AMAZING place. I don't know where these bad reviews are from.. But this place is perfect. The prices are great! $30 for full set of acrylics. $20 for a fill. They have wonderful service, and clean facility, and did my nails SO much better than another high rated salon I went to!! :D Edit: so I've been going to this salon for a few months now. And I've only been disappointed once. That was when I got a different manicurist than my usual. She was super sweet, but did just clear and gel overlay. And the gel was sloppy and the nails were unshaped. So lesson learned. GO TO MINDY :D And make sure to make an appointment!! read more

Nope. Nope. Nope. Ten years ago, when I first moved into the area I dropped into this place for a pedicure. It was a weekday and my kids were in school. There is a big sign in the window that says,"WALK INS WELCOME." So I walked in. Well, there were three employees there. Two were engaged with their clients. The other one said they couldn't take me today. I left and thought I would never go back because there are nail places on every block and I was sure I would find some place I would like. So today, I'm still looking for a good place. And someone recommended this place so I thought if give it another try. Same sign is still in the door and guess what? They can't take me. I have never religiously gone to ONE nail salon... Until Helna did my toes. I love getting French on my toes but the sun can make them look slightly yellow or they just chip... I know it sounds crazy but I will never not have acrylic on my toes. I see Helna about every 3-4 wks to get my toes done. I absolutely love them and never have to worry about them with the gel over the acrylic they are perfectly shiny all 3 or 4 Weeks. Calling to make my next appt now :) thanks Helna! read more

I have been going to Halena for at least years! I have moved several times and no matter how far I've gone I will always go here!! Halena always fits me in when I call her and if I mess up a nail she's always got time to fix it for me (I am very hard on my nails) Tina has done my toes several times and I am never unhappy! This place is clean, professional, and always courteous! They are very busy with appointments but as long as you call they always try to fit you in there schedule. Prices are phenomenal. Lying here in extreme pain! I had a mani pedi 7 hours ago and am left with chemical burns on my feet and unable to walk. The burning began seconds after she put calus remover on my feet. I complained that my feet were burning and she partially rinsed them in alcohol and continued pumicing them. Its been hot and dry out so i thought maybe i was just a little sensitive. Now I'm thinking I may need to go to the ER because the pain is so intense. read more

I have been a customer for 15 years. Helena is always willing to accommodate a time change for my appointment, when necessary, and she does a great job. I have acrylic French nails every two weeks either redone or filled. Tina does my pedicure and is very good...I love the message chair while you are having the pedicure done. I have been going to Halena for the past 6ish months and I will never go to anyone else. Halena just gets it. She is very professional and she is the best in her profession. Besides it being extremely affordable ($30 full / $20 fill) I love there there are only three nail stations. I LOVE that there aren't 10+ stations, the phone ringing off the hook and people running around everywhere. When I see Halena (which is every two weeks) I know that my nails are going to look fabulous and I'll be able to actually relax a little. I believe people are writing bad comments because they did not make an appoint. All three ladies are busy (they are the best so of course they are busy). I was looking for a new nail place close to home. My person that did my nails for 10 years moved out of town. So I make my appointment and wasn't told that they accept cash only. I get to my appt and there are no signs that say cash only but I also notice no charge card signs. I ask if they take cash only and get looked at like I am an idiot. So I ask where an ATM is and it's across the street so I drive over and get cash. When I get back the lady that is going to do my pedicure is waiting for me. She did an ok pedicure without saying 2 words to me. Then when I asked about my manicure that i scheduled they seemed put out and too busy. I wanted acrylics but was talked out of them and I asked for rhinestones on my nails and she asked what I wanted? I said I don't know what do u normally do? She didn't know. So I have 2 rhinestones next to each other. Looks bad. The shop also had a bad vibe. It just seems thrown together and feels weird. I won't be back. I found another place across the street and they were amazing. I found my new favorite. ....... sooooooo exactly 2 weeks later and all rhinestones have been long gone as with the gel nails. I have 2 on one hand and 3 1/2 left on the other hand. I don't do dishes and i am not rough on my hands. What a waste of money. read more

This I Was the worst experience. my granddaughter and I went in for a mani and pedi. we asked if they could do us both. the response was yes pick your color and have a seat at the chair . I verified we both wanted manicures and pedicures. she started the pedi on me was the fastest I had ever had, she starts my granddaughter, sloppy nail painting, on my granddaughter After the pedicure she says. You have to come back in 2 our to get manicure. I looked at her and said what? I have to take care of lady over their then can do your manicure. she new that if she said she could not do both we would have left and she would not have gotten nothing. So she deceived us and wante@cox.netd us to pay 35 for each or pay 40 each and come back in 2 hour. Absolutely love my nail technician!! The salon itself is less than okay. The entire salon is dirty from the front windows to the back door, but the bathroom is disgusting. If the owner doesn't care to clean then maybe she should hire someone to clean!! Maybe some simple chairs for waiting instead of old furniture would spruce the place up?!! I called at about 4pm on a Friday, needed my nails done in a hurry. I had read that they take appointment only, as any respectable business does, so I called hoping to book one maybe for Saturday. I also asked if there were any openings at all for the day, expecting a "no," like everywhere else. Whoever answered the phone was great and asked the other girls if anyone could take me. Halena was able to squeeze me in at 6pm. I showed up early (excited) and as I came in the door, she said hi. I sat on the super comfy couch in the waiting area while she finished her previous client. She is a PRO just like the name suggests. She built my acrylics on top of my natural nail and listened to exactly what I wanted. She did make a few suggestions, which I appreciated since she knows much more than I do! Her sweet, professional manner and gentleness was a nice change of pace. She was so quick! Even though we chatted the whole time! I was done in maybe 45 minutes, I think it was less. Well it was time for a fill for me badly and saw they were appointment only which made me happy soo called knew i wouldn't get an appointment that same day but gave it shot. Halena the owner answer sweetest person ever she informed she had an opening and would be happy to take me on. I was excited showed up 10 mins early as soon as i got there she greeted me by name told me she will be ready for me soon she was finishing up her client before me. I've had bad experiences at placea before where I'd schedule an appointment and i wouldn't get seen at time i set because they would take walk ins and not focus on me. I loved that her place id appointment only and that she put all her attention on doing what i wanted. I asked for my nails to be shorter because of the job i do in nursing. She knew right off the bat how short i needed and wanted them. Soon as she was done i was so happy gave her lots of props! She talked to me my whole appointment too she definitely has great customer service! She only charged me 25 for my fill which honestly isn't bad only down part is it's cash only which i should of asked before coming cause now in days don't think anyone carries cash at least i dont. Luckily my bank was across street so wasn't a big deal to go but now i know to bring cash. Other than that had a wonderful experience and I'm happy i found my new nail place to go.
