For the last 6 months my son has attended speech and occupational therapy here and it's been helpful. Staff is patient and supportive of his toddler setbacks but does celebrate his progr. They are understanding when I need to cancel and reschedule. We have Kaiser and our billing is done through a 3rd party so far I've had no complaints. My one recommendation would be that they add text as a way to cancel/reschedule appointments. As a working mom who travels frequently a text or email option is much easier to communicate than taking calls during my work day.

He walked me through everything. It's definitely that good hurt feeling like you're floating on clouds. I felt such relief and comfort once the session was over. This was also my first time trying cupping, and I actually loved it. Because of how great the experience was, I ended up getting a year membership, and I'm already considering adding a second massage a month. The office is clean, there's privacy and in a nice neighborhood. Thank you so much--this experience truly made a difference. I can finally smile again!

I rarely leave reviews. When I do, it's because something went egregiously wrong…read more Ian and his team might be great at massage therapy. Unfortunately, they are unprofessional, poorly organized, and they apparently have zero respect for your time. I originally booked an appointment through Ian's Calendly system. That appointment was later rescheduled at the last minute (less than 24 hours before the appointment) due to Ian's "Memorial Day weekend plans", despite the appointment being scheduled for the day *after* Memorial Day and appearing as available on his Calendly page. I accommodated the change and adjusted my schedule. The replacement appointment then failed as well. At 8:46 AM on the day of the re-scheduled appointment (scheduled for 12pm), Ian texted me that he was "currently at the airport" and that his flight "ended up being delayed just now." While flight delays happen, this meant my re-appointment had been scheduled on a day that depended on same-day air travel, seemingly just hours apart. What followed was the most frustrating part. Rather than proactively managing the situation, providing a clear update, or giving me a phone call, I was left in limbo until the last minute, trying to determine whether the appointment was actually going to happen. I ultimately had to reach out myself while reorganizing my workday once again around an appointment that never occurred. The result: two failed appointments, two last-minute schedule changes, and a bunch of wasted time. After expressing my frustration and explaining that I had rearranged my day around this appointment, I expected at least a phone call, a sincere apology, or some acknowledgment that the situation had been handled poorly. Instead, Ian's response to the situation was... absolutely nothing. No phone call. No meaningful apology. No ownership. No attempt to make things right. Communication was limited to brief text messages, primarily through an "assistant" named Caroline. To this point, I still do not know whether Caroline is an employee, a virtual assistant, or a scheduling service, because nobody from his business ever personally contacted me to discuss what happened. Given that Ian's team maintains a strict 24-hour cancellation / rescheduling policy, I figured they would understand the value of time. Unfortunately, it appears that they value their own time, but not yours or mine. Mistakes happen. Travel plans change. Flights get delayed. But customer time shouldn't be collateral damage to sloppy planning on the part of a service provider. The true measure of a business is how it responds when things go wrong. In my case, Ian's business failed to honor two scheduled appointments, failed to communicate effectively, and failed to take responsibility afterward. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend these guys.

This facility maybe small but clean and watching the other trainers, they seem to be too. I've been to "mills" where they just do the minimal and give me written instructions on what to do. The exercises here actually makes more sense with my knee injury and muscle wasting. She is helping to gain both function back.

Joshua was great and very professional throughout my treatment. Jocelyn is also very welcoming and always made the environment feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Today was my last session and it truly stood out. Veronica Matta from Western University, who is currently doing her clinical rotations, worked with me one on one and by far it was the best session I had. Her hands on approach was exactly what I needed. The massage she did on the muscle that was causing my numbness made a huge difference and was very much needed. She was fully present, focused only on me, and genuinely committed to my care. It made me feel really good ending my therapy on such a positive note. The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is due to the use of the TENS unit patches. I am not a germ phobic, but seeing the patches used on someone's foot and then placed on another patient made me feel uncomfortable. It has since been brought to my attention that when receiving physical therapy, each patient should have their own TENS unit patches to help avoid any contagious infections. Overall, I appreciate the care I received and would still recommend Movement Therapy, especially for the quality of the therapists and the personalized attention.

Sadly, I got no help from Henry and was left highly disappointed and upset with my experience. The first time I saw Henry, he attempted to misdiagnose me with fibromyalgia when I clarified I had already been to see licensed medical professionals and was in the process of being tested, and no one had diagnosed me with it. It made me uncomfortable that he disregarded this information and jumped to this conclusion so quickly and arrogantly. He minimized my pain by making one of the most unprofessional comments I have ever heard, by insinuating that I could not actually be in a lot pain because I had never done sports. According to him, only people who have done sports in their life and gotten injured truly know pain. Why should I have to prove to you Henry that I feel pain? What about people with various other illnesses? Are they not allowed to feel pain because they haven't done sports? I came to you to help manage my pain, not to be medically gaslit. Henry continued to make various unprofessional comments during this appointment, not only asking me if I planned to have children, but more specifically HOW I planned to have children. Excuse me? Do you think it is appropriate to ask women about their fertility issues while they are trying to get a massage from you Henry? Because of his inappropriate comments, I stayed mostly quiet throughout this appointment because of how highly uncomfortable I was made to feel. I gave this man the benefit of the doubt by going to him a second time because I was DESPERATE for a good massage therapist. I regretted that decision very quickly. During my second appt Henry refused to continue to provide his services to me because I was honest on how his method of PEMF had caused me pain. Also, not once did I receive a proper massage, because my time was wasted with random breathing exercises or the PEMF. His reasonings for not wanting to help me were that he did not think his methods would help my nerve pain, but this was clearly bs. Again I paid for a MASSAGE, not what you were trying to sell me. If this is the type of treatment you are forcing onto your clients, that should be made clear on your website so nobody wastes their time like I did. If you choose you don't like one of his treatment methods, he will not only REFUSE to accommodate you, he will also "fire" you as a client. Also, by the way Henry, have you ever heard of INFORMED CONSENT ? I had specifically communicated to you at the beginning of my second session that I wanted to know what to expect during this appointment, but was blatantly ignored. I was not given any information about this PEMF technique prior to him using it on me. He only explained what this PEMF was AFTER he had begun using it on me. His disregard for my consent not only made me very uncomfortable, but resulted in my back pain worsening. I could go on and on about the complete lack of respect Henry had with me, including a complete lack of bedside manners and unprofessionalism. I was never once rude to Henry or unprofessional with him to merit this type of treatment. I sincerely hope Henry that you become more self aware to the things you say to your clients who are in a vulnerable state and are coming to see you for help, NOT to be gaslit, mistreated, and disrespected, like you were with me.

My kids play soccer, baseball, basketball, and football, and with any injury, SSR is the first (and only) place I take them. I know without a doubt that they will properly identify the issue, treat it correctly, and get my kids back to playing safely and confidently. The owners, Ryan and Roger, are completely hands-on and truly the best in the business. You can tell they care deeply about every athlete that walks through the door. On top of that, every single staff member is knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. The environment is another huge win. There's always a great vibe--choice music playing or live sports on the TV, sometimes even featuring their own clients competing, which is incredibly motivating and fun. It feels energetic, positive, and never like a boring or intimidating physical therapy clinic. What really sets SSR apart is how they treat people. Everyone treats you like family. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm "what's up." The **front desk crew--Tina and Wit are awesome--**and everyone in the back makes you feel welcome and cared for every single visit. I'm also extremely grateful they opened a La Verne location, as it's so much closer for us than the Corona spot. The convenience alone is huge, but the quality remains top-tier. SSR is the perfect combination of elite knowledge, hands-on care, and a fun environment that athletes actually enjoy. Who knew physical therapy could be so fun? With their guidance, I not only got my nutrition under control, but I also lost over 25 pounds in just 7 months. Even more importantly, I reduced my daily insulin intake by 50% and lowered my A1C levels--results that both my doctor and I are thrilled about.
