Let me start off by saying, we usually buy our vehicles from a ford dealership. The dealership inventories were slim to none on what I was looking for. I was looking for a 4WD F150 or F250 with a good accessory package and an unusual color. I found them by extending my search on car gurus. I saw the truck and took the drive from the Running Springs area. I was pleasantly surprised at the shape and miliage and the detailed maintenance history of the truck. And it checked all my boxes, Lariat, 4WD, and Bronze Fire color to boot. Alex was extremely helpful in getting us through the process of trading in my 2013 F150 and getting into this 2015 F150. The trade in price was more than fair. The process did take a little longer because of me. I wanted my new tires and 2018 take offs switched to the truck I was buying. Eric was extremely helpful in getting this done. He went above and beyond, going to two different shops to get this done. It worked out for us both. Both vehicles actually looked better with the swapped wheels. Eric again helped after the sale. I was a little concerned about the plates and registration taking to long. I received the plates a couple days later by registered mail. I would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from them, they have all makes and models and seem to make sure the vehicles they have are a little different. As in having the upper luxury packages and the colors that are not common. I didn't see one junker on the lot, which is unusual for a used car lot. Car broke down on the 24th on the way to work ....got it towed back home and borrowed my daughters Jetta and headed to work . I needed a new ride. Had New Year's Day off so I went in search of a black Tacoma truck so researched several places using cargurus app and found a couple of prospects . Went to check out a few but the salesmen were either hung over or just wanting to get home to their families . I'm not sure but I needed a new ride . I had 3 places to hit and finally ended up at Proxmotors. I met this dude named Leo and I promptly asked him to let me the drive that beautiful 2017 Toyota Tacoma lifted with after market tires. It was a smooth ride . It's a V4 so it doesn't eat up to much gas. I was into the vehicle so I wanted to get some financing options and Leo had me meet Ali aka Frank . He's a young man with braces . He gave the run down on the financing options and his were pretty good 3.47 or so percent... but I had a pre-approval that was 3.25%. I Always bank with my credit union and so should you ! Did I mention frank was with LA credit union and I was with OC credit . Which was a better choice ?Mine of course. I was pretending I didn't want the truck and even dialed up another dealer to see if I could get the price down a bit . He didn't budge. Just then he wanted to throw in some side runners if I bought the truck this very night . It was at best $150. Nice I got "something " out of him Lmao. Wish I could've picked the side runners but I didn't think about it at the time. Anyways I took the truck home and we scheduled an appointment later in the week so they could free install the side runners when they came in . A few days passed I rang them up and asked if they were in. They were . I dropped it off and 2 hours later I had them on and I was off in my midnight black 2017 Toyota Tacoma . I was content . Not going to lie. I was very skeptical about buying a car from not an actual dealership. These "Smaller or Mom and Pop dealerships" have a bad stereo type. But this place was second to none. The last car my family and I had was a brand new lease right off the lot and let me tell you Pro X Motors had better used cars on the lot plus there customer service was outstanding. Leo in a sales was very straightforward and easy going. He said the cars sell themselves and he was 100% right. His attitude throughout this process made me and my wife very comfortable. And the manager/owner Frank...well words can't explain the above and beyond customer service he provided. Even after I purchased the car he still kept in touch and wanted to make sure the sale of the car was good on both ends and I was happy. By the way cars on the lot are immaculate. I searched for 3 months for a Yukon Denali XL that we wanted. On this used car lot was literally the only spot that I felt in So Cal that all the buttons worked for the seats, lights, windows, mirrors, control fuses and dash board including the cup holder and sun glass holder areas.
