I worked with this pool company for over 6 months, and my experience was very disappointing. From the beginning, they present themselves as professional with messages about filter cleaning and routine maintenance, but in reality the focus is constant upselling. They provided inspection reports filled with unnecessary and misleading claims, including telling me my pool motor needed replacement and suggesting multiple expensive "repairs" that were not actually needed. The most serious issue was with my pool heater. They initially claimed it was not working. Later, without my knowledge or consent, a technician turned it on. I only discovered it the next day when my gas bill jumped from around $60 to $450. When I confronted them, they first denied responsibility and said their technician did not do it. Only after a long dispute and the possibility of legal action did they reimburse me. Service quality was also inconsistent. Different technicians showed up almost every week, and the pool was often not properly cleaned. Ron has been taking care of our pool for 4+ years and as long as I own a pool in Vegas, I won't use anyone else. He is an amazing person and because of that, he is honest and truly care for his clients. One day, my mom was visiting me and got sick. I had already pre-planned trip to SF and was out of town. My dad called and texted my mom but couldn't get hold of her and called me worrying about her wellbeing since she was too sick and I wasn't home. It was during work hours and I couldn't find anyone to go check on her since all of my friends were at work. I called Ron if he was in my area and if he could stop by at my place to check on my mom. He was 15-20 min away. He immediately went over to my house and let me know my mom was ok (Thankfully she was just taking a rest and phone was dead). This is one of many examples of how of an amazing person Ron is. He would fix my backyard gate if it's wobbly, let me know if my dog was acting strange when he came by and got out of his way to help me to get the best prices on parts when my pool needed replacement parts. Excellent service! Purchased/Installed pool with California Pools. Ron came to do our "pool school" . Super nice guy. Very patient. Very knowledgeable. We knew nothing about pools other than what we researched prior to the purchase of pool. Ron went over every detail ie. Chemicals, mechanics, electrical panel/automation possibilities etc. We felt confident with a few new pieces of equipment and this new knowledge we could maintain our pool ourselves. However, with 2 little ones and lots of construction still going around the pool (patio cover, grass, rocks, etc) we thought it best to hire Priority Pools. Best decision! We had shavings of metal in pool from patio cover, debris from landscape, and issue that blew fuse and pool couldnt run etc. In every instance Ron himself or someone from crew came out that day or the next and sometimes multiple days in a row to ensure everything was in tip top shape. Priority Pools is wonderful. The pool service technician reported that there were some leaks in my system. Priority's office contacted me that day and we set up an appointment to have the problem evaluated. A repair technician was out the next day and explained the problems and solution and indicated that his supervisor would review his findings and provide a quote. While we were speaking, I also requested a quote on a new motor. The following day I received two quotes. After reviewing them, I emailed an acceptance of the quote for the quote that included the new motor. The following day, I was contacted by a very nice woman from the repair department to schedule an appointment for the repair. Within about a week of being informed of the leak, the new motor, pipes and connections were completed. The repair technician did a fantastic job and even labeled everything for me. I'm very happy with the installation of the new equipment and all the people from Priority Pools who made happen so quickly.
