If you're looking for a quality cut, don't come here. I asked for a tapper fade and end up with a really flat medium fade. I was gonna get my top trimmed, but seeing how the sides ended up, I changed my mind. I would rate it a 1 star, but the price was really fair. (You get what you pay for) read more

Completely hit or miss, you might get a clean fade or you might get a sloppy awful haircut with them giving a 0 to the base of your hairline and trimming above it at random with zero actual fade or blending. I literally have to go to another barber to fix what they gave me. read more

Update: 08/25/2025, and Pro Barber is still my #1 go-to spot for a nice and clean fade!! Jimmy is the man and I will leave you feeling satisfied. It can get busy but that is expected and that just shows that they know what they are doing since so many folks come here. If you wanna skip the wait, schedule an appointment ahead of time! There is a small fee for appointments but that beats having to wait for your turn. read more

Called ahead to see if they had availability and they were able to take my husband right away. The person cutting my husbands hair seemed really great, meticulous and took his time. When the haircut was finished we noticed that the cut was more curved at the top of the sides and back than he would've liked. But honestly for $15 it was great. read more

Showed up at 0845 when they open at 9 and waited over an hour and decided to leave because people with "appointments" kept showing up. They have no way to confirm appointments and I over heard some one say just tell them you have an appointment because thats what most people there do. read more

Decent Barber Shop with reasonable price, however, quality can be a hit and miss depends on who cuts your hair. I recommend Ken, Jimmy, Gio and Alex. Highly recommended that you call and schedule an appointment with the desired barber although they do charge you additional $2 for that. read more

This is by far my favorite barbershop. I'm a woman with long hair that goes down to my waist but I have the bottom half of my head shaved. I'm used to barbershops trying to turn me away because they "don't cut women's hair" but this place has always been so kind and welcoming! I needed a straight razor shave one day to get my head tattooed and they were able to take me in as a walk in and provided excellent service. Since I've been coming back every few weeks, they always remember me and what I want! They are so wonderful. Very quick, efficient, kind, and always at a great price. Highly recommend! read more

Old fashion barbershop-no quick cuts- they listen and understand . They will layer men's haircuts by manually cutting each layer, not like other "chop"shops, which just use electric scissors and go for speed. These people take time and do it the old way - well worth the time spent with them and price is very reasonable also. The owner is very understanding and took me in although his schedule was full and I did not make a reservation - luckily, the next person had called and said they were going to be late. They also make you feel like you belong there and treat you like welcome family This is an amazing barbershop with quite a following. Was planning on going to supercut for my son but they were closed on a Sunday. Searched nearby with good ratings for kids haircuts and found Pro barber. When we arrived all the chairs were full and there were lots of people waiting. Went in anyway and they were very efficient, professional, and most of all friendly with the children good with the adults and very affordably priced. $15 for my sons haircut with $5 tip. $20 out the door. Very nice team of barbers and hairstylist. Looks like they cater mostly to men. I will definitely come back!! read more

Unfortunately when charged $45.00 in the store and when I see the charge go through they added $50.00 more even though I gave a tip in cash. Other issues as well! Haircut and terrible shave for my son. Never again you will get ripped off! Don't even deserve one star ! Shame on you! read more

Do NOT go here. Friendly people, put in a lot of time to your haircut, and the result will look okay. They do not listen to what is asked. My hair was 3 inches long, I asked for 1/4 inch (I showed how much I wanted off) off the top of and now is my hair is 1/2 inch long on the top. They used a rough straight razor on my entire neck with no cream and is entirely red/ irritated an hour later. The person next to me asked for 1 fade and they gave him a skin fade and he walked out frustrated. read more

I randomly found this place while I was looking for a place to get a haircut. It was almost closing time but I was not sent away like I was the day before at a large haircut chain. I could tell that the hairdressers are really putting a lot of attention in their work. The haircut I got is much better than what I get at the large haircut chain previously mentioned. I don't live in San Diego but I will definitely go back this place if I am around next time I need a haircut. read more

So I tried cutting my son's hair and messed it up so badly. I came here and they were so good with my son. He's four and can flinch and shrug when he typically gets his haircut..They were so good, they have such a soft touch with their clippers. He was smiling, making funny faces. Two barbers actually we're teaming up to fix my horrible haircut. It's was the sweetest thing I've ever seen. I think I'm going to take him here until he's old enough to get his own haircuts. Haircut was great and was very detailed. They were very gentle and attentive and made sure you got what you wanted asking exactly what you wanted. They weren't aggressive at all and very careful with the clippers and the razor. All of them were very nice and welcoming. great customer service and i would come back again. They do take card but there is a charge so cash is preferred. a regular haircut is 15 which is what i got. They also offer one drink per customer which was very nice considering it was extremely hot outside. I think they also give great haircut for kids as there were a lot in the store waiting for a cut. Ouch my head is still hurting from the edge up I got here. Depending on your barber your cut may not come out as imagined. That's why communication is key. I asked for a high fade and got a cookie cutter fade. But that's okay, but I wanted to get out the chair ASAP due to the bickering amongst co-workers not to mention the hair dryer on max heat close as heck to my face and skin. Worst of all, my barber cut me pretty badly! My tolerance for pin is high so I didn't think it would be of concern but once I got into my car I could see blood at five different point on my hairline where I was supposed to be getting and edge up! -didn't get the cut I wanted -bad atmosphere on that day -cut my skin (thank god it wasn't a straight edge razor) Last time I'll be going there -------- The above review was written four days ago. Now, four days later the cuts on my skin/forehead are still evident and scabbing has formed. What I find funny is that the my original photos were deleted somehow! I need to make sure customers know what they are walking into, the two photos uploaded now are from four days later. The owner did offer me a free cut which was kind but I'm only visiting. Today I leave San Diego. Btw my hair was cut by the lady from Persia. read more

One of the best fades I've ever had. I don't know the barber's name, but I saw the fade he gave the guy before me and I said to give me the same and he did. Perfectly shaped to my head and he paid attention to giving me sharp lines. The place is clean and there is adequate seating. And the price was just $21, so it's one of the best bargains out there! read more

I go here whenever I am in town and the staff has provided solid results. Recently they remodelled a bit giving the place a warmer feel and they are now offering $1 beers during your haircut, should you choose to partake. Two rules for a haircut: 1. Do not let the older man cut your hair, just want for someone else 2. Be very clear in what you want. It's funny now, recently, I asked the women to "shape" my beard and she heard SHAVE. It will grow back and my fiancee like the look, just a lesson. :) read more

Outstanding fade!! Alright so this place is kinda hidden in one of those small strip mall places off of midway ave. I believe 3 asian men work here and the one gentleman that cut my hair goes by the name of "Mike". Mike, whom i can barely understand through the thick asian accent seems to be a very straight forward man. He greeted me when i walked in, sat me down, and asked me how i like my hair cut. Within seconds Mike was on the job. Carefully cutting and shaving At this establishment, the barbers take the time ever once in a while throughout the haircut to wipe all the cut hairs off of your neck, ears and face. This is definitely something that is lagging in probably 99% of the hair places out there. Very clean place. If there is one barber not cutting hair, he is usually sweeping and organizing things. After receiving the best Medium razor fade ever, Mike wipes the back, and sides of my head with some alcohol and cashes me out. $9.00!!! Cant beat that at all. Keep the change Mike, ill be back next week! read more

The young receptionist was dressed in what looked like boy-short underwear rather than appropriate work clothing, with much of her backside exposed. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional for someone working at the reception desk of a business. Bad haircut, lost earring, poor judgment, and an extremely unprofessional atmosphere. I will not return to this location.

Update: 8/13/19, still my top go to barber shop! Been a loyal customer since 2012!! Prices did went up for a regular cut but that's normal for a business. No complaints! read more

You will get the cut you are looking for. I suggest booking online because he charges about 50% more for walk-ins, but booking online was easy and you will know the time and price of your cut. I got there at 3:45 for a 4pm appointment and he was finishing up with someone. I was done around 4:30 and the next appointment was walking up. Conversation was great, Kerry is knowledgeable about a lot of topics, somehow the military came up, probably cause we were/are Marines. Don't let the looks of the building throw you off. The parking lot is in the back but there are plenty of spaces. I'm sure Kerry will become your go-to barber 5/5!!!
