I had a charging problem andJack couldn't fix it as it was a board issue, but he was as honest as they come. On the first assessment he thought the battery could've been the issue, so he replaced it and even put a new screen protector on my phone. My phone was able to turn on, but it still had the other issues. I visited him a second time so he could pinpoint those issues and he was able to figure out that it was most likely my tristar chip that was causing them. Since he couldn't do this type of level repair, he refunded me what I paid for the battery replacement, gave me some recommendations on who could possible fix it and said something along the lines of, it's not fair for me to pay for a "repair/replacement" when what he did, didn't fix the issue. It's refreshing to see that he was not in it just for the money, but he genuinely wanted to help the customer out. I would recommend anyone to come here for any iphone issues. If he can't fix it, he won't pretend like he can, instead he'll actually recommend someone who can. A++ read more

This is my story, cracked my the screen on my iphone 4 and wanted it to be fixed. I went on craigslist.com and found a place in Arleta, CA to fix my cracked screen for what was originally said 39.99. When I got there it changed to 60.00. They fixed it and everything was fine. 2 days later my phone completely shut off and was not turning back on. Took it to apple and they said they cannot do anything about it because the screen was not an original apple screen. So not only did they screw up my phone but they changed it with a fake apple screen. I took it to IFONE REPAIR and the technician Jack was extremely professional and helpful. He tried to restore it for me and it didn't work because the other company had removed necessary screws from my iphone. He changed the old screen with an original apple screen so apple would change it for me. I knew about ifone repair but I just wanted to save $30.00 so I went with Smart Repair. In conclusion, I ended up spending close to $300.00 just because I wanted to save $30.00. EVERYONE PLEASE make sure to actually read the reviews of the companies you decide to go with because no everyone actually knows how to repair an iphone screen correctly. Good location. Walked in and was asked by the women in the front of the building to sign in. Since I'm not visiting the goddamn CIA, I dutifully wrote "batman" on the sign in sheet and proceeded to the iphone repare suite. The guy was nice, straightforward, and did the work in a reasonable amount of time. Charged $80 (with the discount I got) to replace my iphone 4 screen and said he'd do the back for $10, although he was out of stock at the time. Was $5 more expensive then another place across town, but did the work faster and was far more professional. All in all I'd go back there for the same work if I needed to. When I got home, I hit the phone with some compressed air, hair dryer on medium, and let it sit over night. In the morning, the phone started up and the backlighting on the screen was no more. I read online about the "rice" method, which is quite funny. It's natural desiccating properties are great for some things, such as keeping salt from clumping together in your salt shaker. He looked at my phone, tried a new screen, and was done. In and out in 20 minutes. No problems. Even a 90-day warranty. The price cannot be beat. I looked at getting a used iphone to keep me going until an upgrade. No need. If you have a problem with you iphone, take it here. It's that simple. I went in for an unresponsive home button repair on my otherwise immaculate iPhone 4. I made same day appointment. The quoted price for repair was $40. I found the office inside the Hollywood Production Center in Glendale. Street parking at a meter was easy. I walked into the tiny office that was smartly decorated. The owner/technician greeted me while servicing another iPhone. He handed me the remote to the large screen tv mounted on the wall with Apple TV and told me to help my self. I told him how the button on my phone was behaving while he was already halfway inside the device. Within 20 minutes my phone was working perfectly. He even cleaned all the vents and ports. No dedicated parking lot. May have to drive around. Right next to the mall (5 minute walk from parking lot?) Service - Quick and fast. Will give estimated time of repair. I was in and out in 20 minutes max. I also made an appointment on the website! Price - $100 for iPhone 4 screen repair (iPhone 4 and newer is about that price, because the glass is attached to the display, unlike the 3GS. Something like that) Bonuses - discount on cases - free cheap ones, a discount on more expensive ones. (inexpensive, non-name-brand, but well worth it.) A simple explanation for the price. Comes with a screen protector (not the best quality - minus 1 star for that. Will explain later) My phone shattered while I was using it in the shower (it wasn't the water - I dropped it). I dropped my iPhone 5 in my pool and opened it up to help it dry out faster. It did not succeed in fixing it and so I brought it here. They guy working told me he would probably not succeed in repairing it and told me to take it to Apple and they would replace for $229. Then he told me to check with my credit card company to see if they will reimburse me, I believe AMEX Platinum might. Great advice that cost these guys a some business, but gained them a 5 star review for excellent customer service. They will be my go to people for my household's numerous iPads and iphones.
