I was in on 3/30/19 and got a gel pedicure and gel builder fill. He had to redo my gel on my nails because he messed up the first time. But the bigger problem is that I have an infection on my big toe from them cutting my nail. It was so painful yesterday that I couldn't even put any weight on it. Just awful! My daughter had her nails done here this morning and came home in tears at how awful her nails were. As a young consumer it is hard to speak up and be your own advocate and even harder when with your girlfriends. Most definitely NOT a helicopter parent but every once in a while I need to be her advocate. When we went back together they were argumentative, unapologetic, antagonizing and demoralizing. Even after drawing blood, she put the same tools back in her little kit. Not cool and definitely not sanitary. The mani itself is good from afar but far from good. Not only did she polish my nails, but she also managed to polish my fingertips and cuticles. If I wasn't sitting there watching her I could swear my nails were polished by some Cambodian amputee that has to make do with using her feet as hands. But no, Mai is from Vietnam and she is lucky enough to have full use of her upper extremities. Yeah, they're nice here and all, but give me a break! I rarely come to avoid a nail salon. It's pretty hard for me to experience a truly crappy mani/pedi. I mean, come on! When your hands are meticulously taken care of by someone your cuticles get cleaned up, polish actually cooperates, and usually a massage is included. So what made this place so lousy?! Well, for one, it was the foot baths. FYI, these are not the inviting, sturdy foot-spas with the high powered jet streams and the remote controlled massage chairs that you could easily find at the Happy Nails across the street. Nope. You might as well stick your own feet in a salad bowl you have at home and save the money you would have spent on a dinky foot basin here. And while the manicurists/pedicurists were perfectly nice, I could not say the same for the manager, who loomed at the front desk. I asked him for help getting tip money from their ATM and another simple question and his response displayed blatant annoyance. Shesh. Walking in very excited to get my nails done before the day of my engagement. I was ready to have beautiful nails to take pictures of. To my surprise, my nails are now worse than they were when I walked in. The man who was doing my nails wouldn't listen to what I wanted and was incredibly rude when I tried to tell him. He proceeded to drill my nails for about 30 minutes trying to fix the nails when he just continued to make it worse. Every single nail was a different shape, completely uneven and incredibly thick. The acrylic got on my skin to the point it burned. I was sitting there so long I ended up grabbing the nail filler trying to show him what I wanted. They were so horrible that I didn't even let him finish and HE STILL CHARGED ME. I left the shop needing to go straight to cvs to buy my own products at home to fix them. My daughter saw how horrible they looked and decided to go back in to ask for a refund, as he did not finish and did a horrible job. They said they would refund me, but ended up running outside to try to fix it. At this point I was late to picking up someone to the airport. I went back in and everyone just stared at me, it was mortifying. I needed to leave and so I just said forget it. Without the refund. And with my nails being ruined for my engagement. I had been going to this place for a few months. Wasn't loving the staff. But they had good prices and did a decent job. On April 6th 2017 I got my nails done as usual. I had no open wounds or anything on my hands. Two days later this happened. I went in to tell them and they completely disregarded everything I said and told me "we sterilize our tools for 15 minutes every time", which obviously isn't the case seeing as I got a massive infection in my finger. I further required antibiotics, a surgery on my finger called an I&D in two places to release the pressure and IV antibiotics. I didn't want a gift card or anything from them because I am obviously never going back to them again. But they couldn't even say sorry. Careful going here ladies, if you do bring your own tools because this was one of the most painful things I have yet to experience. read more

If you're looking for dip powder, this is the place to go, and Trinh is the person to ask for. She is AMAZING and the dip powder lasts for around 3-4 weeks. It's hard like acrylic, but there are no tips to glue on, they just use your natural nails. My nails haven't chipped once, and a broken nail with this stuff is nearly impossible. I was so excited to get my nails done! And I asked for that mirrored gold look with gel on my nails. What I got was something that looked like an attempt of the final look but it was may be a five out of ten. Plus I had hair stuck to two of my nails before the manicure was done. How? No idea but I have never had that happen to me before. I could also see the red base through the mirrored finish and the original plastic nail look did not have that. It was gold. And I could see red also around the edges of my nail. The surface was also very uneven and that had never happened to me before. The overall looks was very messy. There was one woman who was very displeased with me saying that I didn't like their job. I was paying more for this finish because I really liked how it looked on the nail palette and according to her, they did exactly what they had to do and the final look of my nail was great and if I didn't like - well, it's not their fault. That made me very angry with her. They attempted to repair one of my nails and it took a lot longer to complete my manicure so I ended up just telling them to finish as much of the repair work as possible and leave.
