After a small amount of electronic paperwork and a few signatures you're moved into one of the five comfortable and super clean treatment rooms to meet with the doc. Dr. Popa understood exactly what I was feeling even when I couldn't articulate the unpleasantness of the anesthesia hangover. He took took the time to explain the methylation process and recommended people who struggle with detoxification get the Immunity Wellness Drip with Glutathione. They use a numbing spray to lessen the pain of the needle, which you barely feel. Your arm is then wrapped in a toasty heating pan to eliminated the chill of the fluid. I was offered water and asked to eat the snack they provided (I was told the Vit C can lower your blood sugar.) My husband was allowed to come and go and they offered him the same amenities while he waited too. With Dr. Popa's suggestion of a daily glutathione supplant along with extra B12/folate I am feeling 10x better and on the road to detoxification. During his visit, his condition deteriorated rapidly. He became pale, began sweating profusely, appeared disoriented, and nearly lost consciousness. His condition became serious enough that I called 911, and he was transported by ambulance to the emergency room for evaluation and treatment. As a result, our family incurred more than $1,400 in emergency medical bills, in addition to other expenses. Since then, I have attempted to resolve this matter professionally. I sent certified correspondence requesting reimbursement or, at a minimum, the contact information for Ashara's professional liability insurance carrier so the claim could be handled appropriately. I also requested copies of the medical records and other relevant documentation. Despite these efforts, I have received no response. I understand that unexpected medical events can occur, but what has been most disappointing is the complete lack of communication afterward. Ignoring a patient's family after such a serious incident does not reflect the level of professionalism or accountability I expected. I hope Ashara Health & Wellness will choose to respond and work toward resolving this matter.
