The classes are incredible: super well structured, well demonstrated, and clearly instructed. I always feel supported, challenged, and motivated every time I go. The gym hours are also really flexible, which makes such a huge difference as a mom trying to fit training into a busy schedule. What I love most is that Raw Performance has helped me push past goals I honestly didn't think I could reach yet postpartum. I feel stronger, more confident, and truly cared for in my fitness journey. Also, if you're looking into physical therapy, Sophie is amazing. She has been helping my 6-month-old baby with crawling support and development, and I'm already so encouraged by the process. I can't wait to see even more progress. Highly recommend Raw Performance for both training and physical therapy ,such a great environment with people who really know what they're doing.

When I went to Covina Hills Sports Medicine, I expected the same experience I have had at other therapy centers. Unfortunately, in most places, the therapist evaluates you, performs some manipulation during the first visit (and maybe the second), and then leaves you in the hands of assistants or students for the remainder of the treatment. That was not the case here. From the very first day, Dr. Wigboldy conducted an extremely thorough evaluation. She took the time to understand my condition in detail, performed the necessary treatment, and clearly explained both the cause of my problem and the plan to resolve it. At the time, my condition was quite severe--my shoulder pain was intense enough to wake me up several times during the night. After nearly two months of treatment, I am very pleased to say that the pain is completely gone. The entire staff is highly professional, knowledgeable, and kind. They make you feel welcome and confident that you are in capable hands. Kim and Keyla, in particular, stand out for their dedication and the quality of care they provide. I can only assume they have been trained by Dr. Wigboldy, as they reflect the same level of kindness and professionalism. This is a place where you receive consistent, hands-on care from experienced professionals who truly care about your recovery. I highly recommend Covina Hills Sports Medicine to anyone seeking effective and attentive physical therapy.

The level of professionalism, compassion, and patient care that I appreciated was completely lacking. The staff seemed indifferent, and I did not feel valued as a patient. In addition, the front office was rude and unprofessional, which made the experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, I am not the only one who feels this way. Several friends of mine who were also long-time patients stopped going to Covina Sports Medicine for the same reason. It is very disappointing to see such a decline in the quality of service at a facility I once trusted and recommend to others.

My kids play soccer, baseball, basketball, and football, and with any injury, SSR is the first (and only) place I take them. I know without a doubt that they will properly identify the issue, treat it correctly, and get my kids back to playing safely and confidently. The owners, Ryan and Roger, are completely hands-on and truly the best in the business. You can tell they care deeply about every athlete that walks through the door. On top of that, every single staff member is knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. The environment is another huge win. There's always a great vibe--choice music playing or live sports on the TV, sometimes even featuring their own clients competing, which is incredibly motivating and fun. It feels energetic, positive, and never like a boring or intimidating physical therapy clinic. What really sets SSR apart is how they treat people. Everyone treats you like family. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm "what's up." The **front desk crew--Tina and Wit are awesome--**and everyone in the back makes you feel welcome and cared for every single visit. I'm also extremely grateful they opened a La Verne location, as it's so much closer for us than the Corona spot. The convenience alone is huge, but the quality remains top-tier. SSR is the perfect combination of elite knowledge, hands-on care, and a fun environment that athletes actually enjoy. Who knew physical therapy could be so fun? Highly recommend to any parent or athlete looking for the best.

Sadly, I got no help from Henry and was left highly disappointed and upset with my experience. The first time I saw Henry, he attempted to misdiagnose me with fibromyalgia when I clarified I had already been to see licensed medical professionals and was in the process of being tested, and no one had diagnosed me with it. It made me uncomfortable that he disregarded this information and jumped to this conclusion so quickly and arrogantly. He minimized my pain by making one of the most unprofessional comments I have ever heard, by insinuating that I could not actually be in a lot pain because I had never done sports. According to him, only people who have done sports in their life and gotten injured truly know pain. Why should I have to prove to you Henry that I feel pain? What about people with various other illnesses? Are they not allowed to feel pain because they haven't done sports? I came to you to help manage my pain, not to be medically gaslit. Henry continued to make various unprofessional comments during this appointment, not only asking me if I planned to have children, but more specifically HOW I planned to have children. Excuse me? Do you think it is appropriate to ask women about their fertility issues while they are trying to get a massage from you Henry? Because of his inappropriate comments, I stayed mostly quiet throughout this appointment because of how highly uncomfortable I was made to feel. I gave this man the benefit of the doubt by going to him a second time because I was DESPERATE for a good massage therapist. I regretted that decision very quickly. During my second appt Henry refused to continue to provide his services to me because I was honest on how his method of PEMF had caused me pain. Also, not once did I receive a proper massage, because my time was wasted with random breathing exercises or the PEMF. His reasonings for not wanting to help me were that he did not think his methods would help my nerve pain, but this was clearly bs. Again I paid for a MASSAGE, not what you were trying to sell me. If this is the type of treatment you are forcing onto your clients, that should be made clear on your website so nobody wastes their time like I did. If you choose you don't like one of his treatment methods, he will not only REFUSE to accommodate you, he will also "fire" you as a client. Also, by the way Henry, have you ever heard of INFORMED CONSENT ? I had specifically communicated to you at the beginning of my second session that I wanted to know what to expect during this appointment, but was blatantly ignored. I was not given any information about this PEMF technique prior to him using it on me. He only explained what this PEMF was AFTER he had begun using it on me. His disregard for my consent not only made me very uncomfortable, but resulted in my back pain worsening. I could go on and on about the complete lack of respect Henry had with me, including a complete lack of bedside manners and unprofessionalism. I was never once rude to Henry or unprofessional with him to merit this type of treatment. I sincerely hope Henry that you become more self aware to the things you say to your clients who are in a vulnerable state and are coming to see you for help, NOT to be gaslit, mistreated, and disrespected, like you were with me.

The receptionist at the front desk was pleasant enough, but what happened in the doctors office was unbelievably bad. I never saw a physician instead I saw a unsupervised physicians assistant there was not a doctor in the facility. The medical assistant for the PA came in and began an initial intake she was nice. She had not taken my blood pressure yet. She left the room to get a different blood pressure cuff. She reentered the room with the PA. The mail PA asked me why I was there. I explained to him that I had had a lung infection going on two weeks and that it was not getting any better and that I needed something to calm down the cough., I wanted to be tested for RSV and Covid and I probably needed to have an order for a chest x-ray over at Pomona Valley Hospital. What happened next was shocking the PA told me well. We need to send you to the emergency room right away your blood pressure is 110/170! You could have a stroke or a heart attack. I looked at the nursing assistant and said well Dr. that's impossible for two reasons first I am on blood pressure medication that has kept my blood pressure very stable for over 10 years and I doubt that my blood pressure is that high. Secondly your assistant hasn't even taken my blood pressure yet. Instead of the PA apologizing and taking my blood pressure the individual double down and said well we're not going to be able to treat you at this facility. You need to go to the emergency room. When I asked why considering that the PA had not done a physical exam yet he told me that they did not have the ability to treat me at their facility. I asked to speak to the physician in charge and I was told that they did not have a physician on staff at that urgent care. I said well can you reach One via telehealth And I was told no. I asked could you please give me a prescription for a cough suppression medication or an expectorant and I was told no I began to get a little irritated, and I said at the very least you could do a physical examination order the chest x-ray a and labs so that I don't have to spend five hours at the emergency room wasting an emergency room physicians time. The PA turned around, began walking out the door and said you're going to have to go to the emergency room. I received no care at this urgent care and yet they charged my insurance company for a urgent care visit. I have actually called my insurance company and informed them of the experience and encourage them not to pay the bill. This is actually a first for me, but in the last two years I have become less and less impressed by the Pomona Valley Hospital care system and their urgent cares. It feels to me like their physicians and their PAs need more training. The PAs need supervision and guidance from a more experienced, licensed medical professional based on this experience, I would never go back to La Verne Pvhc Urgent Care. I actually went to another urgent care that is not part of the pvhc system the next day and received high-end quality urgent care from a pa under the direct supervision of a doctor. What I would expect from a Urgent doctors appointment. It turned out that I had RSV , I was immediately given cough medicine and supportive care, advice and I was treated and made a full recovery. It is unfortunate that I had to go to two urgent care to get the actual care that I needed so I really hope that my insurance company does not pay them for this visit because they did nothing to deserve a financial reward. The only reason that I am giving them two stars is because the receptionist at the front desk was very nice.
