One of my kids has autism and apraxia and the owner Amanda has provided endless support to help him continue to make progress. She was able to identify that one of my kids has low muscle tone, I didn't even realize that he couldn't even move his tongue or his mouth. Oral motor exercises has helped help gain control and movement of his mouth. That's just 1 area of the many ways they have helped my son. Advantes Speech Clinic has been a blessing to our family. We have had other speech therapist at other clinics and I can truly say the implementation of appropriate technique was not there. I'm Russian and Arabic speaker and we pronounce that sound in a slightly different way. She definitely understood what do I mean because she asked me is it the same way as Spanish "R"? I said yes, it's similar. Then she added I recommend you to switch to another therapist because I'm an English speaker. (And Spanish too, by the way) Later on I started to receive my EOB and it was showing that I overpay each session. I spoke to them about it and instead of refund they told me my sons score too high to be covered by insurance. They stopped submitting claims and try to cancel previous ones. If you look for a speech therapy please avoid that place!

We saw 3 or 4 speech therapist before her and suddenly he's 95% on board with participating while practicing new skill and he was 0% participating with the other ones. So grateful we got paired with her, she pushes him the perfect amount for him and that changes by the moment constantly reading him and seeing what he's up to in each moment while not letting him avoid practice all together. I also really appreciate the guidance on things we can practice and model at home to boost our progress.

He sees both Ms. Allison and Ms. Kimberly, both of which are amazing and so patient with him. He always has so much fun in each session. Ms. Allison has been so helpful in keeping us up to date with insurance recerts, letting us know of support programs that can be useful as he progresses, etc. Prior to Kidspeak, he was at another facility and had a very limited amount of words, but since joining Kidspeak we have seen such improvement and growth in his speech that we are truly grateful for all he has learned here. You can truly feel they genuinely care about having my son be successful. I love their approach of wanting to have parents involved during the therapy session. I myself have been able to learn techniques to take back so we can continue promoting it at home. Regarding their scheduling, they are very understanding and flexible. I work nights and my work days vary each week. As long as I notify them ahead of time they have no issues rescheduling and moving things around to accommodate when possible.
