The place is all nice and staff friendly. They're here to sale bikes AND service them, which is in both cases about making money. Understandable isn't it? It is also quite easy to be invited for a test ride, which is also avery good way to get the costumer hooked. DOWNSIDE is: there are too many models and not enough demos -if any- and that's why I've been sold for NEW a Ducati Multistrada with 100m to the odometer. Stating 10m on the Sales Contract. I normally do my own service and repairs on my bikes, but anytime I have a positive experience with a dealership, I like to share it. I just moved to LA from the bay area and I had a few recalls noticed to take care of for my new Triumph. I searched around online and decided Pro Italia seemed like the best option to preform the services I needed and as a plus, they weren't too far from my house. I called the service department to make an appointment for the required service. I was informed by the service writer that it would take a few weeks to get the parts needed for the recalls. Once the parts came in, they emailed and called me to setup an appointment. On the morning of the appointment I went out to my garage to find a large screw in my very flat rear tire. I called Pro Italia up to explain the situation and they offered to send a van to pick up my bike, less then an hour later my bike was being loaded in to their van. And to top that off, they picked it up for free! These guys were awesome, and if I ever need to take my bike to a dealership again, this will be the place I go. The only thing that was less then 100% positive about this experience is that it took them a few extra days to complete the work. I explain this by the fact that they didn't get to start working on my bike on the day of the appointment and had to fit it in to their schedule. read more

Let's see, the owner, Bill, is a very down to Earth person who actually assists his staff (you wouldn't know he was the owner unless someone told you... he is that laid back). Salesman Jake was amazing! The guy was helping 5 other customers (6 including me) at the same time, and still made us all feel like we were getting personal service without being ignored. I took in my Ducati Monster 695 because I had a persistent oil leak that other places were unable to fix. I also asked for a general tune-up. Their mechanic/tech Francesca did a really thorough diagnosis and found that the bike was leaking in multiple places. They found the problem quickly, Julian called me right away with an update, they got parts immediately, and the bike was ready for pick-up two days later. They went above and beyond to fine tune the bike, fix the problem for good, turn it around quickly, and hand it off in great condition. Francesca even cleaned the inside of my headlights, which had fogged up over time. Like what? Their techs are excellent and the service is top notch. I'll be back. read more

Long over-due review here, but I guess I can now include a year's worth of service in my review. I bought a 2012 Ducati Monster 1100EVO last July. It was my first Ducati. I had been shopping around. I went to Ducati in Beverly Hills, and Del Amo in Marina Del Rey. I wasn't impressed with either place as they didn't have any any enthusiasm about the bikes. They wanted to sell me something, and it didn't matter what. My friend told me to go to Pro Italia. He said they are the best, and buying a bike from them is like joining a community. I went there, was able to test ride a few bikes, and then chose the new Monster which had just arrived. I love the bike. Being able to test ride before hand(i tested the 796) really gave me insight as to how I would really respond to this particular bike. Ben took great care of me, and made the buying experience about ME. When I walked in, I had no idea which bike to get. He told me the pros and cons of all of them in a straightforward way. It made all the difference in the world. Since then I have come back for a variety of different service and accessory needs. They are stocked with Italian brand gear from helmets to jackets to boots to full leathers. I have had a 600-mile service, a 2,600 mile oil change, and a recall service done on my rear wheel. All have been completed when they said they would, and I get my bike back clean and on time. Pro Italia also hosts a variety of different get togethers. After buying my bike, I signed up for a suspension clinic where I learned how to adjust my front suspension to my height and weight. Then the company running the clinic did the actual adjustment. There must have been 50 other riders there for this, which means you are surrounded by like-minded people. I already have a few friends that I met just from being there. I've gone back for BBQ's, and their AWESOME CAFE DESMO(they line the streets with rad Italian bikes). My friend said that I would be joining a community if I bought a bike here, and that is exactly how I feel. All of the sales guys are good, but I worked with Ben and highly recommend that you ask for him. Pro Italia has a great policy of allowing demo rides for qualified riders and serious potential buyers, which already sets them well above other dealers in Southern California, and I like their no-pressure approach (which to some may seem unwelcoming, but I assure you it's not). I prefer to flag down a salesperson when I have a question or want to buy something than to have someone attach to me as I browse, but that's me. Pro Italia let me demo a 2016 Ducati Panigale and a 2013 Triumph Daytona 675R trade-in, and I appreciate this policy because it really made it clear how I felt about the Panigale (compared to other bikes in its class) and re-awakened my affection for the Daytona. I came back a couple days later and picked up the Daytona, and Pro Italia were awesome during the whole transaction. --UPDATE-- Rick had formerly disclosed an issue with a weeping gasket before I bought the bike, but offered to waive labor cost. So, I had this fixed during the routine 6000 mile maintenance that the previous owner hadn't yet done. No charge to fix the gasket, and I appreciated that disclosure. The service department appears to have done an excellent job, delivered the bike clean and were quite pleasant to deal-with. They also installed a new kickstand return spring and kept the special-order part in-stock until my service appointment. A shop selling top-notch Italian and English bikes could possibly get-away with being pompous, cold or arrogant, but Pro Italia is anything but. Bike: 2018 Ducati Supersport S. I did not buy my Supersport here, but I have taken my bike to this shop 4 times in the last year for scheduled maintenance, oil changes and 2 new sets of tires now (yep, I commute over 12,000 miles per year). I have read a few negative comments and I have to say that my experience with the service department, parts, and the owner Bill, have all been great. Michael in service is knowledgeable, he listens, gives you his advice and opinion, and is very friendly. Bill the owner wants to run the best shopping town and he wants everyone to be happy. If you have an issue, or some constructive feedback, then talk to him! He is distinctive (he's the bald one on the sale floor!), very approachable and also interested to hear from you. He has been there every time I have gone for service. Just to be clear, I have no skin in this review, I am merely a customer, and I did give Bill some constructive feedback while I was there this week. Service does a terrible job of returning calls, and that is the one thing that they really need to improve on from a customer Sat. perspective. Called Marcus at service last min to flush out my brakes since the pedal was going down all the way. He introduced me to Francesca and she started. Found out my rear brakes are also at 1mm so I had her replace it while she was at it. Took about 1.5 hours and when I got it back the brakes were better than first day I bought the bike. Best duck dealer in SOCAL (other than Santa Barbara, which is better). MV Agusta side is weak, blames importer. Duck side is quite good, with serious and good service. Mailorder is fair to poor. Living in Bay Area, do some mail order with them; they get it right about 1 out of 3 on average, real poor attention to detail on mail order. But all in all a nice and valuable place to have in the Italian bike area. read more

Coming from Kawasaki Ninja's both the 250/500 for several years and being a short Filipino rider, I was a little hesitant to purchase a Ducati. After several conversations from friends, co-workers and my favorite bike repair shop, West Coast GP - I decided to look into the Monster 696. That is where Pro Italia comes in. The sales team was awesome, attentive and gave me several options that would meet my needs. Ben in sales and Justino, the Finance Manager was great at keeping the figures to where it would meet my needs. This bike shop runs more on a professional scale, you could tell by the people coming in to buy parts, motorcycles, etc. I wouldn't shy away if your the average joe on the block, but I would prep on moto speak. All in all i'm happy with my new 2013 Ducati 696 Monster, which i've named her Mona, the Monster. read more

They have good price for parts and I wanted a body kit for the Monster. Called them to check the avail and was told that it would take about 10 working days to have it shipped from Italy. Ordered it online and received order information right away. After about 5 days, got an email saying the kit is in, so I replied that I'd pick up over the weekend. Since they also have a jacket that I like on clearance, I called around noon to see if they have one in stock, so I can try it on when I go pick up the kit. No answer, so I left a message. I also email parts for the same and got the reply the next day saying the jacket would need to be ordered. Then I got a call from Karen stating she is returning my call with the same info. No problem there, I was going to go there anyway and she told me there are other jackets on clearance that I could look at. I walked in around noon on Sat. Parking was an issue, but found a spot near the school. I entered from the side/parts dept. Looking at the jackets first. When I made my way to the front where Karen was sitting, she saw me and immediately offered assistance. I told her that I spoke to her the day before and she walked me back to the clearance section and help me find the size and the fabric jacket that I want. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and found different sizes for me the try on. Once that the size was determined, she also suggested to wear the jacket for a few more minutes and sit on the same model bike I have to make sure that everything is ok. At the end, she gave me a discount on the jack, which is a bit over my budget, so I told her that I'd think about it. No problem there. Then, I went on to talk to Roger to pick up the kit. He then opened the box and helped me exam the pieces to make sure they are ok. I have also asked him about a ECU question and he connected me with the parts guy (did not get his name, sorry). Very helpful gentlemen and in the end, my question was answered to my satisfaction. Also, I bought the jack anyway, because of the great service that I have received. Karen, if you are reading this, the summer jacket fits great and I love it! I took a ride down to Newport Beach (3 hrs rd trip) and it was very comfortable. It did get a little cold toward the evening, but hey, it is a summer jacket : ) Overall, friendly service that I've received and it was my first time there! I will be back. read more

All of the guys on the floor were helpful and took time to answer all my questions thoroughly. Parts department lady named "toast" doesn't like picking up the phone I called 12 times and was only to get ahold of her after getting ahold of sales person to transfer me over and when I asked if she was slammed his response was she's doing nothing right now... I ordered a part off their eBay page. Part did not fit my year I found out the monster had a different swing arm starting 2017 (shares the same swing arm as Supersport) tried to explain it to her why it would fit and she kept giving me excuses and not listening to me and having none of it. Well guess I'll go to another Ducati dealer from now on for my monster 1200S and my Superleggera.... there are plenty other dealers to go to that don't have an attitude and sometimes use their ears not just their mouth....actually I made no "threatening" statements. Dude your "employee" is stubborn and would not listen. Sometimes when something doesn't work out maybe, just maybe you should do research before you go off or just simply listen. You listing was wrong 10-16 was the year. Bought my second bike from Pro Italia. Ben and the guys are super cool and very laid back. Don't get me wrong, he's definitely a salesman. The sales style fits my personality. Ben waits until I find exactly what I'm looking for in a bike. They're appear to be a little unorganized, but everything works out in the end as long as you're patient. Both show rooms are very cool. They have a great selection of bikes on the showroom floor. Love the organized rides too! I definitely recommend giving them a try. After calling around for belts for my 998 I was concerned that so many Ducati shops didn't have them in stock. Fortunately, Pro Italia had them. Went to their shop and enjoyed looking at the variety of sport bikes they had on display. All the sales staff were friendly and showed me several bikes they just got in. Eric at the parts counter got me my belts and a couple of other parts that were at a fair price. Could not have had a more pleasant experience unless the price of a new V4s was cut in half. Excellent service. I made an online purchase and did an in store pick up with no hassle. They are very prompt in answering your questions through online and in store. Will buy from them again soon. If you are purchasing any part you should call ahead and ask if they have it in stock. I unknowingly ordered a clutch plate and basket thinking that they had it in stock but they had to order it from Italy. Longest 10 days waiting for parts coming from Italy but nonetheless it came as described. Cool benefit that not a lot of places have is their loyalty point system. I went in there to buy Ducati fork seals and fork oil for my Ducati. The prices were spot on and not gauged. The guy rang me up and was very friendly and nice. I asked him more about measurements and he sent me out back and told me who to speak to in service to help me answer my question. Thats pretty cool. I went back there and spoke to Sandro. Awesome guy and very helpful. He even gave me the Ohlins reps number! I have read many reviews about these guys being snooty and stuck up but I found them to not be that way at all. Its been a few months since my last review and my bike is again in the shop. I was really impressed with the friendliness and responsiveness this time around. Both John and the rest of the service team got back to me the next day after dropping my bike off for diagnosis. They talked me through the results of the diagnosis and why my clutch plates had to be replaced (bike at 12,000 miles). They met the timelines they promised and contacted me early today so I could have time to decide what to do. Really impressed with the turn around guys, great job. I really like these guys, but their prices are in the stratosphere. They sold me a helmet for $700 that is available on revzilla, amazon and retail for $400. I called in the next morning to ask what was up and the girl on the phone very politely explained that all sales are final. Make sure you do your price research before getting gouged! Even the tech in the back who was working on the bikes gave me a minute to try out one of the seats I wanted to try for myself. The other gentleman in the front counter was very welcoming. The people that work here were very, very accommodating and the main reason I decided to write this review was that I wasn't pressured into buying anything. They genuinely just wanted to talk and have good conversations and share their knowledge to noobs such as myself. Over time, I'm pretty confident that I'll learn a good deal about bikes since I have an OCD personality in regard to understanding how things work. Since buying another Ducati this year I was in search of a new jacket. I was on my way to another "bigger" dealership when I remembered Pro Italia. It has been many years but since I was in the area, I thought I would stop by and see what selection they had. It is a small shop but when you walk in, you immediately feel the Italian history and know you are going to get personal service. After drooling over the Superleggera they had in the showroom for a few minutes I started looking at jackets. They had a better selection than I thought. Karen was very knowledgeable and to be honest, without her help I would have chosen the wrong size jacket. After trying on a few she saw right away I was trying on the wrong size and pointed out the things to look for in getting the right size. I still couldn't decide on color and brand so me and the GF left to get some lunch. We came back and hour later and I tried on the jackets again. She suggested to try them on with the back protector while sitting on one of the bikes. She was so patient with me, I would have never gotten this kind of service from one of those "bigger" dealerships. In the end, I got a great deal on the perfect jacket for me.
