I got an estimate for the repairs needed from the dealer but was hoping like heck to find a way to get my car fixed and running well without THAT price tag! Let me just say I was MORE THAN HAPPY with their estimate. I would repeat EVERY good thing that's been said about this FINE business by the other reviewers. They are nice guys! They like what they do! They 'got' that I didn't want to ditch my 20 yr. old Honda Prelude just beccause it needed a lot of work done. I just drove it home and it feels GOOD! GREAT! You should ABSOLUTELY bring your car to Pro Import for repairs. When I initially called these guys (and I have been "shopping around" for a great auto mechanic for a long, long time), I spoke with Steve... incredible guy! I explained all of the work my car required (a lot), I was very impressed with his patience (as I can talk), his knowledge, and his honesty/candor. Encouraged by the wonderful Google and Yelp reviews, I made an appointment with these guys only to have my ass handed to me. Charged $129 diagnosis to do 20 minutes of inspection (though I waited 40 before the car even went into a bay) and tell me I need to run around town taking the car to the dealer and windshield repair shop. Also confirmed what I already knew from a free check engine diagnosis from AutoZone, then quoted me ~$500 for parts and labor to fix it -- diagnosis fee notwithstanding. NOT happy. read more

I called around to many different car shops to get pricing around Denver to fix my Honda, and this place had the best prices and the best reviews so I went for it. I am so happy with what I got! The pricing is fair and they break down clearly how they are charging you (how much for parts how much for labor). I'm in downtown Denver so I had to drive a bit to get there but its worth it, much cheaper than anything in the city as far as my research went and my car is driving so much better. I priced out this job all over town and these guys came in well under everyone else -- all with a 24,000 mile warranty. They also squeezed me in for a pretty big job on my 2006 Acura MDX the very next day, which was hugely convenient. Took the time to explain what the work was and educate me a little bit too. I recently had a timing belt kit installed on my 2006 Honda Accord V6, along with a minor o-ring repair to my power steering pump. I cannot say enough good things about Pro Import and Jimmy's customer service. For years, I used a local Honda dealership for service, and it always seemed that I was being overcharged and they often couldn't diagnose problems. We've been taking our cars to Pro Import for at least 8 years now. I have been fleeced by repair shops in the past and finding a good, trustworthy mechanic is so hard. These guys never suggest unnecessary repairs. They've been honest and the cars are always repaired on time without hiccups. I had a cracked windshield wiper fluid container once and the Infiniti dealership wanted $600+ to replace it and Pro Import charged me somewhere in the neighborhood of $250. I've never been back to the Infiniti dealership since that time, not even for oil changes when the car was still under warranty because I don't want to do business with a company that takes advantage of their customers like that. I took my vehicle in for a synthetic oil change. When they finished and rang me up I was surprised to find that the price had gone up since last time. They claimed that with the previous oil change they had undercharged me because my particular car engine requires 6 quarts, not 5. Come to find out my owner's manual states that my car requires 5 quarts, including filter capacity. It specifically states 5.0 quarts. So that means Pro Import either overcharged me or they overfilled my engine. I am actually hoping they overcharged me, because overfilling my engine by a whole quart is NOT good. In the past they have also charged me $20 to rotate my tires...during a brake job! That's two separate negative experiences. Not very Pro at all. read more

Wow! So good to know that there are still honest repair shops out there! When my son's truck wouldn't start, they got it in and diagnosed right away. They ordered and replaced a fuse box, which unfortunately was not the cause of the problem, and when they couldn't determine what the problem was, had the truck towed to the Nissan dealership. Oddly enough, the main wiring harness behind the firewall had been chewed through by rodents. When we tried to pay Pro Import for the part that they had ordered and the time spent on diagnosing and repairs, they would only allow us to pay for a half-hour diagnostic fee and the tow charge--no matter how much I argued! That level of honesty and integrity is admirable and rare, and we will definitely trust our cars to them in the future and encourage others to do the same! read more

The level of integrity and honesty at Pro Import is admirable. We brought our Honda Pilot in and were told that our Pilot was under warranty for the repair after they went out of their way to call in our VIN # to a Honda dealership and find out the repair was covered. They could have easily not gone the extra step and charged us for the work but instead reached out to Honda. Even though they didn't directly get our business I hope word of mouth and reviews about their integrity continues to bring them business. read more

I wouldn't take my cars anyplace else. I own everything from 2 1960's vehicles to a newer diesel SUV. I know that no matter what is wrong with the cars they will take care of them. They not only work on foreign but also domestic. I can't say enough about their service. read more

I've taken my Infiniti G35 to Pro Import a few times for maintenance. After tiring of being ripped off by the dealership, it was so refreshing to find these honest mechanics. Especially as a woman, I know the word "honest" and "mechanic" seem unrelated, but I found these guys to be an exception to that stereotype. They provided quick and affordable service. They take the time to explain your car's diagnosis and always provide excellent customer service, which makes ALL the difference to me.
