When he got her today, he said he wasn't going to remove the plugs for that price, and said I should get someone else if I want to. So I am! I would just like to know how he could BACKWASH the pool if the plugs were not removed. What am I missing here?? I would never recommend him.

Hole in the filter put a TON of diatomaceous earth into my pool. Have you ever tried to get diatomaceous earth out of the pool? The worst. I sent lots of pictures to them trying to figure out why my pool wasn't clearing up as they had said it would "in a few days". There was no response Called Leslie's and they helped me diagnose the problem. Oh ya! I also had to buy a new PUMP motor. Too bad as I had high hopes for the couple. I paid them too quickly after the opening. Guess that's what they were mostly interested in. Not a good way to get return business.

I found Matt on Yelp, and he came out in the dark a couple days later to measure the size I would need. He showed me where to order the right liner to be sent to me, then came out and spent most of a Sunday installing it. He gave me instructions to replace a portion of the filter line, and stayed available to me via text until I got that fixed successfully. Growing up in a family that owned a small business, I can easily recognize good service, and that is exactly what I got from Ahoy.

They originally told us the liner would be installed months earlier, but it ended up being delayed by four months with barely any communication. We had to keep chasing them for updates, and even then, responses were vague or nonexistent. On top of that, they never followed through on installing the pool light. The entire process felt disorganized and unprofessional. They left a mess in our back yard even though they asked us where to discard materials. This company is poorly managed and lacks basic customer service. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for reliable pool services I had to contact them for them to get back to me on the whole 4 month delay. If you go through their reviews multiple places you'll find more like mine. Save your time
