He answered when I called, he is very easy to deal, he gave me a ballpark price for a full detail inside and out, she has a 96 T-Bird in mint condition but it had been a couple of years since it had a good detailing. Michael at Pristine Mobile Detail was awesome! I found him quickly on Google and called him up around noon on a Saturday. I needed a full exterior detail (wash, clay bar, wax, the works) and was hoping for one that same day. He made time and met me within an hour of my call. I dropped my car off, and an hour and a half later my 2010 silver Maxima looked like it just rolled off the lot. When Michael was done, the metallic flakes in the silver paint sparkled liked crazy! Truly an amazing job and at a very fair price considering the quality of the work. Don't waste your time with a cheap wax job from the local carwash. I normally use Black Forest but they were unavailable. I went to yelp for some other referrals. I got a quick response by phone on a Sunday which I really appreciated. I was told it would be $90 and hour. My car is 18 months old and I usually have a major detail every 6 months. The outside of my car is a little dirty, but nothing extraordinary. In between the major detail, I usually have the car washed every couple of weeks. I am normally meticulous about my car, but recently spilled some coffee on the front carpet - not a full cup but drips down the side of the console. I also had some spots on the inside fabric of the ceiling. Other than that it just needed vacuuming and I wanted the leader seats cleaned and conditioned. The owner came out to do the work on Monday. He had initially said it should be 2-3 hours. When he came out he texted me and said he can't get coffee stains or the stains on the ceiling fabric. The carpet is stain protected - it is a mercedes. I also have custom rubber mats to protect the carpet. The rest of the interior is clean as no one rides in the back, and I keep it covered with a towel to protect it from the sun during the day. He texted me and said it would be at least 4 hours. I questioned this a bit because it wasn't very dirty. However he insisted It was really dirty and he wasn't interested in the job. I was really taken aback by his attitude and comment. I am giving him tone star out of courtesy for coming to my house and for calling back so quickly. However, I couldn't be more put off by the attitude and frankly rudeness. An 18 month old car that is regularly maintained would take 4 hours AND his refusal to discuss or consider that it wouldn't take that long. I caution anyone who gets there care detailed to beware. There are many unethical people out there who do this kind of work. One other comment - when i mentioned that I use Joe at Black Forest, he said he taught him everything he knows. Very arrogant person. Update on 9/17/2016 I appreciate your response. I hope something has been learned from this experience. I had Smith Brothers detail my car today. Anthony arrived around 9:40 and finished a little past 11:30. He did an outstanding job. Full interior and exterior detail. When he finished the car, he said...and i quote..."it will be $199, as the range is 199-250 depending on how dirty it is. Since yours wasn't very dirty, it will be $199". I have no idea how you arrived at such an inaccurate assessment of my car - that it would take 4 hours at $90 an hour to detail. As i have said, I've had it detailed many, many times, and never paid anywhere close to your quote. My car looks amazing, and not one detail was missed. Anthony also said he enjoyed it because it is such a beautiful car. Perhaps you have customers who are accustomed to overpaying. I considered going forward, but I am so relieved I didn't. At the very least, please treat potential clients with a little bit of courtesy and respect. Best of luck to you. read more

I'm so impressed with Michael! I called him and he was at my house in an hour. He spent at least two hours making the outside of my MDX sparkle (even my kid was saying, "Mom, it's SO PRETTY!") I am meticulous about my X5M's interior - ocd?-so what happened was traumatic for me. Recently, we had a friend become car sick inside the vehicle. We were on a trip when this initially happened so I had the car cleaned immediately while out of town. But I still could smell the faint remnants during the rest of the trip, and a few days later when we got home. It was driving me crazy and I was seriously considering selling a car I loved because I couldn't take it anymore. I spoke to Michael and on a days notice - and on the morning before he was hopping on a plane for vacation- he came and detailed the car. He understood the issue, didn't make fun of my neuroticism about the smell, and spent the time on the problem area (in addition to detailing the rest of the car). The results were fantastic. Michael has been detailing my Porsche' for several years. He has come to my office and to my home and is both prompt and meticulous. My most recent experience was yesterday. My dark colored Cayenne had been bird-bombed during the week. Michael added me to the end of his day and worked for hours to restore my paint to it's original pristine condition. I have a VW Golf that I am selling which is a very small vehicle. When I spoke to Michael on the phone he told me we were looking at $150-200 to make the car look ready to sell and requested I stop taking quotes from different detailers. He sounded trustworthy and so I stopped taking offers and made an appointment for the next morning so the car would be ready when I had to show it to the buyers a few hours after the appointment with him. When Michael arrived he was singing a completely different tune saying that for $200 he would make the car look "descent" and that for $400 he would make it look ready to sell like he quoted me the night before. He completely tried to rip me off and manipulate me because I was on a tight schedule. I do not recommend anybody relying on this guy for work. He will upsell you and rip you off the second he gets the chance. He may have cost me the sale of my car as well as the loss of time having to hit the ground running finding somebody actually reliable. I would give him 0/5 stars if I could. read more

I wish there were more stars! We had a chemical spray on our brand new Land Rover. Michael came out at 7:30 am on the Memorial Day holiday to give us a damage review. After 1/2 hour of inspection, he advised that we have a bigger issue than what we thought. He referred us to ratchet up our damage problem to a full body and paint shop. He could have told us he could do it, charged us 600$ done it and been gone, but that isn't how he works. He had our long term interests in mind over his one time job on our vehicle. Rarely do I see this kind of honesty and integrity in anything especially in auto detail. I will use Pristine detail moving forward with our car needs. Even though we are not happy now that we have to move on to getting this car into a body shop and all the hassle around that, MIchael really put things into perspective for us suggested how we approach the body shops to resolve our damage issue.
