The reviews are correct: they provide intense pressure during their massages, and there were a couple of points where I had to consciously breathe through it. My back felt looser the second I stood up, and the relief held for a week or two rather than days. A few practical things to know: tell them exactly how much pressure you want before they start, you'll hear other people's sessions through the curtains, and bring cash. If you've had massages before and left feeling like you needed something more serious, come here. I'll be back.

I liked that we were able to fill out the diagram to show where we preferred they concentrate the massage and where we wanted them to avoid. The masseuse confirmed when he walked in and then showed me the timer for 60 min before beginning. The ambiance was perfect and we both enjoyed our massages. They even had a bathroom with a shower and robes/slippers for us to use after we were finished. It's a step above your no frills massage parlor! You sign in at the lobby, then take an elevator up to the reception. My masseuse (sorry I forgot her name!) was wonderful, very patient in waiting for me to arrive, asking if I wanted any water or tea, explaining the process and asking if I liked soft, medium or firm pressure. The pressure was accurate to my selection and she really worked on some of those knots! Felt decently sore the next day as I expected. The spaces - reception and treatment room were both set up nicely, clean and comfortable. I will say the bathrooms (which may have been shared with the rest of the floor) were a bit tight and could've been in better shape. It was the coldest day of December and my long, heavy coat was a bit hard to manage inside the bathroom stall. Didn't deduct any stars here since I'm not sure this is something they can control directly in case of a shared facility. *When I originally called to book, I thought it was interesting that they directed me to book on the website giving the reason that they'd need to take my credit card number over the phone if booking via call, versus entering my credit number online. While I appreciate the flexibility and security of passing my cc number over a website this also meant signing up for another website which usually means I'll get marketing emails that I may or may not be interested in at some point or another (aka spam). But it's not priced like one. The lack of basic etiquette sealed it. I went to Remedy for the first time yesterday and saw Marta. What a miracle worker she is -- with magic hands! She focused majority of the hour on my injured back and I left feeling so much better.
