It's Tuesday. I'm here for the follow up. They confirmed they didn't call in my prescription from last Thursday, even when I called to remind them on Friday. The nicest nurse here offered a mild apology but still had the gall to hint that I called really close to closing time on Friday. I replied that it was supposed to be called in on Thursday. He just nodded and said he's going to see if they have time to do it today. How is this a medical facility?!? Teenagers turn in homework with more success than this place. Still no physical therapy. No help. Just annoyance. And near constant pain with ever increasing symptoms (widespread numbness, sciatica, walking like a pirate). Do not come here if you can avoid it. read more

I decided to call the clinic to check if an appointment was necessary, and I was informed that walk-ins are accepted. I arrived at 10:40, but the receptionist was quite rude, treating me as if I were ignorant and displaying her frustration, likely due to her dissatisfaction with her job. Now, at 12:22, I am still waiting. A woman arrived late, dramatically claiming she needed to use the restroom and expressing her disdain for being a patient. She mentioned being on her lunch break, completely disregarding the hours of waiting that others, including myself, have endured. It's incredibly frustrating to see someone cut in line while those of us who have been patient are overlooked. Submitted forms that needed a docter sign off that just said that my employee was treated there and no reponse, a few days later I call and they say I need to pay $25.00 for it to be done so I pay it, two days later they say it will be done 4 days from now. For a place cashing in on workers comp injuries they really need to do better with filling out necessary paperwork. read more

I came in today for a physical for a job and the experience here was very smooth. The front desk people were super friendly and explained the wait time to me as soon as I sighned in, so that was helpful. The back office guy even introduces himself when he called me back. Very professional. I even believe the manager was helping out at the front desk because they were super busy. Great experience over all. read more

Norma and Franky were very helpful and friendly during my pre employment screening. They answer any of my "dumb" questions regarding the X-ray and blood work. Highly recommend going here, the wait times were short at 9:30am and the front office staff was pleasant. Thank You for the great experience I have been through a few of these throughout my years and they didn't all go quite as smoothly as I was left waiting forever at other places. Yelp Challenge 2016 A good employer has their own doctor/clinic for pre employment type services, work related injuries, drug tests, illness or yearly/bi-yearly vaccinations. That's exactly what they do here and its open 24/7. Yup 24 hours a day. Which makes sense, since if you work graveyard and get injured you need somewhere to go. If you come during the late night hour you ring a bell to get in. The doctor is on call for the serious stuff. Located off Harbor and Palm in Garden Grove in a little 2 story complex. Its across from Chase. Your going to go upstairs. Bring in your paperwork and authorization from your employer and sign in. Super duper friendly staff. Well they better be, especially if they are about to give you an injection. Which is what I came in for. So I arrived, signed in and filled out my paperwork and faster than you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious I was taken in the back room. I was in and out in minutes. I think I made the nurse nervous because he ended up bruising me. My wait was minimal, but I didn't require a whole lot. My visit required a return visit 48 hours later. Again I arrived and zero wait. I was in and out faster than Flash himself. I am a fan!! #1009 read more

I came here last Monday around 2:30 with a back injury I got at work from leaping over a creek. I guess I landed awkwardly and it caused my back to spasm and seize. Usually I just "walk it off" but I couldn't even walk at this point. Felt like someone shoved a cattle prod into my lower back and supercharged it. This is the first time I've been to this facility and provider as the last time I had an injury, we had Concentra as our occupational hazard health service. This place was much closer, much easier to navigate around. The medical plaza it located in has ample parking and clearly identifying signs for each unit. I navigated my way up to level 2 after I found parking, they have an elevator but I didn't try it. The actual establishment is run well enough. The doctors, nurses and other staff are friendly and helpful. I do feel though, which actually seems to be a lot of doctor offices, is why do they have you fill out paper work and questionnaires about your health if they are just going to ask you in the exam room? LoL Either way, they are thorough and attentive. Wait times seem to be on par with other "workers comp" health facilities. Dr. John is awesome. Helpful, answered all my "dumb" questions. He had me stand up and knew right away what was wrong as I couldn't stand up straight. He gave me some meds, a cortisone shot and an ice pack with directions of "modified duty" at work. One week has passed and by Friday of last week I was already feeling better! This is my second visit, which started at 9:30 and I'm now waiting in the exam room. No wait in the waiting room but 15 minutes so far in the exam. And I'm done! 10:05 and I'm back to full duty! Doc wants to see me in one week to be sure, do I get one more check in here! I felt I was treated well and with respect. The whole encounter is something I expected. Wait Times are always an issue. It doesn't matter where you go. Physical assistant name Russell at Garden Grove Proactive, had a very bad disposition, he's rude does not listen, talks at you like he's the Adult and your the child when your grown and in pain . I'm not sure about his Education. It's obvious I have a sinus infection, the Bactrim was not working and my sinus on the right side is swollen and I asked what about a different antibiotic, his response was go home boil water put salt in it. And see the Doctor a week later.... I'm in pain have pressure and my eyes are running because of the sinus infection and he wants me to boil water... now I'm looking for a real Doctor to help me... and now I have to call all the proactive around. My experience at proactive has started off pretty rough horrible service actually from the desk. I'm going on my third visit to the office and so far to sum up what I've experienced from the front desk clerks (Diana) one of them that schedule the appointments have been really messy I went into the office and the front desk lady did not know I had an appointment, when she did find my appointment she said it was under a different time. I end up waiting for almost an hour seeing everyone that came in after me go in and out and until I went to the desk clerk to see why I was waiting for so long she said " OH the doctor had a couple of emergency patients that he needed to see" I'm guessing if I did not ask I would most likely still be waiting to be seen. The schedule was done by 2 people I actually called to make sure of the time and it was switched over the phone before the date but going into the office I guess it was never updated or noted. I tried to reschedule my appointment and Diana said there would not be another availability for two weeks after all that they put me through. The front desk clerks are the first impressions of what the doctors are it is not a good look and it makes you feel like you are not in good hands so I would think twice about going to this location. read more

They have poor time management skills. I've been waiting for over 40 minutes for an appointment made three days ago. They said this time slot was available when I made the appointment and now they say they're busy. An office should really prioritize appointments over non-urgent walk-ins, which is why this office has poor time management skills. On my initial appointment the doctor recommended a medical device and upon finding out they didn't have it in stock changed his order and told me the injury wasn't as serious all of a sudden to really need it? Great clinic! I had a lower back muscle sprain that was causing me a great deal of pain. I came here and got checked out. I waited a while to be seen (45 min?) but they had excellent service. Staff was friendly, they educated me on how best to manage my pain, stretching, and etc. They knew what paperwork I needed to get back to work. Dr. C had great bedside manner-attentive and understanding! The nurse I had was wonderful. I am glad I got to be checked out here. At my follow up, I was in and out in 15 min! This place sucks. Highly unprofessional. Wait time is atrocious. No matter what time your appointment is you will wait at least 30 minutes before being called and then an additional 20 or 30 minutes for the Doctor to actually see you. I'm only here because my job chose this place. They even got my chart mixed up with another patient. Even 1 star is too much for this substandard clinic. read more

I recently went in for a work related injury. Everyone knows going to the doctor is sometimes not a pleasent experience. This was not the case here. Friendly staff. Doctor was very informative and super nice. The guy that performed my x-rays was very gentle and helpful when trying to lay on the table. The office was nice and clean.
