private hospital for 5-weeks, and he was scheduled to be discharged Labor Day weekend, just as his basement sewage plumbing backed up! I was so overwhelmed. I called 1.800 Water Mitigation, to remove all the HAZMAT, then get going on the dehumidifiers, fans, and worked with USAA to re-build the entire basement thereafter, and for the stopped-up toilet, I called Hyper Flow. James helped me snake the basement toilet, and begin to explain all of home plumbing to me. That was 4-years ago. Then I began hiring Hyper Flow to slowly rebuild two upstairs toilets that my dad had perhaps not maintained as well as ideal (he was on fixed income, after all, so no judgment), as well as the two upstairs bathroom sinks, then ultimately I hired them to replace the Kitchen Sink Faucet (James did this work, as Brian was the manager, who helped me assess the problem and do the estimate). James also helped me get my Water Heater (that a different company installed, that was no up-to-code) up to code, per the retroactive Home Inspection, and James helped me install a mainline water shutoff. My house is finally in ship-shape - on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC - all thanks to Kyle, the owner of Hyper Flow. Highly recommend! FYI, they've also jetted my lateral sewage line pipes - twice - and I will be hiring them for the excavation of the line that connects to my HOA main sewage line, before it connects to the City of Denver, once that time comes. Great work, great value, and - most of all - I trust them & their work.

Family-owned business and I liked the owner. I got a new home and decided to call them again, and boy I made a big mistake. Not sure what happened in the last two years but had to come back and change my review. First, they told me they would be here from 8-9. This was a time they offered up as I was trying to get them to come earlier, but decided it made more sense and since they said I would be "first up" on their schedule, I figured fine why not. At 9:20 I texted them asking what their ETA was. At that point I received a text changing my appointment to 9:30-10:30. At 10:50 a technician showed up. I showed the guy what I needed, mentioned that I'd used them before and said I just wanted the same thing they offered me last time. He said "our system is different now hold on" and he proceeds to pull out an iPad that has prices ranging from $780-$2,500 for the "platinum" package whatever the hell that means. I just needed a faucet replaced, which I thought would be no more than $400 or so (a little higher than the price I paid two years ago). He told me "well prices have increased" and I said not by that much. I asked him to explain how much of the price was parts, how much was labor, and he said it's the flat rate they charge for that job. When it became clear that he was not going to budge, I politely asked him to leave. There are so many other options, and maybe I should have been a little smarter about doing it in a cheaper way, but the way I was treated on scheduling and the company's scammy pricing was enough to have me come back and change my review.

I mentioned to the tech that the upstairs didn't get quite as cold as I would like; while I suspected some of that could be system/ductwork limitations, he suggested that we could add a little more freon to the system in the event there was a possible slow leak. Ultimately, he ended up adding freon to both the upstairs and main floor unit, and unexpectedly much more to the main floor unit. The price after the fact surprised me, especially given that particular unit had appeared to have been working fine; the tech told me it was possible that unit had a leak. He informed me Summit would schedule a leak investigation if desired, but that it would cost a whopping $1,100, so I declined given the performance on that unit had been fine. Fast forward a week or two, and the main floor is quite hot. The ducts seem to be blowing hot air. At which point it became clear to me the unit has actually stopped functioning. I call Summit, which is busy with appointments and express my dismay that the unit stopped working after the tuneup. They tell me it may be a leak etc., but they will send someone out. I wait for the scheduled appointment and the tech that arrives this time clearly didn't look over the prior notes or photos before arrival. I explain to him the situation, and he was confused about which unit was implicated, and claimed that the prior pressure readings from the earlier tech clearly indicated there was a leak (which was not at all what I was told). He later retracted this statement after realizing what time of day the earlier appointment was and said those pressure readings were normal. He poked around briefly, but without much investigation declared the system to have a leak, and indicated there was an 80% chance of it being non-repairable. He indicated they would have to do the $1,100 search to locate the leak, and if it was in the condenser/evaporative coils it would not be repairable. If it was somewhere else in the line, it could be, but then they would possibly have to tear into my walls, etc. to identify the issue. When I asked how much a new unit would be, he gave me a rough quote of $15,000, but told me that they would have to look at specs to price out more specifically. I asked him to do so, given I wanted to know what I was looking at, and he appeared inconvenienced by the request and said it would take him an hour. (It did not.) During that process, the tech told me my ductwork was not sufficient and I would need to downsize my unit, and that the smaller size wouldn't be enough to cool the floor. He suggested my unit may have broken because I keep the basement vents closed, but then he also claimed these A/C units only last about ten years. The whole visit felt performative, and ultimately was much more focused on theoretical salesmanship than anything diagnostic. I was left pretty frustrated. I called out a different repair company recommended by a friend, and within 5 minutes he had identified the leak and the location in the coil. Contrary to what I was told by Summit, this company informed me the coil could be replaced and that I had many more years of life left in the unit. Within the week, I got the whole thing repaired and refilled for ~$1,200--not much more than the cost of a Summit "leak search." While I've had positive and knowledgeable techs with Summit, this whole experience was such a breach of trust that I will not be using them again. I had another company inspect my furnaces this fall for a fraction of the cost, and I will not be looking back.
