Walked in, walked out. I went in for a pedicure, they sat me down in a chair that clearly wasn't wiped down. The area where you place your belongings on the chair was sticky. Was STILL going to give it a shot, and place my items in my lap. Until I saw the woman cleaning off the tools which I'm sure were used on multiple other people, to use on me. VERY BAD JOB- STAY AWAY :( Ok, so I'm the type of person who usually gives a low-rated place a chance because sometimes Yelp reviewers are wrong. Even though this place didn't have less than 4 stars...I noticed when the reviews were bad, they were REALLY BAD. But oh well...I gave it a try. Today I went in and got a gel manicure with French tips. The price was nice ($20 for gel manicure and an extra $3 for French tip). The lady who did my nails was nice too. But that's the highlight of this place. The lady who did my French tip recommended that I try the "V" shape tips instead of what I wanted which was the classic round French tip. I said "sure" and regret it now. The lines are NOT straight and they're very messy looking. I moved from Gardena which is where my "usual" spot is , and i dislike trying new places because u dont know if theyre good until the whole job is done and theyre ready to charge you. I got my pedicure and full set done at this location. I was satisfied with my pedicure but can't say the same about my full set. Very sloppy job, I told the nail lady multiple times if she can fix the issue, but she completely ignored me. She simply walked away and proceeded to help another customer. I don't know what these other b's are talking about but this place sucks. Yea it's super cheap but that because they do a horrible job. I walked in and they were peeling cucumbers and the place smelled moldy but I had some time to kill while I was getting an oil change and the sign said $14.99 for a mani/pedi so WHAT THE HELL? right? Turns out the sign is wrong, it's $24 for a mani/pedi + $1 if you pay by card. I got gel coat (for $10+) and was promised they had a matching color for my toes but alas my hands and feet do not match. I just examined my toes to see the bad paint job (sides of my nail are unpainted) and my finger nails are also kinda jacked. $5 less than everywhere else but totally worthless. 2 biggest pet peeves at nail salons: No matching colors for the gels and false advertising on the pricing!! This place did both. NEVER going back. Why give them 2 stars? The ladies were super nice. read more

The worst experience ever doing my nails Susan I believe did my nails she sits in the front left seat. Prior to doing my nails she waxed a man's head and came out to do my nails 5 mins after. She didn't wear gloves to do so and she put wax on my hands I had to ask her to wash her hands. After that I had to ask like 3x to fix my nails because she left them super lumpy I didn't even have her polish my nails or finish because she did a terrible job. Was in the area yesterday with a girlfriend and decided to try out this place since they offer very reasonable prices and at under $20 for a Mani-Pedi we couldn't say no... First thing I noticed is that it's a bit small and dated but they have all the necessary equipment. Two ladies greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel comfortable right away. We both wanted french tipped nails with gel so that cost a few dollars extra but was still way cheaper than other places within the vicinity. The technicians were very friendly and don't talk smack about you in Vietnamese like how they do at other places. We enjoyed conversing with and listening to the stories they told us, which we found pretty amusing. I was also glad to learn that there's a Vietnamese restaurant down the street that serves a large bowl of Pho for only $3.75, this was a great tip from the woman who worked on my nails, she was really sweet and made our experience much better than all of the other salons I've been to. The pedicure was spot on, nice job and we left feeling satisfied with smooth clean feet and hands. The gel nails came out looking pretty and well done, although I can be very meticulous about them and noticed one nail has a tiny dot (hardly noticable) which I consider an imperfection. Otherwise for the price of $42 for mani-pedi + gel and french tips (paid $40 for just a Manicure in Irvine) I can't argue and think it's well worth it!! The girls who worked on my hands and feet were super friendly and attentive! I have had too many bad experiences in the past and really try to find a place where I feel comfortable and taken care of. Anne is literally the best hands down. (Slow clap)....for an unbelievably horrendous polish job they did on my toes. Ridiculously hideous it deserves a standing ovation. INCREDIBLE. I think I could do a better job if my left foot painted my right foot and vice versa. I called prior to coming and asked if there was a wait for 2 people, the owner said no. Came in and to my surprise they had 2 "appointments" ahead of me. I should have left but they used their trickery on me and took in my sister in law first, while showing me something completely new. They removed my gel polish with acetone soaked cotton balls and foil. This kept me around for a while since I've never removed gel this way. Yes I am easily amused. My sister in law (sweetest lady) had her pedicure along with her gel nails done in under 45 mins. No they didn't complete the job so quickly because they are damn good professionals....she did it fast so she would be on time for her 5'o. Sad to say she was late to that as well. "How did that work out for you Miss Boss Lady?" So after my sis was done and I was close to leaving, they pulled me in. My gel Polish ended not looking too bad. For us to get to this happy middle I had to pay very close attention. I had to point out that I have thin skin (I'm talking if she brushed the file against it in the slightest way I'll bleed right away)...which she still nicked me anyways. I had to tell her to even out 2 fingers and by the 3rd time, I figured the point was moot since she couldn't figure it out the first 2 times so I just left it alone. I told her to file down the tumor sized bump her gel polish left on my index finger. Sometimes you just gotta choose your battles. "I'll take this uneven finger nail if you get rid of the tumor, nail lady!" She was so determined to get me out of her chair (mind you I am the last client no one else was there) she had forgotten whether or not she cleaned off my nails with alcohol. Fine I guess I'll give her the answer sheet....the answer is B...yes you cleaned them with alcohol, B. (Okay she is not a B but come on I'm here to get my nails done not here to keep a play by play!). Nail lady 1, me 0. She rushed me over to the pedicure chair and started to work on my toes. Everything up to the Polish was standard....ok maybe a tiny step under but I'll let her have that. I was almost home free and it was time for the polish. The most important part about getting your toes done is the polish. If the pedicure wasn't great you better bet your sweet ass that polish better be on point. You would think a nail tech who messed up on a chevron design or ombré or some extravagant design you found off of Pinterest she can throw in the old trusty "it's my first time!" NOPE. The color I picked is black, 1 color. No design, nothing. And dun dun DUN.....this is what I ended up with (see the picture I posted). Mind you I rushed out of there because it was past midnight and my ride was going to turn into a pumpkin. Kidding....I just needed to get out of there because if I was there any longer I would have needed a time card. Nail lady 2, me 0. (Since we are keeping a play by play....damnit she's got me trained) Although I would totally put this lady's name out for all of social media to see I understand that she may have some little ones to feed. Maybe I caught her on a bad day. But NO I will not be returning. I get the saying "you get what you pay for." All I am asking for is even nail polish. Gaahhh! read more

This is the worst salon I ever had. If you will come they offer you a lot, pedicure, manicure and even foot massage. And they even offer me a facial. they talk in a very sweet gesture, convince you. so I did my facial but it's so horrible and disgusting. I'm already on the bed laying down when I saw the equipment they are using its all unsanitized. They used face towel that they just soaked it in an aluminum basin and squeezed it by hands. I don't know what kind of scrubs Sylvia used on my face because it makes my face and neck so red after and the cream she put on my face make it itchy all over my face and neck.
