I'm extraordinarily disappointed. When Vicky owned and operated, it was so much better. I took my daughter here to have her winter formal dress altered. I SPECIFICALLY asked three times that the leftover fabric be returned. The dress was floor length, and my daughter wanted it shortened significantly. She was going to have her friends in her fashion design group make something from it. It was about 2 yards of fabric! To my horror, the dress was cheaply hemmed (they used the wrong size needle on such delicate fabric), and the leftover fabric was nowhere to be seen. The clerk (with bloodshot eyes--he must be under the influence) merely shrugged and said that was the way it was. Now we need to find a new dress! This dress was well over several hundred dollars. What a waste! They never called back after they said they would ask the seamstress to check, too! read more

I brought in a skirt for dry cleaning because it had a yellowish stain that I couldn't get out even with some perfunctory scrubbing with water and soap. Then I realized that the label indicated "dry clean only". It cost $6.80 and took about 5 days (Saturday to Wednesday pickup), but the service was lacking. The lady at the counter said they tried cleaning it 3 times, but I got the distinct feeling she was just lying through her teeth. The skirt was basically just pressed/ironed, and it cost me $7. They didn't even give me a discount for not doing what they were supposed to, which is to remove the stain. I won't be back. read more

I brought a dress that was stained by another cleaners to be cleaned here. The staffs were actually really understanding of my situation and asked me how much the other cleaner offered to fix their mistakes, and offered me the same price which was about a $5 discount. Unfortunately, I was told that even after cleaning it twice, they couldn't get the stains out of my dress and recommended not doing it again as the fabric of my dress is very delicate. The stain was improved but unfortunately not removed. The stained area looked like it might have be rubbed and looked a little white l, but overall my dress still looked okay so I think I'll just have to leave it as is. It was interesting that they added a paper support for my dress so that it would prop it up. Not sure what that does but I appreciate the extra effort. read more

I've had some pretty bad luck with cleaners, but NEVER with this place. I'm pretty great at staining ANY nice item I wear, and then completely forgetting about the stain until my next function which requires such stained garment. To date, I haven't given them a stain they can't tackle, a garment they can't mend (I'm including the jeans that my thighs rip to shreds at work and the various shorts my son has ripped in half engaged in some odd venture), or a last minute item that needs pressing the same day. And, even more, Norma, is the nicest woman who works in the store. She always pays attention to the numerous details I have with each garment drop off. And she's really good about making sure an item has been properly treated/repaired when it's time to pick up as well. In terms of price, I do tend to pay a bit more here. But there are some things I'll pay for, just to ensure the extra care is taken with my wardrobe. It's not that I have ultra expensive garments, I have pieces I cherish that are irreplaceable, so they're priceless to me. read more

I am not satisfied. I brought in a pair of gray jeans that had some oil stains near the pelvic area and some discoloration at the leg. This is my first time dry cleaning anything, the reason I came in was because my pants specifically ask to be dry cleaned only and this place seemed to have good reviews. When I came in, she asked about both spills and I described that the pelvic area was a food spill and that the leg area I was unsure but if she could not get it out I did not mind because I understood it could be a discoloration. She said it would be done in 3 days and that she would call. I never received a call. I came in a few days later and picked up my pants. She brought out my pants and I inspected them while I was getting in my car, I noticed that ALL the stains were there. The only difference in my jeans was that they seemed ironed. I immediately brought them back in and she's like no this is a discoloration I can't do it and I explained that the pelvic area was the one with the food stain and asked if she could try to get it out. She tried again and after about 3 minutes she brought my pants back with one side of the spill removed. She said that she seemed to be able to get one of the sides so she'll try the other side and I could pick up my pants tomorrow. When I picked up my pants the second time, the stains from the pelvic region were removed. I feel like because I admitted there was a discoloration in one area, they did not even attempt to clean the pants at all. If I were to bring in pants I really cared for, I would probably hesitate to bring it back here again, sorry. read more

I came in with a pair of pants my husband had worn at a Bachelor party in Vegas. Apparently strippers wear butt make-up. Who knew? My husband said it was great to have the casino lights pick up the streaks of make-up and glitter on his black pants, making him feel like the real winner in the casino tonight. So I figured I would spare the poor guy the humiliation of taking them to the cleaners. So I take them in, they ask if there are any stains, and I say, "Yea, this is make-up." and gesture to the crotch full of beige streaks and purple glitter. "Okay..." she says, a little confused, but gets the rest of my info. "And what is the stain...?" I say, "It's some sort of stage make-up, or foundation. Base?" I'm not sure what other clarification I can give, and she hasn't said enough to make it clear to me that she speaks English well, so I was trying other words, but really, what words are there? Besides, I'm kind of embarrassed by the situation, even if the pants are clearly not mine. So I get my ticket, and she's still confused, looks at the pants and says "What is the stain again?" So that I never have to say it again, I go all out. "My husband went to a bachelor party. In Vegas. That is the body make-up from a stripper. There is glitter too, so maybe that has glue in it. But it's mostly make-up. From a stripper's butt. From a lap dance. OK? You can get that out?" "OH! I see, yes we can get this out!" She rushed off with the pants now. So I turn around, and some guy is standing there, clutching his laundry, looking like he really wants to laugh, but knowing better than to laugh at a pregnant woman or probably any woman who brings in pants covered with butt make up. Despite the mass of confusion, the pants came out clean, and totally free of glitter. **edit** Loosing 3 stars. During my last week of pregnancy, we took in a comforter and the cushions from my rocker. When we came back, they had done nothing with the cushions, and the comforter was still dirty. Since it was a whopping $34 to clean the comforter, we asked them to actually clean it. My husband asked this - I was staring at them shocked because they had just asked me if I was having twins. If there was NO stars, that is what I would give.THIS place. Brought in 3 expensive men's jackets. Picked up after dry cleaned and brought home. Two jackets had crushed/missing buttons. One jacket (an expensive Italian blue blazer) had a 1" round "stain". I brought the jackets in to show owner, Vicky, (a most unlikeable and UNprofessional individual) and I was greeted with various excuses ("your buttons were not heat-resistant" to "that stain was NOT done here"). After a half hour or arguing, she finally agreed to replace and pay for ruined buttons on ONE jacket, and replaced another broken button on a different jacket. When I threatened to take her to court on the Italian jacket that had the stain subsequent to cleaning, she reluctantly stated she'd "ask the reweaver" if anything could be done. A week.and a half later, with no phone call from her with any updates from the reweaver, I made another appearance. The jacket was DONE and I never even got the courtesy of a phone call that it had been done nor that it was ready to pick up. I would never step foot in this place EVER if you have something special you need dry cleaned. Despite her claims of being in business since 1988 and "never have anything like this happen" before, I seriously doubt I was the first, and.certainly know I will not be.the last. Alright so I've come here quite a few times now and I'm pretty damn impressed with their service. They're 20 min from my place and I still go outta my way to drop my stuff off here. 1. They're cheaper than most places that I know 2. They're straight forward friendly and get my stuff cleaned Case in point: I have a white jacket that is a pain in the ass to clean. First time, they got it completely clean. Second time, I accidently got stargaze lilly pollen on it which smeared and left HUGE orange marks (it's extremely hard to get out) and they got it out spotless. They charged me $9 for my white coat whereas other places charged me $20. Big fan of this place. read more

It's hard for me to have a strong opinion about this dry clean place. I live across the street, so it's not like I'd go anywhere else, right? Reasonable prices and lead times, friendlyish staff and I've never had any problems. I do always call ahead to make sure my things are ready by their estimated date. They tightened up the buttons on my coat for me (per request) without an extra charge when I sent it in for dry cleaning! That was nice. Heads up that they send out 100% leather goods to a specialist, so it takes an extra few weeks. read more

Great prices and great turnaround time, two things you really want in a dry cleaner. Everyone that works here is really nice and if there is an issue they will tell you upfront and let you know about any risks before actually taking your garment. I had a dress with faux pearls on the shoulder and she mentioned it might ruin the embellishments if I had it dry cleaned. These guys do magic with stains. Another dry cleaner caused an ugly brown stain on one of my blue shirts, and then denied responsibility (Rex Cleaners in San Jose). They did try to remove the stain (for a fee) and failed. About to write off a $200 shirt and reluctantly re-buy it, I brought it here in the hopes that they could resurrect it - and they did. The shirt looked as good as new! In my nighttime adventures, nice articles of clothing get inevitably get stuff on them. Beer and cosmos from the dudebros and girls in clubs. Or post-bar food afterwards. These guys have never failed to restore my clothes to pristine condition. The wait time is consistently two and a half days (drop something off Monday morning, get it back Wednesday evening), which is about average. One of the best dry cleaners in the area, especially for their ability to remove stains and make clothes look as good as new. read more

Did the job in a decent amount of time. Friendly employees. The reason it gets 3 stars is that I think $14.50 to hem a pair of jeans is a little much. I got 2 coats and a blouse dry-cleaned elsewhere for the same amount. Call me cheap but hemming isn't that difficult to do and I'm sure there are tons of places that can do it for a lower price. Horrible!!! This place will ruin your clothes or misplace it. My husband has to go to China business trip tomorrow so he dry cleaned all the shirts yesterday and one of the shirt was ruined. It's Hugo Boss slim fit nice shirts and my husband has three of them. Clothes instruction is dry clean with warm iron not Hot!!! The owner, Vicky refused to pay for it and told my husband She will fix it. However, when my husband went back to pick it up it was not fixed. This is not the first mistake, they lost my husband expensive pants. I also had my blanket zipper fixed by Vicky here, only problem is it was done so poorly I ended up buying the sewing machine and redo it myself. Then when I checked my blazer minutes later and realized there was still a large stain (I had to bring it up), she didn't change her tune and said they tried many times but couldn't get the stain out. I never she was a lying snake so I took it to another dry cleaner and they got the stain out with one try. I've been using this business for over 10 years, back when they were a franchise, and their service and quality has always been excellent. -- Being fair, guy-cleaning is typically not challenging. I've also had Vicky do one or two repairs over the years and they were done well too. I like the idea that they are now using more 'Green' processing now too. My only issue is that they've always been on the high side price-wise. But given the givens, I'd rather pay a bit more and know that I'm going to get the reliable service that I've consistently received. read more

This review is directly related to VICKY, the disgrafeful owner of this business. Not only does she ruin your clothes, but she proceeded to call me a "liar" along with many other rude and racist remarks. I've been going here over a year to dry clean and launder our clothes. Last week, I picked up my boyfriend's expensive custom business suit, that we purchased in July. Vicky and her team "Cleaned" it, and unfortunately "RUINED" it. The suit was 4" too small all over the body. I had to take it back to my tailor, and spent $108 fixing Vicky's mistakes. The lining of the suit had shrunk, and he was not even able to button the jacket - the pants came up well over his ankles. When I took it in the very next day, Vicky made all kinds of excuses telling me their machines can't shrink suits and the suit must be old. I did not ask for a refund, but simply wanted to find out why this had happened this time. Vicky began to scream and yell at me, calling me a "Liar that is trying to scam a business". Why would I lie about this, the suit was custom, and all of a sudden does not fit? I was calm and did not engage in the arguement - even as I was waiting to pick up the remainder of my clothing Vicky continued to curse at me and call me a liar. She seemed to think that the suit was old. It's too bad that I can't continue to support this small business. I am more upset that Vicky thinks it's ok to scream at her customers and call them rude and racist names; than I am at the repairs that had to be fixed.....nothing but denial! Stay away from this place...they will deny ruining your clothes and scream horrible names at you! read more

I brought my Coach bag in, on a whim, to see if they could clean it. I paid over $200 for it and it was pretty dirty only because I used it as a diaper bag and brought it absolutely everywhere with me. I wanted to restore it, so I could get more use out of it for having paid so much for it. Thankfully, Dryclean-Pro was able to clean it and it came out absolutely amazing! I couldn't believe it. I was so happy that I had to show it to my Mom, Aunt and G'ma (I know, I am a huge dork!) and knowing the condition it was in before, they were all very impressed! My G'ma is now going to bring her purse in:) I paid $18 for it and it was well worth it. I highly recommend this place and another plus, it's GREEN! Found this place through yelp when I was looking for dry cleaning places and read about how they're pros at removing stains so I kept them in mind for future reference. I ate lunch one day and ordered a sizzling plate. The oil lightly splattered on my blue shirt so it had many small oil dots and I thought the shirt was ruined. I've had some shirts with permanent oil stains even after applying Shout stain remover and washing it with a normal cycle, so I didn't know it was possible for those stains to be removed. I dropped off that shirt the next morning and pointed out the stains. It costed a little extra for stain removal but it didn't matter because that's why I was going here. When I picked it up a few days later, those stains were completely gone and the shirt was pressed nicely! After that, I've brought back a pair of dress pants with a food spot and they've gotten rid of that too. Unfortunately, they weren't able to get rid of a dark stain on one of my black pants because it was set in for so long after many washes but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. I wouldn't come here for my usual dry cleaning as I've found other reliable places closer to my work that are slightly cheaper, but it's definitely a place I'll come back to when I need extra care on my clothes. read more

We had a wedding to attend, and didn't realize that my husband's suit hadn't yet been cleaned. We took it by Dryclean Pro early in the week - and then got busy the day we were supposed to pick it up. A change of plans also meant we wouldn't be around the next day - just before flying out. We were past their closing time, but we called them, and someone there stayed late to help us pick it up. This was VERY appreciated, and helped us be able to get the suit, and pack for our trip without any more stress. Great prices and great service - a great combination. I would not recommend Dry Clean Pro to clean wedding dresses. They are not competent, and were downright rude in their customer service. Here is what happened to me: When I dropped daughter' wedding dress to be cleaned at Dry Clean Pro, Jonathan was friendly and courteous at first. When I went to pick it up, I asked to look at the dress to make sure it had been properly cleaned and noticed there were still several areas around the bottom of the dress. Jonathan cheerfully agreed to try to get the lingering stains out. When I went back the second time, the stains were still there and an older woman (maybe the the owner?) was at the counter and she said, "most people don't care if wedding dresses are cleaned", but begrudgingly agreed to try to get the stains out again. When I came back the third time, they had a difficult time finding the dress, which really worried me. Finally, Jonathan found it tossed into a corner and the stains were still there. He told me the fabric was washable and I should try to clean it myself. He became even more unresponsive when the same older woman came in with her still-surly disposition. I gave up on having them clean the dress and took the dress out of that place as fast as my legs could carry me. I cleaned the lingering stains myself (very easily). read more

I went to this business on a Monday to clean five shirts. Drop off was friendly. I got a receipt for $14 for fives shirts. The same night, I got a call from a young woman from Dryclean-Pro. She says they only find 4 shirts and started to question me if I actually dropped off 5. I assured her I did and reminded her their clerk counted my pieces and I have a receipt. Then she says their clerk charged me too little and she is going to update the invoice to $20+. I am a big believer in individual and business responsibility. I believe if you made a mistake, the solution is not by penalizing someone else. I told her exactly that and she laughed on the phone. I was shocked by her reaction and at the business practice. I didn't appreciate she kept questioning if I dropped off all 5 pieces, as if to push the blame to me, instead of acknowledge they lost my shirt. And charge me more? Why am I the first suspect when something goes wrong at your business, especially when I have a receipt? Then Vicky the owner got on the phone. She first questioned if I dropped off five shirts, then she said she will check with her clerk the next morning. I was frustrated enough by this time that I just asked her to find and return my cloths. Tuesday evening I went there. Vicky was there and showed me the 4 shirts they have I told her what the 5th missing shirt looked like. A little bit after I left, Vicky called me and said they found my 5th shirt and offered to clean the shirts for free! I appreciated the gesture and said I will pay. So I went there today and picked up 5 clean shirts and paid the $14 as on the receipt. I appreciated the personal attention Vicky gave to this matter and the resolution is satisfactory. Hence 4 star. The message I received from Vicky and the other young woman on Monday was different. So perhaps the lesson here is to not waste your time/energy on the phone. Just go to Dryclean-Pro and talk to Vicky face to face if there is an issue. read more
