I'm so happy with Laura and Pro Cleaners! I recently found some old dresses that I had set aside to be cleaned years ago and then forgot about them. Some of them were pretty heavily stained and others were delicate fabrics, and all had been stained for YEARS, so I knew it would be a tough job. I tempered my expectations because of that, but figured it was worth a try to bring them in. They did an unbelievable job, and at a very reasonable price to boot! Almost every trace of stains were removed, save for a couple of spots on my white clothing, but even those stains were substantially faded. Pro Cleaners did such a beautiful job cleaning my Rime Arodaky minidress that I had worn for my wedding rehearsal dinner. The crepe fabric is perfectly smooth and looks brand-new. The delicate mesh embroidered sleeves look pristine. (I'm just sad I didn't think of bringing my dress to them to be steamed/prepared *before* my event!) We have been regulars for over 10 years but when COVID hit, Laura the owner, started providing handmade adjustable masks. We decided to get our comforters, table cloths and sheets--yes sheets done. Once you have the laundered and ironed you will never want to change. Laura is honest and provides great customer service. I have even given polo shirts with stubborn stains and they are gone! Don't be fooled that Pro Cleaner's is located in Los Altos - the location implies that they're super expensive, but honestly their prices are on par with other (lesser quality) dry cleaners. I had two dresses that needed to be cleaned and altered, along with a few other things to be cleaned. Laura did an AMAZING job! Been going to this place for a number of years. Close to the kids school. For the longest time there was a very surly guy working there with nasty super long pinky fingernail. Never spoke or said hello. Now I see a girl working there. She's a little more social-able than the guy. Anyway we don't go there for chit chat. Far as I know they haven't lost or messed up anything. After one time going there the lady that works there has a photographic memory, she doesn't even have to look at the tags to get your stuff a week later. She often has your stuff waiting when you walk in because she saw you pull up. The prices are sooo GOOD! especially for being in los altos, this place is in a really weird spot for a cleaners, but even though we have moved 10 more miles away from when we lived only about 2 miles away we will make the extra drive. Hello Yelp: when I searched for my nextdoor dry cleaners, I found this new shop behind the old shop that is no longer there. It's an OK place. Price is reasonable, attendant seems friendly but sometimes looks unhappy. The laundry I picked up one day we're not as clean as I expected so I went back. Someone else there received my order. No greeting, no smile, no goodbye.... I went back to pick up the items a few days later. This time the regular person helped me. Still a cold atmosphere. I just like the proximity to where I grocery shop. I hope I can help bring more business to her but I do not know why they do not clean the spots that needed most cleaning unless I ask. read more

Not just one, but a few bad experiences with Pro Cleaners in Los Altos. On more than one occasion they handed me the wrong clothes and I had to go back after noticing when I got home. The last time I used them (and ever will) they gave me the wrong clothes, and were not able to locate the pants to a suit I had they clean. They gave me the run around for a few weeks before failing to find the pants. Gave me $100 for the pants of a suit set. Now I own a really expensive suit jacket with no matching pants..... $100 is a small percentage of the cost to replace. Avoid this establishment until the ownership changes. read more

One might think that all dry cleaners are the same and that might be correct except the people and the work they do makes a big difference. There was a bad stain on one of my pants and I worried that it wouldn't come out. I pointed it out and the nice lady smiled and said she would make sure they give it extra attention. When I picked up my order, the shirts were perfect (medium starch) and the stain was completely gone! Awesome! My new jumpsuit was a little baggy so I brought it to the Pro cleaner on a Saturday. The attendant was very kind and understood to have no problem repairing. She pinned the clothes to fit my body so that it could be altered. A couple days later (Tuesday), I received a text from who I believe was Laura, she said would be a little difficult to alter in that way. I got there after my work on the day, the same attendant was also there. I instantly noticed that my jumpsuit was very crumpled, but I didn't care at the moment and she proposed a different idea. While pinning the jumpsuit in a different way, we both noticed that there was a tear in my jumpsuit (on the lower left side), but I didn't complain much because I thought it was going to be altered anyway and they would fix it also she agreed with me. However, I received a text on Thursday from Laura saying that she was "not going to touch it". Of course, she had the right to refuse, but what about the tear? (It was a brand-new Eileen Fisher jumpsuit $228!!!) When I asked her about it, she denied to repair the hole because she "hung it on a hanger the whole time". Then how was my jumpsuit so crumpled if it was on a hanger the whole entire time? However, she said nothing and kept saying "I'm not going to touch it". I was dumbfounded. Other reviews I read said that Laura, the owner, was very kind and very professional, but I did not see those traits ANYWHERE. She treated me like a lady who deliberately took my perforated clothes. I thought I stepped on shit. I found another alter shop, and I got it beautifully repaired without any problem. I had to pay extra $14 for the hole but that's okay for me. I think that Laura's altering skills are not sufficient enough to run an altering shop; it should just be a dry-cleaning place. read more

My old cleaner who I was devoted to for 20+ years had retired, and I needed to find a new one local and happened to spot Laura's store while driving to Luckys nextdoor. Laura has been AMAZING with all my pieces! I have some jackets and shirts from Brunello Cucinelli, Loro Piana, etc, and so am always aware of where I get them cleaned. Laura did a great job getting UV fade out of my 21 year old cucinelli leather jacket, and conditioned it to be buttery smooth again! I will be giving my Loro piana cashmere pieces to her as well at the end of this winter. She is also very personable and friendly, and remembers me each time! Will be coming back for years! She is also very open and knowledgeable about materials, and you can ask her for advice on what service is best for your piece of clothing! Her prices were 2-3 dollars more compared to my old cleaner, but the quality is MUCH MUCH better. I was in the area and found Pro Cleaners, decided to stop in and hope that they were be able to dry clean my things super fast. There was a very nice and welcoming young lady at the counter who greeted me with the biggest smile. I told her my situation and she told me not to worry and that she'll take care of everything. Pro cleaners is in a dying little strip shopping center next to Albertsons off Foothill. However the lady in the there, she is nice, polite and does a great job for small sewing jobs. I found her the best so far after ruining a few clothes for hemming, and sundry sewing duties trying a bunch of folks up and down El Camino. The drycleaning is also good, and usually if you have a problem she is willing to re-do it. But if you have a sewing chore, she is so far the best and the most reasonbale I have seen in the area. read more
