My phone wouldn't connect to cellular, and they kept it for 3 months. I called them for weeks and eventually they just gave up. My phone is now broken; they refunded me and refused to compensate me for damages to my phone. In the end I spent 3 months and weeks in conversation with them for them to break my phone further. Broke my iPhone on a recent trip to Baltimore.I ordered a new screen but order the wrong one and didn't realize it until I was about to install it. I put it back together and it didn't work and I had a few extra screws. I took the phone there as it sat and they told me it was not a problem that they had the screen there and the installer would know where the screws belonged. They told me to come back in a hour , which I did and when I went up to the counter they told me he was finishing up now. It was well worth the $60 to have my phone back up and running. My wife took my son's iPhone 5s into this place to get the screen replaced. After replacing the screen twice, we're still having problems. The first replacement screen had lots of problems with ghost taps and jitteriness. I took it back in and they put a second new screen on it. The second screen has a a white hotspot on it and a strange lip on one edge. It also has problems with ghost taps and unresponsiveness. I have done phone repair in the past and I know there is a lot of crappy after-market screens available. I would hope that a store like this one would have a reliable source of good quality replacement screens. Not so-- the screens they are using are complete crap. I would stay away from this place. You can find other repair shops in the area with great reviews and similar prices. read more

I needed my iPhone5S screen replaced. A friend had recommended Pro Wireless so I decided to give them a try. They replaced it in about an hour and a half just before closing time on a weeknight. I had some issues and had to go back. The fingerprint log in stopped working and while my car said the phone was turned on and battery fully charged the screen was blank. If the story stopped here, they'd get zero stars. They not only replaced the screen a second time, he replaced my battery at no additional cost due to my troubles. After a few weeks the digitizer started acting flakey and the polarized screen didn't work with my polarized sun glasses. An Apple screen doesn't have this issue. I just received a new company phone (Samsung Galaxy S-3) and needed some accessory items. They must have 1000+ phone cases in the store, all sorted by the type of phone that you have. I asked someone to help me find a case, and they showed me the selection. I found a black rubber gel case for $12, and also purchased a leather cell phone case that attaches to your belt for $15. They also changed the screen protector for me for just $5. Very professional, and reasonably priced as well. This store is located at the food court inside Cary Town Center. I had an iphone5 with cracked glass. I went to 2 other places and was told that my display also needed replacing, in addition to the cost of the glass, it would only be an additional $40-$50. These guys at Pro Wireless looked at the phone and within 2 minutes told me they could replace the glass and could do it in an hour. They has a small work area and you could see two technicians working. They also had 1000's of cases, all very reasonably priced As I was at the Triangle Town Center, no problem waiting. When I returned, my phone was ready and worked perfectly. Forget the other guys who claim to do repairs and just want to upsell you. These guys were professional and polite. read more

I came back about 3 weeks later (after being out of the country) and asked if they could exchange it. I didn't have a receipt,but it was obviously one of their brands. If you can't tell by my rating I AM NOT SATISFIED with Pro Wireless and the work they do. DO NOT GO HERE to get your screen fixed or else you will be paying another 90 dollars to get it fixed AGAIN just a few months down the road! I cracked my screen and went to Pro Wireless to get it replaced.. They give you a 30 day warranty which does no good since just a few months down the road my screen goes BLANK ! They told me since the warranty was up there's nothing they can do about it. I went to my phone carrier (sprint) and when I told them where I got it fixed they immediately informed me never to go there again because they use cheap cheesy parts and recommended another place for me to get my iphone fixed. Here I go again to pay another 90$ to get ANOTHER screen!! So yes, I am very displeased with the quality of work and parts from Pro Wireless.. OH! Did I mention the service there was just as crappy as their parts? The people were rude and short with NOT ONLY ME but also a family member who was looking for a new phone case and decided to go elsewhere due to the rude service from the employees! Right after this review I'm calling the better business bureau to turn them in for using crappy parts! I had cracked my screen on my Iphone 5S and I went here to get a replaced, the buttons and everything were working fine with the cracked screen. As soon as I get it replaced my home button on my iphone 5S is glitching and I have to hit multiple times to go back to the home screen, and then eventually stopped working. I went back to pro wireless to see if they could fix and they are telling me its water damage, when the button was clearly working fine before I had the screen replaced. Horrible customer service, every product is fake and cheaply made. They are extremely expensive. The old man is creepy, has a Donald Trump haircut, a crooked smile, with eyes that will laugh at your soul when he overcharges you. I asked them to just fix the screen, a month later my battery couldn't charge past 30%, when told me they had the same problem, I knew something was up. I did some more digging and found out that they take your original apple battery and replace it with a cheap Chinese battery. BE WARNED!! I was in the market for a cell phone and happened to be walking past this store and thought I would stop in and see if they had any phones at my price point. After some negotiating they offered me a "almost new" but "Open Box" Samsung Galaxy S6 for $500 if I paid cash. I know this is a lot of money but it would be my sons first good phone and I figured it would last at least a year and than I could put it on eBay for a few hundred. I brought it home and put my T-Mobile sim card in and it started up fine. I went through the settings and saw that I could turn the resolution up, and as soon as I pressed the button the screen flashed and the phone turned off. Restarted and the phone crashed in about 5 minutes. This went on for about 2 days until finally in the morning I picked it up and the battery symbol showed a lightening bolt and it was not charging. Broken. I went back to the store thinking maybe these guys messed with it or could put a new ROM on it and MAYBE they knew what to do. I asked the SAME guy "This phone you sold me a few days ago will not stay on for more than 5 minutes and keeps going to the Odin screen wanting a new download." The first words out of his smirking slanted mouth were "Do you have a receipt?" Ofcourse I dont have a receipt - WE MADE A DEAL! YOU KNOW WHAT A DEAL IS? ITS WHAT HONEST MEN MAKE BETWEEN EACH OTHER AND YOUR WORD IS YOUR HONOR! MY MONEY WAS REAL, YOUR PHONE IS CRAP! THEY DID NOTHING TO HELP. All they did was speak to eachother in Chinese. Destroyed my iPhone 6s after dropping it. Currently live in Chapel Hill, but have gone to Pro Wireless in the past when I lived in Cary. They always have the best price to get screens replaced and do it quickly with no problems. Upon arrival, I found out one of my speakers were also broken, and they offered to fix it for $10 in addition to getting my screen replaced. I agreed, seemed like a good deal. I came back after 20 minutes (really fast) and was looking at my phone before I signed and paid to make sure everything was normal. My fingerprint unlock was no longer working, and I asked if since they replaced it would have been affected. One of the girls (not the technician) jumped in and said that when you replace the screen it resets or something like that, so I went to settings to turn it back on thinking I would just have to redo my fingerprints. When I tried to turn it on it failed. I showed them and they looked at it and restarted my phone to try and fix it. It was still not working. I started to worry that it wasn't put back together correctly or something was wrong with my new screen. The technician then tried to say that I brought it in broken and was trying to get him to fix it for free (definitely not the case!!). I got angry that he accused me of lying, and he said that he would out my broken screen back on for free and I could leave. I told him fine do that, and I'll show you that my fingerprint was working on my old screen. He put the old one back on and it worked. Figured out that it was his screen that had a faulty cable that connected to the fingerprint home button. He wouldn't even look at me or apologize for his rude comments. He replaced it with a new screen that worked and I paid and left. Overall, I was okay with the service, but very angry that he tried to blame faulty parts on his customer without truly investigating the situation to find to cause. He was rude and unwilling to acknowledge that he could have done something wrong, but at the same time was willing to fix the problem once I made him figure it out. Before I left, I apologized for being angry with them, and thanked him for going through the trouble to figure it out and he wouldn't even look or speak to me. In short, reliable place that's quick and has competitive pricing, but don't sign, pay, or leave without thoroughly inspecting your devices and don't let them tell you it was your fault if it truly wasn't. read more

First time I came to this place is when my iPhone died and I needed a new phone.Maria was the one who was helping me. I purchased a brand new phone (BLU) from them that day. For having a straight talk, this phone needed a sim card, which I brought over to them to install into my new phone. At the first attempt, Maria ended up breaking the piece off my sim card and I had to go back to Walmart and get a new one. This was not just inconvenient, but also doubled my expenses. After I came back, the guy worker put my sim card on place and it was working fine. After about 3 months, my phone's screen somehow got cracked ( I did not drop it or anything, very gentle with it). I went back to this store, being purchased it there and having a warranty. I wish I would have known the name of the guy who was "helping" me. I showed him my phone and asked if the damage is reversible and told him I could pay for it ( i did not expect a free of charge service). You should have seen this guy's face, he looked at me and my phone and said " You joking, right?". Then he laughed sarcastically. This was all in front of other customers. Then he starting acting mad and started opening my phone with such force and irritation, i thought he was going to break it. Then he stretched my phone to my face and with a raised tone said "Look, your batter is bent, look, look, what do you expect?". Then he roughly gave me my phone back, and started muttering something to himself, what sounded like his native language. I was trying to ask him if I could transfer my info from my sim card, but he just had his head hung low and kept working on the other project. Nobody offered me help, nobody offered me any other phone or discount...Nothing. Instead I just got the worst customer service I could ever get. I will never be going back there again. read more
