This company was brought into our home by our HOA for a three-day remediation project. We were not given a choice in the matter. The team was granted door code access while we were away for part of the work. Shortly after their visit, we discovered that a significant amount of cash, previously stored securely in our bedroom-- , was missing. No one else had access to the unit during that time, and after thoroughly searching every inch of our home, we're confident the cash didn't go missing on our end. While we can't provide definitive proof, the circumstances are extremely suspicious and deeply unsettling. The remediation work itself seemed fine, but the loss of trust has left a lasting impact. Esquivel and his son Esqui are terrific! In a three room section of the house we had been dealing with mold on furniture and in closets. We moved out stuff we wanted to salvage before these guys started work. They began by sealing up that portion of the house, covering vents, and installing big specialized fans with ducts going out windows. Then they removed and disposed of anything remaining in the three rooms/closets/bathroom including carpeting and window shades. They opened up sections of walls looking for evidence of mold or moisture. The lower portions of exterior walls in the corner room had mold and moisture which extended to a portion of the common wall with the adjoining room. They determined that a foundation problem caused water to come in. Their removing mold from these opened up walls was a very detailed job. When their work was done, I called in an environmental testing company which took air samples. Lab results look great and determined that no further mold remediation was needed. Except for a lot of noise when they were working and loud fans running the entire time, it was a pleasure having Esquivel and Esqui here. Always wearing specialized masks, they did everything themselves with no help from more junior people, I guess to ensure that everything was done right. Doing things right, we were left with a lot of holes in walls which we are fixing now that needed foundation work has been completed. As they suggested, we will be adding a number of vents, improving airflow, and having the bathroom fan come on automatically. I now know why a friend recommended Esquivel and his son so highly. read more
